There are electronic stores all throughout the city and this is one that I would only go to if I was in the area of happened to live somewhat close.
I do happen to love somewhat close and, therefore, have been to this Radio Shack multiple times for multiple reasons. Everything from purchasing of an AppleTV remote battery to an AppleTV itself to basic electronics shopping. The service that was provided by the manager when I was looking for that remote battery was impeccable; she even helped me test my old battery to ensure that was not the problem. The AppleTV I purchased here has never given me any problems and in fact I still use it today!
As far as the other products that are sold here, I wouldn’t touch them (or buy them) with a ten foot pole! I know that many of the electronics they sell here are subpar and that coupled with the fact that the managers are the only employees who know anything about electronics lead me to give this store a three star review.
They earn 1 star for selling Apple products at a slightly reduced price, they earn their 2^nd star for having competent management, and they earn their 3^rd star for their location! They lose 1 star for having incompetent regular employees and they lose a 2^nd star for not having a well-​kept store with a decent amount of selection (& many products that are below average).

Okay so let’s start with the basics here,
1. Customer Service– When I ask if you have something and you respond «It should be in the back» I will generally leave the same way I came in only twice as fast. You work here, I don’t. If I am asking where something is and you know where it is walk me to it. If you don’t say so and don’t let me waste 5 minutes going over every inch of «the back».
2. General Knowledge of Electronics– If I ask do you carry relays? Don’t ask me what a relay is in radioshack. Ever
3. Selection– About 10 years ago I could remember going to radioshack and being overwhelmed at the amount of goods they carried. This location is stripped down to nothing that is useful and people working that are even more useless.
I will NEVER return to this store again, not even for batteries.
