So I heard great praise about their steak special they run a few times a week, but it was a MAJOR let down and more expensive than most steak specials I’ve enjoyed. The steak was 85% fat, dry, not seasoned, or good quality. They wouldn’t make me a loaded baked potato even though they have the ingredients to do so. Which the potato could of used because it was slightly over cooked on the bottom. The best part of the steak dinner was the garlic breadstick. Let’s just say I won’t be back here, which I’m pretty sure of fine with the locals/regulars. It definitely feels like a locals/regulars only type of dive bar.

My grilled chicken wrap was just okay. The lettuce overwhelmed the small amount of chicken. I enjoyed the generous amount of tasty tater tots, which were perfectly cooked. The service was attentive, but the bar still smelled of smoke from years past.

My buddies and I like to go here every so often after playing golf across the street. Foods great. I like the catfish and roast beef. Definitely an older crowd. My playing partner and I rolled in there one night after a late round and they had live music. Again, food is great but I can get cheaper beer over at the golf course. I’m sure I’ll go back many times.

Good neighborhood bar, ok for those who live down south. I wouldn’t go there to watch a game though, as they have small TV’s. the food is good, and the staff is extremely nice.

We come on Saturday nights to play poker. I was surprised how good the food is here. Saturdays are taco nights and they are tasty and cheap. For as small as it is, it has a good selection of beer, but if you are a wine drinker, there’s only one red and one white. Waitresses are all very nice and attentive. Great little spot

Yes, great neighborhood dive bar. Food is greasy, beer is cold, and the regulars are drunk. Belly up to the bar and make some new friends.

This place is the definition of a Hole in the Wall bar; which is actually a pretty good thing. This is like the bar that time forgot except that the people still grew older. My gf and I went there recently for dinner(we are both late 20s) and we had to be the youngest folks in there by about 15 – 20 years. They seemed to have some great drink specials going on during the week. We both opted to get burgers and they were actually pretty good for the $ 6.95 price point. Cheap food, cold beer, and good service. A nice little gem of a bar tucked away in a strip mall.

I guess my review would be in between Ian’s and Sean’s. If you want a neighborhood dive to swill beer and knock back a couple shots, then this is your place. It’s not a bad place to catch the game and shoot the bull either. The staff has been really friendly and very helpful. The food has been good. I tried the Reuben, but what YOU have got to try(if you choose to accept this challenge) are the homemade deep fried… JAPS! Don’t ask me cuz Ida no. I will say they are not your momma’s poppers. The jelly is ¾ of why you want these bad boys in your pie hole. They are beer badder deep fried with the usual cream-cheese. The jelly is amazing with habanero in it. I know what you are thinking, but it is NOT going to be obnoxiously hot. Your face will be intact when you leave Daily Limit. That is as long as you dont give the bartender any lip. LOL

Locals bar with greasy typical«bar food.» A couple of benches out front for the die hard smokers. Belly up to the bar if you can… regulars are plastered to the stools. They do have live music. Not a destination, more an accident.

In the vast suburbia of Kansas City, there are few places to go and have a drink that aren’t totally corporate or filled with meat heads. Daily Limit is a crazy exception. The place is a literal oasis of cheap drinks and darkness in the middle of strip shopping center. I’m sort of afraid to even write this review because it’s such a great«hidden gem.» But you’re not going to head out for drinks at the Red Bridge shopping center any time, are you?
