Delicious greek food. Liked my chicken. The tzasiki(sp?) sauce was really great, the salad was fresh with even tasty onion which is always a good sign of a quality salad to me! Wish the salad had dressing as an option, but I was fine. The dolmatha was amazing! They forgot the one in my husbands plate though. The hummus I ordered on the side was tasty and their pita bread made it even better. Will be back — fair enough price! Cant beat the beach side location and easy roadside access in Kapaa!

The food was good(chicken gyro), and with a lot of flavor. But we had to wait a long time(10 – 15 min) to get our food. Then when I got my food it was overly stuffed and so hard to eat. It was extremely messy and not a traveling type of food. I couldn’t finish it because it was leaking everywhere and got all over my hands/pants when I tried to take it with me in the car.

The food is GREAT! Best Greek food on Kauai by far and the staff is wonderful to! Your right next to the beach, and there’s even tables with umbrellas if it rains Go check it out(:

Amazing Greek food truck. Had the gyro which was juicy and delicious. Also got the falafel pita, definitely worth it. Just make sure google maps takes you to the new location. He used to be in Wailua but recently moved to Kapaa town near some other food trucks.

While my gyro was VERY good, I can only give 3 stars because of the price. For $ 13 I assumed it came with a side salad or rice or… anything. Most expensive gyro I’ve ever ordered. It was large, but not $ 13 large.

Wow! If I could bring George and his truck to California, I would! Let me start off by telling you about his organic, delicious, and HEALTHY shaved ice! I got coconut and guava flavored. I thought I was in heaven. The next day, I wanted more, so I got watermelon and guava(I love guava) again… heavenly. For the remaining of our one week trip to Kauai, we made sure to have this place 5 times! My husband and I got a lamb gyro wrap and a fish sandwich. They are so tasty and filling! I wish I could rate 100 stars! You won’t regret this place!

He’s a friendly guy who makes all of the syrups for the shaved ices by scratch. I personally got guava and coconut. It was delicious.

I’m disappointed that I didn’t get a chance to order any food cause the other reviews look great. After visiting the falls we decided to get some shaved ice. This place makes their own syrup with real fruit and all natural organic items. I got guava flavored and I could even taste the tiny guava seeds from the fruit! It was sweet the ice was very soft. Was definitely the best shaved ice we had on the entire island!

Very tasty burgers and fries, and very friendly proprietors. Covered area with picnic tables available to enjoy your lunch. Lots of chickens and peacocks in the area that will mooch. Some of the peacocks are a bit overly aggressive(snatched fries right out of our one year old grand daughter’s hand), so don’t be shy when shooing them away: they do respond to loud sounds. Don’t feed any of them, unless you want pals hovering over you for the rest of your lunch. They are down in Kamokila Village. I believe that you can eat at this lunch truck without having to pay the Village entrance fee, but check with the Kamokila folks. Would go down there again, just for the food!

Seriously– must try in Kauai! We heard about this food truck from a local singer/songwriter long before we ever headed to Kauai. We couldnt wait to try it and were staying right in Kilauea(seems he may have moved now ;-)) Our first attempt at getting our grub on was foiled by a so-Hawaiian«gone surfing, be back at 5ish» sign on the truck. We were disappointed but came back later to find them opening and BUSY. We fought the mosquitoes to enjoy the famous sweet potato fries and fish burger. The fries– so delicious and just melt in your mouth! We are still talking about this meal 10 months later, it was just THAT good.

Fantastic food! My husband got the lamb gyro burger and I got the Ooooh Nooo fish burger! Both were equally amazing! The fish burger was fresh and perfectly cooked. It was the perfect blend of local Hawaiian and Asian foods! Chef George was extremely friendly and you can tell he is a very talented chef. I also highly recommend the shave ice. He uses locally grown fruits instead of fake flavored syrups. The best shave ice by far!

I stopped here almost by accident. Went to see Opaeka’a Falls then checked Unilocal and found the Hawaiian Village of Kamokila where George’s food truck is. I had the Ono fish sandwich is was great! I also had a Hawaiian shaved ice and it was equally good. You could have made two meals out of the fish sandwich. The fish was hot and crispy and the flavor with the wasabi and kimchi was just right! If you are in the area go for it, if you are close go as well

It was ok… the dishes lacked something like maybe in need of some more spice or citrus. We had the ono burger(husband felt there was too much going on) I had the chicken gyro and the kids had chicken and fries and fish and fries. The fries were very good though. Drinks can only be purchased from inside the park so bring your own if you dont want to go in there. It would be nice if they had an umbrella or a little bit of a sheltered outdoor area because of the sporadic rain.

Great food truck !! Hard to find food trucks, that serve organic produce and food. I like the name, and the look of the truck, they have great food. We had been hearing about their lamb burgers for quite a while. Was excited about trying one. The server sommer was so nice and helpful! I definitely recommend finding a truck and trying it… We had them at the Kauai brewery on food truck night Thursday night, but their normal location is across from Kapaa fair next to Osukas furniture, north end off Kapaa town. We will be going back again.

My friend Sarah and I had the pleasure of finding this little hidden gem! If you’re planning on making a stop to check out Opaekaa Falls, then this food truck is a must! George was super friendly and even opened up his truck early so I could grab lunch before my way to the airport to catch my flight! I chose the Ono fish burger and could not be happier about it! It was loaded with local organic veggies and a delicious wasabi aioli… yummm! We also had to try the shave ice which was super fresh and naturally delicious! As a food truck foodie this is highly recommended and I will be mentioning it to anyone planning a visit to Kauai! :)

This place was hard for me to find so I called and George picked up and told me exactly how to get there. If you’re at Opaekaa falls, go down towards Kamukila Hawaiian Village and drive all the way down a little dirt road to the parking lot and you should see the food truck. This was my last meal before I headed to the airport and it was amazing. My friend and I both had the Ono Fish Burger($ 13.50). It’s a tempura coated fried fish served with kimchi, nori, shoyu jelly, and greens on a poi bun. It’s one of the best fish burgers I’ve had and I really loved how the flavors came together. The fish was incredibly fresh tasting and just lighted coated and fried. It’d be great just to have this as a fish and chips dish too. We were the first customers of the day and I actually saw them start to set up. The order took over 10min but it’s probably because they were setting up still. They were really nice and gave us some samples of their shaved ice while we waited which was perfect for the hot day. Great food truck and definitely worth a trip out.

Excellent Greek food from a food truck! We had George’s lamb gyro and falafel pita sandwich. George isn’t stingy with the lamb and it was very juicy and tender. The falafel sandwich was also really good. Everything was well seasoned and flavorful. Next time I plan to try the sweet potato fries everyone talks about.

We found this gem on Unilocal via our food travels in Kauai. 5 stars is rare and too much to pass up. Eating here we found out why it was so deserved. George made everything to order and graciously split everything up for the family after we told him we’d be sharing everything. We got the falafel pita, chicken kebab, fish burger, and lamb platter. Falafel pita — wifey is middle eastern and has had the best stuff. we both enthusiastically approved and appreciated the spice level. it was even good cold, which is unheard of for falafel Chicken kebab — fresh, delicious, and well seasoned Fish burger — wow this was awesome. fresh, flaky, clean, substantial, and delicious Lamb platter — really nicely flavored and high quality lamb… and I usually don’t like lamb! Sweet potato fries — best I’ve ever had anywhere BREADFRUIT fries — first time we’d tried it and we are now hooked. wow was this different and awesome. will definitely attempt this if we can get a hold of breadfruit in MD Just a few notes — George fries everything up in coconut oil and that makes all the difference. Healthier and tastier, this gave the falafel and fish burger a really nice, light, clean taste, with a coconut dimension. We’ll surely be adapting this to our home cooking!
