I don’t normally rate any restaurants poor but this wasn’t very good. I even tried to give it a second change and it just reminded me not to go there anymore. I ordered the 12 street tacos(half beef, half chicken) — meat was poor quality. They gave us one cup of salsa for all 12 tacos which I think lasted us through half of them. They gave us another cup for the onions and green peppers but that literally lasted for 4 tacos. I suggest going to another restaurant.

Terrible, customer service, food, prices. One of the cooks was next door at gas station using restroom and did not was his hands or wear gloves. Fajitas taste like SAMs club frozen foods. I’d rather go to Taco Laredo inside stripes Gas station.

I picked up for lunch the other day. The food was just ok. Salty and the beef was not of high quality. I won’t be back. There are several other, better, options in the area.

The only flavor I tasted was black pepper, way too much black pepper. Fajitas bland and beef fatty. Queso too thick and tastes fake with no flavor. Tortillas taste like grocery store tortillas, not fresh or homemade. Pico is mushy tasteless tomatoes with no flavor. Guacamole was the consistency of toothpaste and seemed fake too. Portion of meat for the family pack does not serve 3 – 4 adults. Would never come back here again. La Finca has a fajita carry out family pack for about the same price that beats this place hands down.

First time trying Fajitas Depot today. I ordered 2 street tacos. One beef and one chicken. The meat was flavored well, but the salsa was not. I was expecting the salsa to be hot but it wasn’t even mild to me. It doesn’t matter though because this place is me new place when I’m craving tacos.

We placed an order for pick up and ordered the beef fajita ½ family pack that served 2 people. We also ordered the chips and queso. The beef doesn’t taste like beef it has no taste at all, onions weren’t cooked, and queso tasted like Canned nacho cheese with spices. Can’t believe this place has 3+ stars — STAYAWAY!

Fajitas lacked taste and were fatty. All items tasted bland and can like except for the chicken flautas. The flautas were yummy and fresh. Nice to have delivery but for $ 90 we will order carry out from another place.

Fajitas were good, but the family portion is tiny. Everything else tasted bland, like it came from a can. I have a place around the corner that gives 2 lbs for the same price.

Found a PIECEOFMETALINFOOD! Placed a delivery order of fajitas for the family and was delivered pretty quick. Witch was good cause we were all hungry. We all filled our plates and by the second bite my brother yelled out in pain and pulled out a piece of metal from his mouth… I’m glad my 5yr old nephew did not start eating yet. This is my first time reviewing on Unilocal I just had to warn people.

Delivery was fast, fajitas were great, & margaritas were good! The only reason I gave 3 stars instead of 5 is because of the portions. We ordered the family size fajitas & it was about the same size as fajitas for 1 at any other place.

This place hit the spot! 5 stars because of the delivery. I wasn’t expecting too much but it ended up being delicious and with more food than we thought. The chardonnay beans are slightly too salty(imo) yet still better than a lot of other Mexican places. This is definitely gonna be our go to delivery place.

I love this place! Customer service is really great. When placing an order I had mentioned that I was under the weather. Well the NEXT time I ordered, the delivery guy said«I hope you are feeling better. I know last time you were sick. «I have never been treated like that by any person in the service industry but clearly this place and their entire team cares. They remembered. That meant so much to me. The food is always on time if not earlier than stated & tasty. The margaritas are the BEST! I usually hate margaritas but sipped from my husbands cup & it’s been ordered for both since. Right to the door ! Food is packaged in quality containers delivered by clean friendly drivers.(I can’t be the only one who pays attn to this detail.) Makes me feel the kitchen is clean Bottom line I have nothing but praises for fajita depot. This is my unpaid, unsolicited opinion. Excellent delivery restaurant!

Fajita and margarita delivery? I’m excited. It was good. The queso needs a little work. The fajitas were good. The margarita was awesome. I hate when you get one and you taste the mixer. But this one is good. I’m getting the gallon one next time. Delivery was within 35 min. The salsa cup is very small, so you need to order more if feeding more people. Small cheddar cup too. It’s smaller then a ¼ cup. Chips were great. I will order from them again. Hallelujah there’s another choice from Chinese and Pizza.

I love they deliver and send email updates of the process of your order. The family pack of fajitas is over priced for the amount of meat you get. We will order again, the food is good especially for delivery. $ 1.49 for a side of sour cream is ridiculous.

Amazing! Since fajitas are my favorite meal ANYWAY — I was so happy to find someone that fajitas are the main food that they do! Took it home and was super pleased with the packaging and freshness of everything. It was enough to feed the two of us for two meals! Welcome to Katy Fajita Depot!

Executive Summary: Pick up the phone and order some fajitas from here. I find that all the Tex-Mex restaurants in and around Houston, whether stand-alone or strip center, family owned or chain/franchise, tend to have a bell curve distribution for food quality: the vast majority are average. It is hard to find one that is absolutely outstanding or absolutely terrible(I’m referring to the quality of food mind you, not service.) To give you some perspective on this rating, the original Lupe Tortilla’s at Highway 6 is our #1 favorite, and El Jarrito on Highland Knolls is our every day backup. We’ve eaten at every other Tex-Mex in Katy, but those are the two we go to. Now, Fajita Depot is now on our radar, and we’ll be ordering the delivery family pack(mix) again. The food quality was in the good range(out of the four categories: bad, ok, good, outstanding). The rice and refried beans we had no complaints with, and the picante sauce was hot enough for us. It also had a smoky flavor to it which I found unique. I would have preferred the queso to be thicker, but whateva. The chips were«OMG, AMAZING!» Overall, our family of six gave it «two thumbs up — would eat from again,» so this is definitely a win for our family.(Two elem kids/two jr. high kids — no leftovers). When you don’t want to go out, don’t want to pick up, and can’t do Chinese delivery, Fajita Depot will be there for you. Note: I am giving a 5 star review to help make up for the two other 1 star ratings which, I believe, are inaccurate/unfair and distribute the star ratings lower than they should. Fajita Depot place is a firm 3.5−4, and the stars need to reflect it.

I am highly disappointed with this place. The fajitas were ok but EVERYTHING else was bland from the ques, to the beans, and especially the rice. This place could get good reviews if they just spice it up a little. I am highly disappointed. :(

Solid beef and chicken fajitas. Tortillas were fresh. Delivery was quick. Was not a fan of the beans or rice but that’s probably more personal related.

So I went in today to get a small bite to eat as I had plans. I guess this place is pretty new. And its not a dine-in place. No where to eat. Its basically takeout and I think they deliver as well, iirc. I thought it was kind of odd to open a Mexican place, especially as small as it is, since Lupe Tortilla is literally, like a less than a minute walk which has awesome Mexican food. This place is right next to the Shell Station. Now, the menu is pretty tiny, not your typical mexican place with tons of options, again its more of a delivery/takeout place. So, I was in a hurry and only wanted one fajita taco to get me by. The lady offered a 3 for $ 4.50 special plate they had. I declined and asked for just one to get me by. Plus I wanted to see how good it was in case I’d be back. So she tells me $ 1.50 and I say great. She’s cooking and I hear an employee from the back come thru and say something like, «ah, there’s nothing I like better than a woman behind the grill cooking.» Jokingly, of course, and I’m paraphrasing, but that’s basically the jist of what he said. I just thought that was so odd that he said that out loud like that in front of a customer. I don’t remember if she reacted or just blew it off. BTW, that employee, was the OWNER. So the owner bags the taco and rings it up and says $ 1.94. I had given him $ 2 as he said it, and I thought for a second. When he came back with the change, I asked him why the tax is so high. He says something like, its $ 1.79. I say, well, I asked the lady how much for just one and she told me $ 1.50. He looks back at her, then me, and says, «nope, and I“m the owner, and its $ 1.79.» He was just very crass when saying it. And to be honest, I was just dumbfounded. All I said was, «well that’s good business.» You could tell he could of cared less though. Now the extra .30 cents wasn’t a big issue of course, but its the principle The place seems to be pretty new, and this guy has absolutely zero customer service skills. Even a regular employee wouldn’t say something the way he did. If you’re employee makes a little mistake, just say, «ok, I“ll honor that, no problem.» I mean that’s just customer service 101, and he either failed that class or skipped it. It disappointing because I love to support small mom and pop businesses and this guy just lost one customer. I know he doesn’t care but I guarantee you my co-workers, friends and family will hear about this place. I’ve lived here since 1979 and have never had this kind of experience at an establishment. Ok, so the food. The food, is well, carryout//delivery a notch better than fast food. Congratulations. The meat was okay at best, and came with just cilantro, and a side of some salsa that was okay. The tortilla wasn’t bad. I’d say its better than Taco Bell, and Taco Cabana but right below Taqueria Arandas and pretty much any Taco Truck you could find on the side of the road somewhere. But you could get WAY better food next door at Lupe Tortilla. Just place a carryout order. Sorry the the rant, hopefully this knucklehead owner gets his stuff together, and his food together as well.
