Managers family is involved with towing vehicles from parking lot during sports games across the street at The Kansas City Royals and Kansas City CHIEFS games. I witnessed a spotter in the parking lot waiting until people leave and then calling tow trucks to tow off customers cars. Signs are posted in such a way that make it easy for a unsuspecting person to fall for this trap. I tried to ask the manager what the protocol was for towing cars. Her uncle told her the mgr to call the police because I questioned the legitimacy of what they had going on. When asked how they determined whose car was whose. They became irate. This operation is a scam. They have gotten away with this for a long time. Avoid this location like the plague.

It was a beautiful December evening and all was calm. I had just got done watching the UFC Prelims when I had a Friday night craving for some Taco Bell. As I arrived I noticed a slight haze lingering over the parking lot and only two cars dared to tempt the surrounding criminals… I mean locals. I should have listened to my gut(later on I would). Not being adventurous enough to leave my vehicle I opted to gamble on the drive thru, where tempting fate would be my second mistake. As I pulled up to the speaker I was asked to hol’ on… and so I did… and did… and did… after five minutes, two apparent local drug deals and a pot smoking employee later(at a Taco Bell that was empty on a Friday night at 8:30 pm) I was finally and politely asked«Whut ya wunt?» Confused by this new language I decided to use my handy Google voice app for deciphering ebonics and was able to figure out that I was being asked what I would like to order. Thank goodness for their picture menu, which normally I would believe to be for the customer, but here at this Taco Bell I’m leaning towards the decision of it being for the employees(community service workers with less than 180 court hours left). As I described what the picture looked liked to the individuals, yes individuals, I was finally able to get around the ebonic language barrier using Google again(thank-you Google). Here is my third and final mistake. Paying for what I hope was food. I had kept my order simple, 2 tacos, a quesorito, a Dr. Pepper and a nacho bell grande. At this point I was eventually… greeted in the native language with the wrong order TWICE! and not to mention putting the Nacho Bell Grande in a paper bag sideways. Please explain to me why you think you deserve $ 15.00 an hour, when I barely make that, speak proper English and am good at my job. It’s hilarious to me that we can teach a monkey to be an astronaut, we can teach a monkey to break the sound barrier, but apparently Kristin the manager at the Taco Bell across from the stadiums can’t teach you to make a taco.

It’s comical how bad this Taco Bell location is. Originally everything was pretty standard. They took out order and reconfirmed what we had ordered. So far everything is A ok. We pull up to the window and they take our money. After a reasonable amount of time they deliver out order. I check the bag and over half of it is missing. Three tacos and a nachos bell grande. We wait and wait trying to get someone’s attention from inside. No exaggeration, we were waiting there for over five minutes before someone came to the window. She gave us another total for another order. I told her that we hadn’t received our food and quickly rattled off what was needed to make us whole. She disappears and tells someone. We finally get the second half of out order after, no exaggeration, another seven minutes of waiting in line. My math is off on one of those accounts though, because the entire interaction from placing out order to receiving our food took twenty minutes. The absolute cherry on top has to be that we ordered hard shell tacos… and received soft tacos. The staff here doesn’t take pride in their work, and it shows. We were the only car in the line when we got there. By the time we left there was six cars that I counted at a minimum.

I was at this location and my truck got towed due to a football game. Don’t go on game day they don’t care if your a customer or not they will tow your car.
