If I could give 0 stars for the staff; I would. My wedding was Friday June 17. The venue was HORRIBLE. I have waited months to write this review(scared they would make things worse) It was Noah’s Event Venue(Katy location) FIRST, back in March I went for a final meeting to pick out linens and was told we owed another $ 720 for security.(We paid the venue JUST the venue $ 7,000) and they include NOTHING. They said the security was«up to their discretion» they wouldn’t tell me their reasons but threatened to cancel if I didn’t pay right then. So I did. Finally after I asked again, the lady says«well we didn’t want to bring this up» but just so happens to have printed an email from 5 months prior where they said my fiancé was«threatening» I read the email. They emailed him about 7pm, and told him if he didn’t pay his monthly payment that day they would cancel our wedding. He responded(with a few curse words) saying basically they had his card on file and they were supposed to run it monthly. And if they cancelled he’d sue.(Not as nice as that, but still) BUT in no way was he physically threatening. After that point nobody answered my calls, returned messages or responded to emails. UNTIL I sent an email and cc’d every Noah’s in Texas. Then I received a $ 200 refund. Anyhow the day of the wedding they had security there at 12(because myself and my girls needed security. Lol) well the«security guards» were sleeping, on the phone, etc. anyhow the staff was incredibly RUDE. My guests would ask questions and they were snippy and bothered by them(if they even acknowledged them) I was so embarrassed. They also started«counting linens» 2 hours before my reception was over to do «inventory». There was wax spilled on the ceremony floor the night of the rehearsal and was told it would be cleaned up(it wasn’t) The wedding was set to be cleared out by midnight. Around 1145, staff was following us around and rushing us out the door. Not until the next day did we realize we had several gifts missing. Great«security» for $ 720. We offered to pay and have REALPOLICE there, they said we had to have their«security“My wedding was amazing. The venue is beautiful. But the staff was HORRIBLE and make sure you read the fine print and see what is up to their discretion BEFORE doing any business with them.

We used Noah’s for 3 banquet fundraisers this November and we were very impressed with their friendliness and their service. The staff was incredibly accommodating and the facilities are immaculate. We will most certainly use them again next year!!!

After looking at several venues for our wedding — my fiancée(now husband) and I opted for Noah’s of Katy. We booked the venue while it was still being built but went in several times to check out the space as it was being developed. Everything was great and ran into a few issues closer to the wedding date. The person i was speaking with initially stated that dinnerware comes with the venue as that was one of the questions we asked. A few weeks before the wedding, i was being the cautious bride and confirming everything with my vendors i was told that dinnerware was not included — how am i suppose to feed 250 people with no plates! Although the manager was nice enough to provide us with a few extra hours(the venue is booked based on 3−6−−9−12 hour blocks), I had to dish out a couple extra thousand dollars to my caterer due to this mishap. On to the day of our reception — as i was sitting on stage with my husband i realized that a crowd started to gather in the back where several people were standing up as they had no seats. It was then i realized that there were 2 – 3 tables missing from the layout i designed so about 20 – 30 people had no seating in the main hall. This layout was confirmed several times. Also, there were additional square tables on the back wall — not sure why they were there but they’re in the wedding pictures! That frustrated me to my core and unfortunately as a bride I wasn’t able to figure out what was going on. For brides — definitely have someone oversee all these things. Overall the wedding reception was a success but I wished for better organization and service throughout as i’m a stickler for detail. Some FYI — The venue itself is a stand alone building that has several halls that you can rent out separately or the building as whole with a patio. Has a nice bridal suite and game room with a TV pool table, etc. Available options for specialty linens, chair covers, ceiling designs, design re-set, etc. The projection screen cannot be used if you have a stage/backdrop set up. No dinnerware/silverware provided. These would have to come from the caterer along with servers. I hope to update soon as I may be renting out this place again for a dinner as it is close to my husband’s family.

Update*** I am changing from 1 star to 3 stars after reading manager reply. I was unaware that the caterer was outsourced. However, I am keeping it at 3 stars because other event venues only use pre-approved vendors and whether this was one of your recommended vendors or not, workers and staff that are this horrible should never be allowed access to your facilities. Original review is still listed below: ************************************************************************** Oh my gosh I don’t even know where to begin. PLEASE do not spend your money here, you will get ripped off! The facilities are gorgeous, but the food SUCKS and the service SUCKS. 15 round tables were crammed into a room, the round tables were WAY too small to seat 10 people per table. Plus several of us couldn’t get our knees under because of metal posts blocking our legs. The event, which included a $ 40 dinner, was supposed to start at 7 but at 6:30 all salads were already at each setting(warm and wilted). At 6:45, as soon as my husband and I sat in a seat to talk to someone, a plate with a slab of chicken, plain noodles, and potatoes were plopped down at 4 of the 10 spaces. About 7:30pm, 7 of the 10 people at our table round finally had their chicken, but nobody wanted to start because 3 were still waiting for their chicken. Finally we all ate cold chicken. Gross. After the dinner plates were removed, coffee was plopped down in PAPER cups but only to about 3 people at our table. There were only two sugars in the sugar holder and they were soaking wet. Three creamers were unceremoniously plopped down on the tables next to wherever there were PAPER coffee cups. I got tired of waiting for a coffee cup to arrive so I just drank my husbands. We also didn’t have any spoons. The servers were loud and disrepectful of our event, would block our view of the screen, just standing in the way and they were so loud we couldn’t hear the speakers. Also, the kitchen was right off the room and whenever the staff opened the door to the kitchen, all 150 of us could hear them in the kitchen laughing and playing loud music. People were singing in the kitchen while we were trying to hear people at our own event gives speeches. Speaking of which, their sound system cut out a lot and the servers kept cranking the AC(since they were hot from running around) and so the rest of the guests froze their butts off. Worst $ 40 per person I’ve ever spent.
