I had a balayage done here and my hair was the same when I left the salon. However, the owner was very kind and accommodating to help resolve the issue!

One of the best in KC! Gorgeous salon, and most importantly an experienced staff. I have blonde hair and I am very picky about color. Nancy and Colby are both amazing! Love their selection of products which you can’t find in other salons. You will love the laid back vibe, and eclectic décor!

I love this salon and Erin is wonderful. I was looking for a new colorist who had experience with partial highlights and balayage. I found this salon by researching and reading reviews online. They were all accurate. Erin is a senior stylist and very skilled in her trade!
I also got introduced to the Oribe hair products line here… amazing stuff!

I love going to Vincent + Greer. Erin is my regular stylist, but I saw Kate while Erin was on maternity leave and I could easily recommend both ladies. My cuts grow out incredibly well on my fine, wavy/​curly hair, which is very important to me. The atmosphere in the salon is laid back and very approachable. Give it a try!

I can’t say enough great things about this salon! My first visit was the best salon experience I have ever had! I was tired of foils and wanted bayalage, and Nancy killed it. I truly can’t wait to go back! The salon works as a team and you can really tell. Shelby gave me a wonderful blowout and I was on my way to a fun Friday night. If you have curly hair, come here and see Kate! She taught me great new hair care and styling tricks, and I’ve never been happier with a hairstyle. I’m pretty upset I am moving away from Kansas City because Kate would be my regular stylist for SURE! I got an appointment right away and the salon prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and Kate was a doll. I would absolutely recommend!

Came here after trying 3 other salons looking for someone who could actually do balayage. They got me in with kate, who was adorable and had a great personality. I had to bring my 4 year old daughter, and she was super accommodating. The salon is very cool. They have a very team oriented approach to scheduling and color formulating, which i appreciated.
Kate even cut my daughter’s hair while i was processing, we cut 7 inches off!
Most importantly, she did a phenomenal job on my color, using the balayage technique! Soooo happy i found this salon.

I have always had bad luck and/​or bad experiences with other salons and stylists. From first contact and booking until the moment I left, I had a wonderful experience with Vincent and Greer! Reception was more than happy to work with me via email and was able to book me with Colby for a curly cut. Nancy requires a 5 week advance booking, but my hair could NOT wait.
The salon was relatively easy to find. The interior is inviting, intimate and unique. Colby was absolutely fantastic and asked me all the right questions and explained her curly cut approach. She was easy to talk to (I normally loathe salon small talk) and fun. She worked with what I had and what I wanted/​needed and did a great job — probably the best curly cut I ever had. She was more than willing to blow dry my hair instead of a curly set. Some places I have been to will only curly set a curly cut, but Colby gave me the option and was happy to blow it out. She stayed with me from start to finish, even washed my hair herself and showed me products (with no pressure to buy anything). My blow out came out perfect and I did not feel rushed at all (my hair takes forever to dry).
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend the salon to anyone in need of a great hair experience! Colby was absolutely delightful and talented and great with wavy hair! I am sure everyone there is just as great! I never write reviews, but was so pleased with the whole experience, I felt it was only necessary!

Love love love this salon! Vincent does an amazing job! I get numerous compliments on my hair, and the salon experience is relaxing, fun, and most of all comfortable. Vincent is truly an artist, and it is so comforting knowing that this is his life’s work, and he takes it very seriously! Great exclusive products, great color line, and wonderful location in the heart of Waldo. Also has a great website booking tool, which I love to use! Nancy and Erin are also awesome! If you are looking for a salon with seasoned experts, that don’t take themselves too seriously, this is the place for you!

I’ve now followed Nancy to her third salon and fourth location — that should tell you all you need to know. I continue to be a huge fan of her cuts both because she’s fantastic company during the experience, but because she takes her job very seriously while still having a lot of fun doing that. She remains a real student of her craft, improving her techniques and keeping her eyes on pictures and people for new ideas. My only complaint is that everyone else has definitely figured this out, and it’s getting to be some work to get an appointment in since I don’t plan far enough in advance.
If you can’t get in to Nancy, no worries — everyone else leaves the salon looking fantastic, too. I’ve seen great work by her business partner, the Vincent to her Greer; and they take the other staff members are enthusiastic and professional and a great addition to the crew.
The new space is a pleasure, as well — upstairs from Kennedy’s and the Coffee Girls in the new, modern building at 75^th and Waldo, the space is bright and sunny, busy without being cluttered… and it smells fantastic, what I look for in my favorite salons.
While this salon is further away from Nancy’s last (and that was further away from the first), I’ll keep tacking on those extra minutes for such a great experience — and great haircut.
