Revised my review down two stars.
I went to Dominick’s to have them replace the air suspension on the ’95 Town Car with coil springs. I knew the cost of the parts and the time it should take to do it and Dominick’s quote was way out of line.
I found another, closer independent auto repair shop to do the job. The bottom line is the total parts and labor for the job (I sourced the parts from Amazon myself, for ½ of what they would have cost locally) came to almost exactly 25% of the quote from Dominick’s.
I don’t know whether they just didn’t really want the job, weren’t really sure what the job entailed, or just wanted to make their next car payment from the job, but I’ll not return.

Sadly, before my last visit to Dominick’s, I would have given them a very enthusiastic 5 stars. And I’m disappointed to say that this review has nothing to do with their quality of service. I own three vehicles and have gone there many times for minor work and state inspections. As the previous reviewer mentioned, they really don’t try to talk you into work you don’t need. Their prices are reasonable. And the staff has always been incredibly friendly. Five stars, thumbs up!
So, what’s with the 1 star then, right? Well, here’s what happened…
I dropped my vehicle off there one morning before work to have it inspected. Had a co-​worker pick me up/​take me back to get it as I’ve done many times before. It passed inspection, no problems, went on about my world.
But the next day, one of their employees DROVE TO MY HOUSE, walked up to my door, and accused me of backing into his vehicle and causing a shit ton of damage to his front bumper.
What??? At this point, a whole slew of things were going through my mind:
1. How did I (allegedly) hit a car and not know it?
2, How did this guy get my address?
3. Why is this guy AT MY HOUSE???
He said they had footage from a security camera (they didn’t). He said the owner gave him my information (scary).
So there was a lot of talking, a lot of looking at his vehicle and a lot of looking at my vehicle. But given the type of damage to his car and the complete lack of as much as a smudge on mine he later admitted in a phone call that it was all a big misunderstanding. Wow, ya think?!?
So, here’s my final two cents. Dominick’s: Great Service. But complete lack of respect for the privacy of their customers, and an employee that may be making his next house call to YOUR home.
Something to consider; I will never go back.

Trust these guys! They will do a fine, thorough job at a very reasonable price.
