Children’s Lighthouse WoodCreek Reserve

We love Children’s Lighthouse of Woodcreek! Ms. Tonya is fabulous, she is pleasant, professional and fun, personable and bubbly for our little 5 year old. Ms. Rene and Ms. Katie know how to be a ray of sunshine as well. Ms. Bree is amazing, loving, caring and experienced teacher. Our daughter doesn’t want to leave in fact she wants to go home with Ms. Tonya who is management and Ms. Bree and the other teachers!!! We wish Children’s Lighthouse offered Kindergarten we will be sorry to leave:) Only reason not 5 stars would be other lunch options for a semi picky eater as our daughter can be or a bring in your favorite lunch day. but we understand there are too many food allergies!!! Ms. Bree has to be the most loving gentle and caring teacher I have ever experienced. My personal situation has caused us to move several times and I finally feel like I have a home for my daughter. We love you Ms. Bree!

Although I believe this business treats the children with care, the teacher’s never seem to stay long. I’ve met several different teachers and staff within a short amount of time that I am simply numb and uninterested when I’m introduced to someone new.
This facility also should consider where the staff park, as well as, where they park their buses. I find it very inconsiderate for those with babies to have to park further away from the school because the school buses and staff are parked closer. There is a large parking lot near the dumpers, is that not for the staff?
Also, they charge you for everything and even have the nerves to have sign up sheets for parents to bring stuff for random parties. We pay enough for our children to attend there, so I would expect them to take the cost out of what I’m already paying for tuition or simply stop having the parties.
Overall, I would say look somewhere else, unless you’re free-​spirited and don’t mind lots of change.

I have never posted a review before but our children are our world and I want everyone to be aware of this location.
I was planning on moving our child here once we made the move to Katy. I called on several occasions and each time the service was subpar, but the third time was downright horrible. I called to begin the process for enrollment and was told that they would have to check the availability for the classroom and would get right back to me. Two hours later, I called and was transferred to the Director. I told her who I was and was advised verbatim, «This is „name“, the Director and I told you FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO that I would call you back when I knew the availability. click». Not only was she very rude but she hung up on me. I checked the time frame on my phone and it was not fifteen minutes, it was a little over two hours. The only reason I was calling back so soon was because I wanted to visit at lunch to sign the papers before I went out of town. She NEVER called back. I called another location that was only 2 miles further from our home and was met with kindness AND they did not even need to put me on hold to advise of vacancies for my child.
I have told my story to several friends in the area and one of them said that word around town is the management is not very nice and they have a hard time keeping employees.
High turnover is always a good indication of the environment…
God works in mysterious ways because I am SO thankful my child will not be there.
