If this sounds like a scathing review from an unhappy customer; it is. I’ve been eating at PS for years, but only a couple times at this location and each time leaves me remembering why. The staff here is abrasive, rude, and quite honestly — they don’t give a FF about anything. At my recent visit, they told me they ran out of the size of pizza I ordered, so they brought me two smaller ones. Minor infraction but two thoughts: 1) I guess that means their crust isn’t made fresh or in-house and 2) I think it’s better to check with the customer first instead of just telling them what you did when you bring their«revised» order. Next, it was so cold in the restaurant my entire party ate with their coats and gloves on. It’s 50 outside, but feels colder inside. Also, it took 45 minutes at lunch to get one pizza which I find inexcusable — especially for a one topping. Watching other tables, each order came out incorrect or «revised» from the kitchen. Also, there was a young child busing tables. Suffice it to say, this will be my last time at this location. Turn a friggin heater on, fire all of your staff, and start over.

For those from the Northland, we remember the old metro north mall location and cannot resist the ‘pink stuff’(delicious salad dressing). A small side salad, greasy pepperoni pizza and a cold Root Beer might cost $ 12 bucks but the taste and freshness is great. Their new location is clean and never busy and the staff are always friendly. TV’s are on each wall, a maze of booths means it’s noisy but you’re not always going to be elbow to elbow with your neighbors while eating so I highly recommend this location if you’re in need if a quick pizza craving cure.

Since we’ve moved, my wife and I have enjoyed trying the pizza options in our area. Where we lived before, we didn’t have access to any of the local chains and were stuck with Pizza Hut or Papa John’s. We recently visited Pizza Shoppe and I don’t think we’ll look elsewhere. What a great place! When we visited, we found a large, very clean sports bar-ish feel to the place, which was exactly what I wanted. We sat down and got our order in. It wasn’t super busy so it wasn’t loud or anything. We got to enjoy a good conversation before our pizzas arrived. I ordered a Butcher Block and my wife got a Round Table. Oh, yes! The perfect pizza! Great toppings, lots of cheese, and a nice, crispy crust! Yum! This place reminds me a lot of a family-run pizza place back home. I still crave that pizza at times and Pizza Shoppe satisfied that craving. This is the closest thing I have found to that wonderful pizza of my memory. Thank you for stirring great memories and serving great pizza.

Love me some Pizza Shoppe! We sat in the perfect spot that let us tune into the Royals game and also a football game that was playing at the same time. The service was quick and awesome as well as the pizza being fresh and beer being cold. I was wrong about the beer special… On Saturdays they have $ 6 pitchers! WHOOP!(Also served with frosty mugs) :) I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like the pink stuff, so you should come here too!

Here’s the story. I’ve been going to Pizza Shoppe for YEARS… love the lunch sized pizza with a iceberg lettuce, fake bacon bits and topped with a few pepperoni slices AND a soft drink for $ 8.00. Couldn’t eat the rest of my pizza and asked for a box to take home the leftovers. WHOA. opened the box and a cockroach the size of Texas was nested in the box. I screamed threw the box on the floor and was comped for my meal. Since i’m a pizza lunch lover I faithfully went back for many years and asked for a clear plastic baggie to make sure I didn’t get an unwanted four legged protein surprises. EEEKKKKK3 stars for lunch pizza…

When you think of this place you think of the neighborhood hang out. It’s been this way since the beginning. It’s the place where you get your first job, the place where you take your first date. It’s the place you go after the game its the place you go to plan school reunions its the place you return to when you visit from out of town. The staff greets you with a smile and reconizes you as a regular customer and all during this time the quality of the pizza and the taste has alwas been the same. A place i call home
