Came to the Aulani for happy hour and to our delight, we saw a great local band. Ben Vegas n Maila Gibson were very entertaining and had beautiful voices. They play a lot of the popular pop songs along with local favorites. They even played a Disney song which made all the kids dance for joy. I highly recommend checking them out if you are ever in the area. Well worth the drive.

Awesome looking pool with great view but super shallow and full of kids. I’m not surprised it’s full of kids(it’s a Disney resort) but considering there’s only one adult pool and it’s always shaded, it would be nice if this pool was deeper. But– great for kids!

Aulani is a huge resort full of family activities. gates are unlocked so anyone can walk through the resort and end up on their beach. The sand is amazingly soft and the view is amazing. The gift shop was expensive and minimal. The Wooden Mickey lamp retails for $ 250.

Pool heaven! The 5 year old loved the lazy river and the 3 year old loved the zero entry side. They were working on a toddler pool area while we were there, which will probably be amazing! My favorite was the infinity hot tubs with a view of the ocean.

Can’t complain much about Hawaii with its perfect weather. Although, this pool can be a bit cleaner. My daughter swam around the first time, and immediately screamed at me and said she saw some dead flies and spiders underwater. Besides that there is many flower debris all over. It’s ok for me but for little kids that don’t like to be dirty like my baby princess, they need to do a better job cleaning. Just one star off.

My kids had the best time of their life in Aulani. It is Disney in Paradise.

A ton of kids, crying kids, happy kids, tired kids! The boys are enjoying the slides, lazy river and water park. There’s a ton of inner tube. They have a good system with the entrances and a lot of exits. Heavily chlorinated water, my sons skin was so dry and tight he got soooo itchy. You do need googles, they will make your kids more comfortable in the water, maybe a little to comfortable where they won’t want to come out of the water! A ton of life guards on duty, heavily staffed in that department. The food and drinks was another story. The staff was extremely friendly and very happy to be working for Disney but it took a really long time to get a drink or order food. When you did it still look a long time to get a refill. A lot of seating space and area. The waterpark and lazy river seating area is always full. The beach side seating is beautiful and you can always find a great seat! But we are enjoying watching the kids have a great time in the sheshe water.

Pool, lazy river, & water slide with or with tubes, & kids water zone! The family definitely misses Aulani.

This is my second trip to Aulani and I really enjoy sitting by this pool. I have 4 instead of 5 stars cause I think the water is a little cold, if it is heated it is not warm enough. This is definitely a kid/family focused area however I have no kids and still enjoy it. The lazy river is a little too lazy, it would be nice to turn up the jets so the current was a little stronger. There are lifeguards covering every foot of the river but again it is kid-family focused. I really do enjoy Aulani and will come back any chance I get!

The pool is probably one of the best parts of Aulani! There are plenty of inner tubes for you to lounge on whether it be a 2 person one or 1 person one. The lazy river is pretty awesome since you can see a lot of the resort by just sitting in an inner tube, floating down the river. I like watching the people walk by. There are parts where people activate the colored water to shoot off at you and my son just loved that part! Also, there’s lots of waterfalls, bubbles, and fountains! There are 2 slides. One that requires a tube(open slide where you can see everything) and one that does not(it’s closed, dark, and really fast). There is no age limit but for the non tube one, it’s one person at a time. My husband said some random guy and his son went down even after the lady said no… wow, some people! Respect the rules! Jeez. Both of the slides are fun. We only took my son down the one requiring the inner tube because we can go down with him although there’s a 2 person limit. The line goes by pretty fast compared to Hawaiian Waters, even though there’s only 2 slides! I recommend coming here with your family… it’s tons of fun! You can only use the pool if you’re a paying hotel guest. They do give out bands when they swipe your room key. There’s a limit on the amount of bands. They do give you tons of towels if you request them. I would stay at Aulani just to use their pool. You should spend a lot of your time here if you’re a Hawaii resident because honestly, what else is there to do? Just a note… you can’t take your kids on the kiddie section of the pool. You can only have them go up there by themselves. I see that as a potential hazard… who is going to monitor your kids? I think parents should be able to watch their kids especially if they’re younger but apparently, Disney does not think that’s a good idea?!

Waikolohe Pool at Aulani is an 8,200-square-foot, zero-entry main pool. Waikolohe means«mischievous water» in the Hawaiian language. There is a free daily interactive character show called Shake-A-Shaka Pool Party where guests may join in the fun at a hip surf party that celebrates the popular Hawaiian pastime. We saw it at 1:30 pm but check with a cast member to verify the show time. See my pictures. TIP: if you want to watch the character show from the shade, find a table at Off The Hook, the poolside restaurant, and enjoy from a short distance away.

This, my friends is the crown jewel of the resort. The main attraction. For a resort on Oahu it’s as good as it gets! The pool is super fun! It is loaded splishy, splashy stuff to do! You can slide down one of the two fun slides. One slide is with the inner tube that empties into the lazy river. The other one is a closed tube(I almost freaked because I’m clausterphobic) and it is for one person at a time this one exits out to the Waikolohe pool. It is not the best slide ever but it is entertaining enough. The staff at the pool are on top of it. The towel pick up and wristband area people were very patient and kind. This is where you get a free vest for you child if needed. I didn’t notice staff walking around much until about 10am. Then we started getting we got some water refills and towel replenishing. I love that the resort is generous with the towels. The seating at the pool is plentiful. If you want prime seating go early. However know that if your seats are unattended for an hour staff will remove your items and hold them at the towel pick up area. I like that they inform us of this firsthand versus finding our after the fact. Also, there are cabana’s for rent for a fee. Make sure you check out the hot tubs! There is a stack infinity style one towards the ocean and another one by the bar. Unilocal31 Day Challenge #31/31 Gawd!!! I did it!!! 31 in 31 days!!! Holy!
