My first time eating here, my other half has been here before… I ordered the banana and strawberry crêpe with whipped cream(paid extra). My other half had the Koa omelette with fried rice(he added bell peppers, onions and spinach to his omelette). It was delicious! Not only were the portions large, but the deliciousness of the food complimented the price very well! I’m full off of 2 crepes(it comes with 3 crepes for an order) and very satisfying. Our server was very polite, I’m ashamed I didn’t get her name but she deserves this 5 stars Thank you, Koa pancake house Kapolei!

When I think of breakfast, I think this place! It has a great menu, you can customize it to your liking, it’s just great! It can be busy esp during breakfast and lunch time, and there’s limited seats so bring a friend to look for seats as you order! Hehe I went here yesterday for brunch around 11am. There was a line and we were hesitant to wait so we talked outside to debate where to go instead but 3 min later the line disappeared and there was 3 tables open! So we went inside to order… — Trio: ~$ 8.502 long bacon strips, 2 over easy eggs, 2 link sausages, and 3 buttermilk pancakes. 4⁄5 — Koa Omelette ~$ 9.25(mushroom, spinach, Portuguese sausage, and I asked for no cheese), with fried rice. Both tasted really good!!! The pancakes soak up the syrup and butter bc they’re so fluffy but that’s ok. 3 pancakes of average size was super filling esp with the other food it came with. Loved the koa pancake!!! So yummy and filling! The Omelette literally filled half my big plate and good amount of fried rice ! Service was great when I ordered. The lady was friendly and was smiling. The lady that brought our food however was kinda rude. Not verbally but she just kinda threw our food on the tables carelessly off the tray, not smiling, didn’t ask if we needed anything. She gave us napkins and plastic knives and forks and some ended on the table when she slid them off her tray which made the forks look dirty. Bleh. Seems like she didn’t wanna be there. Overall, foods great. Try it out :)

It’s Koa Pancake house. Delicious, huge portions, and easy on the wallet. Don’t waste money on the muck at hotels in Ko’olina. Aulani breakfast was a huge disappointment compared to Koa.

Breakfast is my thing. So naturally, I love this place! Their pancakes are filling and oh so yummy! My go to is the Koa Moco which consists of: Your choice of white, brown, and or fried rice Your style of eggs And a hamburger patty with corned beef hash! Topped with their savory brown gravy Broke da mouth!!! Portion sizes are HUGE Seating is limited inside but they do provide picnic style tables right outside for larger parties They are always busy, but also always very friendly Menu is HUGE and you can always add on sides They also take phone orders so call ahead if you’re in a rush!

Banana pancakes were bland. And high steaks omelette didn’t have much flavor; definitely needed salt and I hardly ever salt food. Restaurant was clean and presentable. Staff was friendly. If you need something quick and have time to stop rather than hitting up a McDonalds drive through, maybe this is for you. Food portions were a good size for the price.

I often eat breakfast at the Koa Pancake House. It is a local diner style joint with tons of breakfast options. I have never eaten lunch here, so this review is based merely on my breakfast experiences. The last two times I have eaten here I ordered the Koa Moko for $ 9.50. It’s a combo of corned beef hash, hamburger patty, two eggs, rice and GAO(gravy all over). The CBH and HP are pretty standard fare, but the gravy leaves a lot to be desired. I think it came from a jar. The portion is huge, so if you have insomnia eat this and you’ll be sawing Zzz’s in no time. The service is good and the joint is clean. I’m surprised to see lots of tourist in this joint. I’ll continue to eat here and perhaps try their lunch menu.

Great local spot for breakfast. The Koa omelette is to die for, and the fried rice is always on point. Staff here is awesome and very accommodating for any situation. There are many Koa pancake houses around the island, but the Kapolei Koa is my home away from home :) Don’t forget to try the sweet bread French toast with coconut syrup, or my grandpa’s favorite banana pancakes! Yummmm

Came here on a Sunday morning after deciding to avoid the wait from the crowd outside of ihop. It was not my first time here, but it’s also not a first choice or a place I’d regularly go. The inside seemed smaller than I remembered, but maybe because it was so crowded. There was a line. But that was the main reason we opted to eat here is because we were all hungry and didn’t want to wait for services. I ordered the spinach, bacon and cheese omelet. Which was satisfying. It comes with a side of pancakes. I asked the cashier if they add«white chocolate chips» to their red velvet pancakes and she said they didn’t but they could. So I thought I was getting red velvet pancakes with white chocolate chips. To my disappointment it was just regular«chocolate chip». So I mentioned to the server that I ordered white chocolate chips. She responded with, «yeah we don’t have white chocolate chips». So I wasn’t to thrilled about that because the cashier should’ve said just that. So I paid and extra $ 2.50 to have red velvet pancakes and and extra $ 1.75 to have chocolate chips. If I would’ve known they didn’t have white chocolate chips, I would’ve just got regular chocolate chip pancakes for my kids. My sister ordered the strawberry waffle, which I wish I took a picture of. It literally looked like a frozen waffle, thawed out with whipped cream and strawberries on it. It looked pale. I personally prefer melt in your mouth pancakes over waffles but waffles shouldn’t have the texture of a pancake. It didn’t look toasted at all. She ended up taking it back to actually toast it and box it to go. She checked it as soon as she got in the car, and it had a little browning to it like it was slightly toasted but it still was a soft texture. Not a terrible place to eat but I doubt I’ll be rushing back to eat there anytime soon.

Local. Inexpensive. Unpretentious. A local breakfast house situated in a mini mall. Welcome surprise; no frills, just good local and traditional breakfast menu. Alternative to MyCafe restaurant that has people waiting over 30 minutes for two eggs and toast. Savor the meal here at Koa, staff are pleasant and attentive. Surroundings need more upkeep to balance the purpose of being there for breakfast. Would I go back? yes. Favorite: Real Macadamia flavored pancakes

Nice people. The day we went it rained and it was very cold to be inside, so we sat outside. They have a good selection of foods. From breakfast to lunch.

First time here. A pancake house without the pancake house atmosphere. The place is small and crowded, so it doesn’t feel very relaxing. That’s not what I need in the morning. If the pancakes were the best, maybe it would be worth the trouble. However, judging by the airy, crumbly and dry red velvet«pancake», I wouldn’t say it was worth it. I felt as if I were eating a cake with no frosting. I could give it another shot and try the other pancakes, but honestly, I would rather not eat in what feels like a closet.

Friendly staff. Always busy during breakfast hours and weekends. Didn’t care much for the crepes. I was a little disappointed with the strawberry filling because it isn’t fresh strawberries.

Great customer service! Did a takeout since we were hungover from the night before, LOL! Only had to say my order once and she repeated everything back to me. When we got there, there was only on cashier ringing up people but since the line was moving quickly; we didn’t mind the wait. Once we got to the cashier, our food was ready! Well worth every bite

If there is anything that I enjoy totally, it is a good pancake. My adventure leads me the Koa Pancake House in Kapolei. I decided to tempt fate with a pancake that is dear to my taste buds in the Strawberry and Creamcheese Pancake along with the Koa Omelette. The omelette is full of Spinach, American cheddar, and Portuguese sausage I found both to be tasty and not lacking of anything. FYI, Skip the syrup and butter if you are ordering S &CC Pancake. It stands alone perfectly without them, but if breakfast isn’t your forte. They do have an excellent local lunch menu at reasonable prices too. This place from I have seen has good customer service but this place is packed from the very few drive-bys I have done(to go is an option). Well, I recommend this place for the food. You won’t be disappointed :)

I come from the east coast, where diners are at nearly every block. This is the closest place to a diner here and I love it. I usually get their egg benedicts. From their sides of potatoes to their toast. It all tastes great. Aside from the taste, the wait isn’t so long either. It was busy today, Sunday brunch time, 11am. There were a lot of people. Inside was full along with a line. I didn’t expect to eat for another 20 – 30 minutes after ordering. But to my surprise, I ate about 10 – 15 minutes after ordering. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick and great tasting breakfast place.

Service: They were all very polite to my friends and I. It was really busy at the time because we went during lunch and after the color run. Parking: Private lot with a lot of parking that they share with other businesses in that shopping center. Food: I wasn’t impressed with what I ordered but because I was so hungry I ate it all. I had fried rice which was ok to me, it usually tastes really good but there was no flavor. I also had an omlette that wasn’t that great.

If you’re looking for fast and easy take out breakfast instead of McDonalds or other fast food place then this is the spot! I love their 2 Portuguese sausage with one egg and fried rice! You can dine in as well as take out. Their portions are generous and I can be able to eat it for breakfast and lunch! Their coffee is not the greatest but I don’t come here for that.

I have a mixed feeling about this place. Koa pancake house is one of a few breakfast places in Kapolei so that’s a plus. They serve awesome pancakes. Fluffy and moist :) Their fried rice is okay. Kalbi tastes great but there is an inconsistency of how much meat you get every time. Sometimes you get very little meat. What I absolutely didn’t like about this place was that a lady started swinging and sweeping rugs right next to us, when we were still eating outside. I thought that was unsanitary and almost disrespectful. I’m sure she didn’t think anything of it and workers here are very nice, but I still wish it didn’t happen. But again I love their pancakes and my café across the street is usually crowded, so Koa pancake is a good alternative. I guess I just won’t go back around the closing time so I don’t have to eat around the dusts from their rug.

Macadamia nut pancake: 4 stars Delicious with chopped up macadamia nuts inside. If you like macadamia nuts then you would love this. Good sized portions here even for short stacked pancakes(3). Strawberry crêpe: 2 stars Came out very mushy & thick, not thin or tasty as a crêpe should taste like. Don’t order crepes here, its not what they’re known for. Service: A Friendly & nice with great recommendations. Décor: clean

There are better locations. I been to different koa pancake houses around the island, and sadly I have to say this one might be the worst so far. The front staff was friendly and took our order quickly. It’s the cooks in the back that is making this place lack. The Grub. [[ KOAOMELETTE $ 8.95 ]] This omelette is filled with portuguese Sausage, cheese, mushroom, spinach and made with three eggs. You also get a choice of pancakes, rice, toast or home fried potatoes. I of course went with the potatoes. The omelette was good, the potatoes… were horrible =___= I think they were old. They just tasted all around weird… Uhhh how do you mess up the potatoes? Overall: Mehhhhhhhh. The front staff was good. However, the food in my opinion was not up to the same standards as other locations. I definitely prefer other locations over this one.
