T&T Nails and Beauty Salon

It’s my second time here for a pedicure and I got lucky with Aloha! She gives AWESOME pedicures if you are into deep tissue massages! Definitely coming back to her again!
Update: FYI, they charge an extra $ 1 if you use your credit card and bring cash for tip bc you can’t add it to your card! I was soooo embarrassed that I couldn’t tip Aloha! Don’t worry Unilocalers, I promise I’ll make it up to her!

This is my favorite salon on the Windward side. Everyone is always very friendly and they always do a great job. Only downside is parking — I tried to go this morning and the entire lot was full as well as the side street.

Love this place!!! What can I say always great service. My Spa pedi was awesome the longest massage ever. My nails were looking fierce after they were refilled and reshaped than the dark burgundy polish to top it all off. If you are on the windward side stop by you won’t be disappointed

She is personable, knowledgeable, and just plain good at doing my nails and eyebrows. She does a great pedicure, you name it. Kathy does good eyebrows too! I strayed away from getting gel polish for almost a year because the tips of my nails were peeling up, causing my nail to be very brittle. Sandy let me know that it was because I wasn’t coming in to get the gel off and was instead waiting for the polish to lift naturally over time and exposure to water etc. and then She hooked me up with some DOPE nails! They look like candy paint on an old chevy nova! She also will give you an honest opinion when you ask «Do you think this color/​fade will good on me?» hahaha. I’ve had nothing but compliments since I left her station.
Tip: bring cash for tip if you’re going to use your card. Also $ 1 fee for card

I’ve had a good experience every time I’ve been to T&T Nails. It’s definitely not the best nail salon I’ve ever been to, but I think it’s the best option on the Windward side. Relatively clean and usually very little wait. I’ve tried a few places in Kailua but usually end up back at T&T. I’ve only ever had a gel manicure and/​or a regular pedicure, so I can’t speak to any of their other services.

My second time coming i was super excited to get my nails done here. But sadly it wasn’t tweety, it was some girl name «Aloha».
Well anyways when I walked in I was planning on doing a mani pedi however I was looking at the time and I changed my mind but my BF kept insisting I should get it one. Once I changed my mind Aloha started saying we’re kids we ain’t going to do it cause it’s expensive. She went on with a few of her coworkers for maybe about 20 minutes. They spoke in Vietnamese. They said, «if the pedi was $ 20 she would have done it and my BF said it was to expensive.» Clearly my BF didn’t say that. Then aloha and some guy added, «there kids they don’t have much money.»
Then one of the nail tech (Sandy) told my BF, «what do you do your nails are so dirty.» Obviously that’s the reason why he’s getting it clean.
In the end I confronted her that I could understand it’s not that it’s expensive it’s that I don’t have time.
I told one of the girl as I was paying. Her coworker didn’t even cared about customer service she looked at me and said, «tell her then». I said it’s okay you can tell her since Aloha was with another customer. I walked out then her coworker followed me being defensive saying, «we didn’t mean it or it wasn’t bad about it.»
Bottom line is this place will judge you in Vietnamese if you change your mind. Just so happen I could understand everything they said.
I would NOT recommend this nail place at all. No considerations.

They have bad customer service, took my girls and they just don’t interact with them. Then they didn’t even notify my girls that they were done… The only person I think was good was kim… She had good service and she performed well. They spoke their language which is rude, probably shit talking and what not so unprofessional… My husband got a pedi and she just left him on the chair didn’t even let him know he was done she just up and left him there.

Reported to Department of Sanitation today due to employee named Alex with severe eye infection working with patrons. Dirty shop and rude employee. Was treated poorly when ask to honor Living Social vouchers. Worst nail shop experience of my life.

my mom treated my daughters and I to a pedicures right before Christmas.
They were very accommodating at fitting us all in and scheduling us at the same time.
My daughters who are 6&8 were treated gently and had a fun experience.
Tweety was my tech and she did an excellent pedi on me. She pays attention to details and always checks if you are happy with your experience at the time.
What I am especially impressed with is the gel polish. It costs a little more but sooooo worth it.
I had the service done right before Christmas. It is now February and my French pedi is still looking great.
Another thing I really liked is that after every pedi, I saw techs scrubbing basins and cleaning them before the next client. Some places just drain and refill…(yuck).
I highly recommend this nail salon.

Been coming to T&T nails for years so I have my VIP card which gives me discount Each time. They have Friendly workers and a clean environment. Pedi Chairs are constantly being changed out and updated. My favorite technicians there are either Daniel, Katie or Alex. Daniel is fast and he doesn’t make your acrylic nails fat, he puts the perfect amount of powder & he is good at designs and flowers. Make sure to make your appointment early. Also love that they open early 9 and close late 7.

Tried this place for the first time– got a full set. Ever heard of an extra charge for a different nail shape?! I’ve never had to pay extra for asking the nail tech to shape my nails a certain way. But that’s how I wanted my nails so I paid extra anyways. The shape was not great, nor was the gel polish quality. I left with bumps and bubbles on my nails. My friend that came with me, had a nail pop off only 3 days later! And 2 weeks later she was down 4 nails. After about 3 weeks I decided to go to my regular place and get my nails fixed– a total of 7 nails were lifting! My usual guy had a hard time fixing the botch job they did.

I love Sandy! She’s great. Super experienced pays attention to detail and always makes sure my nails are perfect. Gel mani/​pedis last long, doesn’t lift or chip, also my nails never feel thin or brittle afterwards. Plus she’s super cool and fun to talk to. I’m happy I found her!

Leaving a review after my second visit. I came on Monday to get a mani/​pedi and I left satisfied. I’ve been to a number of nail salons where I have felt the service was half-a**ed and very hurried. I am pleased to say this was not the case during this visit. I received my manicure from Alex and my pedicure from Tweety and both were very good. I did not feel as if I was being rushed at all and they took their time to make sure my nails came out well.
After my first visit I was hesitant to return, however, I feel more comfortable retuning after this visit. Thank you Alex and Tweety.

Had the best foot massage by Sandy! And Stephen did an awesome job on my fill! I LOVE this place!

I came in and they took me in right away. I give them one star because I got a full set acrylic and they were horrible. I could see the scuff marks on my nails. The technician painted the French tip on and she missed a couple spots. The nails lasted five days! Five. Really. Definitely not coming back again. My nails were lifting and chipping by the third day.

I had the best experience at T&T with Sandy! She was super friendly & paid attention to every detail with my nail care & design. I’ve never been so in love with my nails before! They look absolutely perfect, I can’t wait to show them off at my upcoming baby shower. I will definitely be coming back & making an appointment to see Sandy again! SIDE NOTES: make sure to make an appointment ahead of time because they do get really busy (unless you don’t care who you get &/​or don’t mind waiting) & they do charge an extra $ 1 if you pay with card so bring your cash along with you

Thank you Daniel for my beautiful nails! I have several of my favorite techs that do great in different services. Tweety does great Gelish nails and I love her work and I love Aloha’s pedi’s. Most of the time I walk-​in at the spare of the moment but because I know they’re always busy, I should always remember to make an appointment so I get my favorites. First time got a mani and pedi done here. This guy who did me obviously doesn’t know how to do nails. I’m sure the other guys were good but not the one I went to. I wanted a faded glitter gel and when he finished, my tips on all my nails were not painted all the way. And when he massaged my hand, it smelled like smoke after. Im assuming he smokes cause it was all over my hands and arms. So nasty… So I ask another girl to fix it and she did. How my nails look after all of that, definitely not worth what I paid. The only reason why I didn’t give them a 1 star is because of the girl who did my pedi. She was great! And while sitting down getting my pedi, it seemed everyone getting a pedi seem happy. Sorry but 1^st and last time at this place. I’ve had better Manis done for cheaper.

This is the BEST NAIL SALON that I have ever been to. And believe me, there are quite a few just on the Windward side alone. I have been coming here since the store opened in 2006. And I have no doubts that I will be coming here until either, I am gone or I can no longer come here.
Thanks to everyone who does and has worked here. It is not the easiest profession, thank you for putting up with some of the mean-​spirited clients that leave mean hurtful reviews, that should have been worked out with management before taking it on a small business review. These reviews mean the world to small independent businesses and before you leave a bad one, just take a moment, and talk to either the owner or upper management and deal with them personally to solve your problem.
