Peter’s villa is absolutely terrific. I would rate it as a 5 star experience in every regard. The views are so incredible and Kapalua is just a great spot to relax.
I am sorry the other reviewer had a bag experience with the owner, Peter. I found him to be accommodating and responsive including letting us check out a bit later than usual. In any event, he is fine to deal with.
I highly recommend this unit and don’t concern yourself with one reviewers obvious bias.

Peter Laszlo is one of the worst people I’ve ever done business with. I hope you learn from my mistake.
I would not rate Peter’s level of professionalism to be acceptable. Our vacation was negatively impacted by two broken AC units, which Peter failed to communicate to us. While I understand that AC units malfunction from time to time, the way in which Peter handled this was appalling and rude.
In further detail, Our trip to one of his rentals was peppered with uncomfortable communication, argumentative phone calls from him, and a leaky and non-​functioning AC for several days (we visited in July and it was an average of 94 each day, with humidity). This «property manager» has a thing or two to learn about customer service.
Having verbally extended a refund that would have partially compensated for a very uncomfortable experience, Peter Laszlo accused me of being rude and arrogant for not wishing to discuss money in front of my family, on vacation. After laughing at me on the phone (while I was on vacation), he arbitrarily rescinded his tenuous refund an Email exchange and then accused me of throwing a fit. If calmly repeating yourself and saying «We can discuss this when I’m back from vacation» three times is throwing a fit, then stay away!
I wouldn’t ever rent from nor do business with this man again– on Maui or anywhere else. Read before you rent — the last Email of this exchange is the most amusing, enjoy!
