I paid over $ 1,800 for a screen door. They failed to install the closure and blocked access to the breaker panel. They wanted more money to fix what they improperly installed and tried to extort money from me when I demanded the parts I paid for. The owner claims to be a Honolulu Fire Department firefighter. Since he broke NFPA and State codes by blocking access to breaker panel, I hope he is lying about his service. If not, I hope my house does not catch fire.

Double sliding doors were corroded so I called Kailua screen shop. Since I’ve been using them for many years I was confident they could handle this. Since I had to work during the day I had them come by my house and pick up the screens. Then the fabricator came by to measure. I was called to pick them up a few days later and was confused when they told me how to cut and install an astragal piece. I wasn’t able to do it properly so the technician came and helped. Awesome quality and customer service from a kamaaina company!

I called a few other screen repair companies with the mobile services, but nobody could come out for at least a week. I came across Kailua Screen Shop on Unilocal,and although they don’t have a mobile service they’re very friendly, quick and cheap. They did a great job replacing my screen and it was way less than I had anticipated. Very highly recommend
