Yum Boutique Bakery

Yum is right! The shop is small but very charming.
I had my sights set on purchasing cannoli. I wasn’t disappointed. The cannoli was some of the best I have had. I prefer to not have fruit in the filling and limited chocolate. These fit the bill. The filling was cinnamon-​y without fruit or chocolate. There were chocolate chips scattered at the end but definitely did not detract from the shell or filling.
There are a lot goodies; cupcakes, cakes, cannoli, truffles. I hope the owner, who was very friendly, does well. I am sold on the cannoli. I look forward to stopping by again.

There is always something new going on in here! Such a cute little shop. The woman who runs it takes time to get to know regulars and people who live in the neighborhood, too!

Maybe 5 stars is a stretch because I’ve only tried one thing, but the Oatmeal Cream Pie I experienced this afternoon may have really earned 6 or 7 stars!

This place is lovely.
Carrot cake: A must. Moist and sweet.
Pumpkin Cake: Delicious. Perfectly seasoned, moist, and tasty.

After my boyfriend and I indulged in some great pizza from Topp’d, we continued to satisfy our taste buds by searching for some cupcakes.
We attempted to hit up a couple of spots we found on Unilocal on W 39^th, but failed to find stores that were open. He and I were almost ready to just call it quits, when we spotted a little bakery called Yum. Too easy.
When we stepped in, we were immediately engulfed in pastel colors, antiques, and a mouth-​watering display of sweets. It took a solid 4 minutes before we were finally able to make our choices, but we ended up getting a green tea scone, and a white small donut with coffee glaze and chocolate sprinkles. The donut cake was so fresh and all of the flavors were amazing.
I was the first to add the business to Unilocal,first to review, and certainly going to be the first to go back and get another round!
