I’m a frequent customer here. Always a fresh choice at the mall, spacious seating, & usually always fast service. I’ve never been disappointed with flavor & freshness of food, only sometimes portions seem a little skimpy. 4 stars for that & sometimes customer service is lacking. But sometimes it’s excellent… This visit the boy at the register was friendly, efficient, & knew what he was doing. So close to perfect 5 stars… I always love my Ninja Sushi meals!

Ninja Sushi is on the second floor down the hallway of Hawaii Escape Challenge. The establishment is right across of a massage parlor. I entered Ninja Sushi with three of my friends. One of them was craving sushi from morning time. We each placed our order separately. The sushi bar accepts cash and credit cards as payments. I had ordered the ume cucumber hoso maki and the shinko hoso maki along with a small drink. There’s a fountain machine with eight different flavors. Customers are able to refill their cup as long as they are eating within the dining area. The dining area is pretty big. There were couple booth seatings, square tables with chairs, round tables with chairs, and cushion benches along the left hand side of the entrance as well as by the divider. The sushi establishment had a flat screen television mounted on the wall near the fountain machine. The Minions movie was being played while my friends and I were eating our sushi grinds. The food joint was very relaxing since it was not as busy as the food court or the bigger restaurants. If I am ever at Windward Mall and have a craving for sushi at least I know where to go. 82⁄200

The sushi here is great and the staff is very friendly, especially the manager, who always starts a conversation with me when I’m ordering or deciding what to order. The food is always fresh and although sometimes the wait is long, I’ve never tried something I didn’t like. When I worked at Windward Mall I would frequent this restaurant as it was one of the only healthy options.

I’ve noticed that everywhere I have been lately, I’ve seen a Ninja Sushi. It’s getting quite popular on the island. It’s understandable since their Maki-Mono rolls are so different from other sushi joints. They have their own unique flavors. My favorite is the Superman. The ahi inside the roll is tartare style. On top of the roll is finely slice ahi, topped with a teri sauce and fried potatoes strings. It might sound a little strange, but it’s very good. The fish is smooth and fresh. The Spicy Ahi Inari was ok. It wasn’t too spicy and I liked the sauce. They need to put a little more fish on it. I was getting just mouthfuls of rice. The prices at Ninja Sushi are a bit higher than comparable spots. However, if you go to the Windward Mall location, they have a frequent dining program. They give you a stamp for every $ 5 that you spend. Once you get 20 stamps they’ll give you $ 5 off. This Ninja Sushi has a huge dining area. It was also immaculately clean.

If you happen to be in the mall and you need to have your sushi craving fixed pronto, this is a decent place to go. However, don’t expect the best sushi you’ve ever had. Also don’t expect a bargain, because the prices here are pretty steep for the so-so quality. If I had to pick a favorite, I’d go with the spicy poke nigiri. Just the right amount of heat and a good texture to the fish. The other things I’ve tried… Udon — Noodles are nice and chewy but the broth is kind of bland. Takoyaki — Flavors are pretty good but the tako is like rubber sometimes. Superman Maki — This was okay. Tried it for the first time recently because I read it was a bestseller… had to google what was inside it actually. It’s filled with spicy tuna, and topped with ahi, sauce, and fried potatoes. Dragon Maki– This was the biggest disappointment for me because dragon rolls are my favorite. Filling was good, sauce good, eel topping was a bit sloppy. and the avocado slices were also sloppy and cut too thick. Avocado overwhelmed the eel a bit. This roll was also a bit cold when we ate it, instead of being warm or room temperature. Don’t know what happened there. We’ve had sushi takeout from a place across the street from the mall, and they’ve never been cold. On the plus side, service is fast. When I’m usually in there, I get rung up by a very nice and friendly woman. Last time however, I got rung up by the manager or owner… who was talking down to his employee and basically treated him worse than dirt(imo.) Even if an employee is a new hire, there’s no call to speak to anyone that way. It was very off putting… although, the boss did save me from leaving without my nigiri in our takeout bag because the employee never put it in there. Also…this place, and the website, seriously need to put descriptions on what ingredients are in their sushi. Everyone else does it for the customer’s convenience. I don’t want to have to goodle what’s in the sushi roll what I want to try something new. So, in a pinch, this place will do. I’d still go back if I have a craving while window shopping. But if you want some excellent quality sushi when in Kaneohe, hit up Kenko-Ya across the street near Safeway. They’ve never let me down, and although they’re just a pricey(possibly a tad bit more) they’re really worth it.

Great sushi! Fast and friendly staff! Must stop always while in Oahu! Super clean and crazy affordable. We loved the sashimi and spicy tuna rolls. They sale Bubba’s peanut butter and chocolate mochi!

Ninja Sushi is conveniently located in the Windward Mall, on the second floor. It is right across from the Federal Credit Union, and offers cheap, delicious sushi and other Japanese items at decent prices. Recommended favorites are the Spicy Ahi Donburi, the Superman Maki roll and the Kim Chee Udon. I also like that they put the sauce atop the spicy ahi, rather than mixing it in. The Superman maki also has crispy potato sticks atop that I enjoy. It accompanies the sashimi quite well. The service is quick and efficient. They are always able to get your order to you in about 5 – 10 minutes, which I find great. Especially when you’re wanting a quick lunch or snack on the go, this place definitely makes that possible.

It’s not too bad a place to get sushi and other entrees from, but I think the prices are a bit too steep and the quality and quantity could be a little better. But this is one of many eateries at the Windward Mall to check out. I thought the service was fairly good and efficient.

Eh. It was ok. My nigiri was still really thin and my meal all together was expensive. All I got was an ahi lover bento and California maki. I was hoping this ninja sushi was better than the other one. Taste wise it was ok. Nothing special. I’ll only eat here if I have a bad sushi craving.

Killing time cause of traffic i must say that this place is awesome. The quality of food, presentation, and fast and friendly service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone hanging out at the mall. The guy at the front counter was super friendly and he displayed what customer service 101looks like.

I always stop here when I’m looking for something quick and healthy to eat at the mall. Service is pretty quick, staff is friendly, and sushi is good. Sign up for their birthday club and you’ll get a free meal on your birthday. That’s pretty sweet!

If you’ve got the craving Ninja will do. Nothing terribly special. Taste is okay. Today I had the Spicy ahi donburi. A bit pricey as far as spicy ahi bowls. A little light on the spicy ahi. All together a rather small bowl. The spicy sauce they drizzle on top overwhelmed the whole dish. It was okay to stop the craving at the moment but left you wanting to go somewhere better and have a good sushi lunch.

Great place for a quick lunch or dinner for those of you sushi lovers. It’s a bit pricey but the restaurant is cozy and there’s a movie always playing for the kids. You seat yourself and order at the front counter. Our food came around in less than 10 minutes and it tasted great! We ordered the Dragon Roll and Udon with a side of hot green tea. Wonderful dinner but like I said, it was pricey. We paid a little over $ 20 for everything.

Fast service… Best place to get your sushi fix at the Mall. Prices getting up there… but Windward Mall lease is nuts… as far as I heard… so blame WWM management. Spicy Ahi bento. one of my faves! Bowls are great too! Nice staff… is it me or does the Boss only hire somewhat attractive girls… Hey just sayin’. But yeah… Like this place!

This place is pretty decent if you just want to eat somewhere quick and around the area. I suggest the sushi bowls or the bentos because they are more worth it. Of course everyones favourite, spicy ahi, is pretty good here. The portions aren’t huge for the price but eh its alright if your grandmother is paying.
