Hale Lapa’au Skin and Body

I’d been haphazardly looking for a prenatal/​hapai massage in Kailua for a while, hemming and hawing, i.e. this body wants some TLC! But Christmastime is already spendy, not to mention with a little guy on the way…
My pake side (which is strong with this one) didn’t want anything too fancy pants, as I wouldn’t be able to fully enjoy a spa experience, nor would I want to justify the price! Via Unilocal,I came across Hale Lapa’au with Tiare, which was just what the doctor ordered — like literally. I was ordered to relax.
Tiare is quite the masseuse! A great combination of calm, firm pressure, and checking in on your comfort. To make matters BETTER, her pricing is a steal. 55 minutes (but really, an hour) was just $ 50. Be sure to tip well! She surely deserves it. My mind, body, and blood pressure thank you, Hale Lapa’au!

Wax, massage, facial… do it all! Tiare is amazingly talented, supremely professional and genuinely cares about the concerns you come with. She’s been in the industry for nearly 10 years and her quality service demonstrates her dedication, knowledge and commitment to her craft. I had been paying $ 48 for a brow service elsewhere in Kailua, only to find out my left brow was crooked and they were both over waxed. Thank goodness for Tiare and her meticulous brow skills– she’s helped me reshape them and feel great again. She’s truly the best, and because of this fact she’s always busy! So make sure you schedule in advance so you don’t miss out :) Located in quaint Kailua it’s the perfect environment to enjoy a spa day.

I decided to get a massage on a whim during my vacation in Hawaii and I am so glad I found Tiare. She is amazing, respectful, and well… therapeutic. I was aching from my international flights and she squeezed the fatigue out of me! The facility itself is part of the same building as Nori Kohana. The room is quiet, dimly lit, and cool — perfect retreat from the Hawaiian sun. I would highly recommend :)

I was fortunate to have been given a massage by a friend (Todd) a couple weeks ago.
Tiare Yanagi is unbelievably great!!! Her techniques, soothing touch and her sparkling personality is what made this THE BEST MASSAGE I have EVER had!!! I could have easily laid there for hours while being pampered by this wonderful masseuse.
When she lifted my leg and shook it back and forth, I died! It was the most favorite move along with dropping my leg over the side of the table and pressing down on it. I wish I could go every day! Prices are insanely affordable. I just wished she were open on the weekend as I live in town and can only make the Friday late appointment.
Tiare, you rock! I will be there soon. I don’t think you can get rid of me!!! Mahalo nui loa!

I’ve been a customer even before this place existed (almost 3 years now). Loyal to the core but only because of the excellent service, care, treatment, and ease of scheduling. Tiare is a master of all of those things. This island needs more businesses that are owned and operated to those standards. I highly recommend Hale Lapa’au Skin and Body to anyone.

Just got my eyebrows done from here. Tiare is the best. Wouldn’t trust anyone else. Everyone go to her, she will get the job done right! :)
