I have seen many negative reviews for this Chipotle but in their defense I must say my experience has been very good. Staff was helpful, place was clean, food was fresh and portions were huge. I one time had the brown rice, witch does require more cook time, the rice was not quite done, they happily replaced my bowl. The next time a week later the rice was perfect. Give them a break guys remember this is fast food with mainly young kids working there. In my opinion the best you can get in fast food.

I particularly want to give a shout out to the crew on shift Friday night, May 6. They moved us customers thru the line smoothly, were friendly, and everywhere I looked from my servers to the kitchen staff, cutting tables, and floors were clean and working like clock work. I have done a range of quality inspections and audits for a living and felt this young team ran this restaurant well. Treat and nurture these great workers well. They are a credit to the Chipotle brand and experience.

Absolutely horrible! Let me start by saying my family and I just moved to the area. We have been chipotle customers on a weekly basis for years. This is the worst chipotle we have ever been to. The staff was rude and wouldn’t listen to my 10 year old that likes to order his own food. When we asked for more of something, i.e. cheese or sour cream, we were met with dirty looks and even told no. We got our food to go and 4 items, 2 burritos and 2 burrito bowls were put into a small bag that wouldn’t even shut. The guacamole was brown and the rice was crunchy. We ordered a side of chips and got about 10 in the bag. We will NEVER visit this location again.

The little girl that works there hates her job. She’s the one with the smug look, very unwelcoming. Sorry beeotch the place doesn’t close until 10, not like I walked in at 9:59.

I have seen a lot of reviews commenting about the portion sizes. I’d like to educate you on the fact that there are certain portion sizes for the average sized person that they have to follow. If you’re bigger or hungrier than the average person then that’s a personal problem. They are given this guideline from corporate so it’s not just THIS chipotle.

I think Chipotle is overpriced for what you get, that’s why I haven’t been in years. Well I got a bogo flyer, that’s the only reason why I came here. Guess they are trying to win back customers from the whole listeria fiasco. Came here after church on a Saturday night. Place wasn’t crowded. Ordered myself a burrito bowl with barbacoa. They were pretty good with the portion size. The rice was a bit dry and not how I remembered the cilantro lime rice to be. I even make better rice than that. That’s my only complaint really. I didn’t have any issues with unfriendly service then again I wasn’t really paying attention either. Decent food, but not for $ 8.

I really loved this place because it’s almost like a place where the community goes. Not once have I gone in there and and not seen someone I know. I loved to get the burrito there. It was amazing, until the E. coli break out, but if you want to go, the foods great

I have been to many chipotle restaurants but this one is nasty. Customer service is lacking(no personality, no welcoming, no thank you) chicken was fatty an inedible, lettuce old, guacamole almost black and chips wet and stale. This has happened on two occasions. I’ll continue driving over to Fry until Mason can get their act together.

Well after seeing the reviews I know I am not alone. This location has absolutely no constancy. My husband and I have eaten there about four times. Three out of the four were terrible! Tonight was our last time at this location. The white rice wasn’t cooked neither were the Pinto beans. It was like we were eating cereal with so much crunch. I can’t believe this location has enough business to stay open. I would recommend any other location.

3 bites into my burrito bowl and I realize the crunch I am tasting is the rice. The rice was not fully cooked. Wth.

I love burritos and am always on the hunt for the best place to eat one. I have always heard people raving about how amazing Chipotle is, so I decided to give it a try. After walking in here, I realized how cramped the seating was. Once I got to the counter to make my burrito, I noticed what little variety there was in terms of vegetables, meat and condiments. I was extremely disappointed. I made my burrito and the flavor was so bland and hard to eat honestly. The prices are too high for what little satisfaction I had in the burrito. The food here is NOT good! Try a different burrito place please. Save your time, money and happiness.

I’ve been here twice and it’s okay, not the best. Portions are very small at this location so you have to ask for them to double the meat. Place is okay and all the employees are young, just seems like all Chipotles are just not as good as they used to be

I came back even though I swore off this location because I knew it’d be a good option for my spice-loving vegetarian mother-in-law that’s visiting. Much to my surprise and pleasure, the staff seemed like a new bunch and they knew what they were doing. They were fast, easily answered questions about the ingredients in their beans and got the proportions right. Hopefully this means the bad feedback about this location has been heard and acted on.

None of the employees wear hairnets. Nearly 95% of the time they are out of Carnitas. Often they aren’t ready for the lunch crowds and by 11:30 they’re out of lettuce. There’s a «manager» on site sometimes, but he’s playing around like his subordinates. On two separate occasions, the person in front of me has had to berate the employees as the manager just watched. Chipotle, please help this location because every single time there is some issue.

So I was super stoked allll daaaay to use my BOGO free coupon that I won but my expectations have exceeded the mediocre reality of this Chipotle :( A cold burrito bowl that made me feel sick after a few bites of blandness … how unfortunate that this convenient location so close to home does not meet customers’ expectations. Sigh. Why… I never thought I’d ever say this about Chipotle… But bleh.

The location is close to home and I love Chipotle, but I’m going to have to just suck it up and drive to the Fry location. The design is really poor. Very short area to stand to wait in line and chairs where you eat is where customers wait to order. The food isn’t bland like other reviewers commented on, but it isn’t as flavorful as the Fry location. They are very slow. It took 10 minutes for them to do 5 burrito bowls and the girl behind the counter was very timid and wouldn’t look at you. Strange. They need better management while they’re still new or they will lose customers.

Food at this location is very bland. I ordered a burrito bowl, the rice was no fully cooked, the steak had no flavor and this is not the first time I’ve experienced this at this location. I’ll just stick to the Chipotle on N. Fry Road.

This does not taste like chipotle at all. I had a veggie burrito from chipotle yesterday on N. Fry and it tasted amazing!(Basically what chipotle usually tastes like) But when I got a chicken veggie bowl at this chipotle location today, it tasted oddly amateur and not how chipotle ingredients taste like at all. The ingredients are strangely bland and I could barely taste any seasonings or spice. Usually the chicken dish is more flavorful than the veggie option but it surprisingly wasn’t at all. I would discourage coming to this location. Also, they give you smaller portion size than usual. Definitely go visit chipotle on N. Fry if you really want the authentic chipotle flavorful taste.

Worst food from a Chipotle… ever. We frequent Chipotles all over the area, most being close to work in the Houston Medical Center and then around Houston, and closer to home in Katy. In Katy, we usually go the location on North Fry. North Fry is a solid location, food consistent, fresh, and good tasting. This new location on South Mason rd in Katy is plain terrible. Maybe it is because the entire restaurant is run entirely of kids that don’t look old enough to drive(even the manager), and they just don’t care? Usually while going through lines in other location, building a bowl, you get a scoop of your ingredients(beans, rice, meat, etc). Not here. They are CHEAP with everything; you have to ask again and again to get the equivalent to what you get as a standard at other locations. Line walkthrough consisted of «can I get more beans?, Can I get more lettuce??» and the like. After having to beg/hassle the employees for food, pay and take to go, the food: Steak TOUGH as cardboard, dry, overcooked and chips that could literally break your teeth they are so stiff and not crispy but chewy and hard(not to mention that you get ½ the chips you get at other locations). Please south Katy residents– I know this location is close but AVOID it. Don’t encourage sub-par food and poor customer service for it being close, hit the North Fry location instead.
