Royal Nail Spa

I NEVER write reviews but the service was so bad I couldn’t help it. I went to get my nails done on Sat Feb 20, 2016. I walked in and the environment was nice, clean and I loved the décor. Everyone seemed very nice and I didn’t have to wait for the appointment I already scheduled. I then sit down and the Man that sits in the second chair directly on the left started to do my nails. Right away I was cut with the drill. I was nicked a few times after that because the man was going so fast. I sat through it all and ended up getting a bright pink gel polish. As soon as he puts the top coat on a black streak comes out with it. He wiped the brush off and continued. Everything looked great at the end. Despite the drill incident it looked nice and I was happy.
2 days later I wake up and there is a brown film over each of my nails. I came back to the shop on Tuesday ²⁄₂₃ and told them I needed re-​polished because of the brown film. He took a look and saw it and shook his head. He was finishing up with someone else so I waited. As soon as I sat down he starts going so fast that he cuts my second finger so bad I jumped and screamed. He said Oh I’m sorry then he continues to go so fast he nicks me at least TWICE on each finger.
By this time I am SO upset because all he is doing is going so fast to get me out of there that he is doing a poor job. He didn’t even take off all of the pink polish before he wanted to start polishing with the new color. I then asked him if he could take ALL of the previous gel off before he starts polishing. By this time he was visibly upset that I am requesting him do this. He then gets the drill back out and starts going SO fast again that he chipped part of the acrylic nail off one finger. He also filed my left hand shorter than the right hand. When I asked him to re fill the portion that he had just chipped he got very frustrated and starts talking to another woman in a different language. He then paints my nails so fast I have gel on the skin of EVERY finger.
This is the WORST experience I’ve had in 15 years of getting my nails done. It’s so upsetting because I was nothing but nice and polite and just wanted my nails corrected. All he was worried about was going as FAST as he could to get me out of there. Very poor quality and poor service from this man.

One of the best shellac manicures I have ever had (and I have had a lot!). Tony was so detailed and my nails look great! The other staff members thanked me for coming in. Can’t wait to return to have a pedicure.

I can not begin to say enough good things about the excellent service and very adept skills of the kind people of Royal Nail Spa in Parkville Missouri. It is worth every mile you drive and penny you spend. I am a life long customer from here on out

Had a mani and pedi today by Mi. My hands and feet felt and looked amazing after she was done. I would highly recommend this salon.
