Needs better management or something ! Food is not fresh nor is it hot it’s warm but like more on the cold side of warm yuck! Do better

Did not give me back my change or a receipt. Wwnt inside to advise manager and she initially refuaed to count down the drawer. Manager advised we needed to wait until the store closed.
I requested a number to corporate and she refused. She insisted I paid w/​exact change. Finally, she left to call the owner and began speaking in another language.
Aparantly, she received the okay and had the cashier count the drawer down.
Upon learning they did infact not give me my change, she never even apologized. She was obviously annoyed I wanted my change.
Very poor customer service and I NEVER heard of an establishment refusing to provide a receipt!

Yesterday, I figured since I’d been running around all day an hadn’t eaten. I wouldn’t be cooking. So I dropped by Popeyes. Upon walking in I heard «:)Welcome to Popeys!» I haven’t been to Popeyes in a while. Apparently they have a new manager and the staff was really good. After ordering something small for me. I called home and they wanted Popeyes too. So I went through the drive thru.
Now this is where it gets interesting.
I ordered a big family meal with fries and etc my total was a little over $ 40 I was like cool when I drove up to the window the drive thru worker said «Here’s your dinner enjoy.» I said «No. wait. I haven’t paid.»
She said «you don’t know.?» I said «I don’t know what.?» She replied «The black suv ahead of you paid for your meal.» I was dumbfounded. She asked me if I knew who they were I told her no. That was pretty dang cool. That just doesn’t happen every day and that’s never happened to me. Wow!!!:) The food was good even though I cheated on my diet it was worth it. Lol

Messed up my order and tried to charge me $ 11 for 5 tenders ONLY. That’s more expensive than a meal!

Been wanting to try Popeye’s for a while, their commercials make it look so appetizing. So, the other day I finally did.
My husband picked up the chicken tender combo for me in the drive-​thru. The tenders and biscuit were the best part of the whole thing. I definitely wasn’t impressed with the cajun fries or the awful side of mashed potatoes (w/​gravy). And the «ranch» they gave me for the tenders was the worst I’ve ever had!
So, at least now I know what Popeye’s is like and I can stop wondering. I won’t be back.

This Popeye’s used to be good. Now, I would avoid completely. I was there yesterday in the drive thru and the entire experience was bad. First, they do not listen to you when you give your order. I asked for hushpuppies, we did not receive. Second, the wait time in line was extremely long. When you do get to the window, they are confused and rude. I get the order and ask them a third time if there are hushpuppies in the bag and they say yes along with the sauces. Well, I get home and we open the food and nothing is right! We did not get any hushpuppies, they gave us some fried shrimp instead. And the sauces we asked for, they got NONE of them right! The food they did get right was disgusting except for the mashed potatoes and biscuits.
I tried calling the restaurant but of course, nobody picks up. I filed a complaint with Popeye’s corporate and also completed the survey.
So if that wasn’t enough, spending hard earned money and getting the order completely wrong, I got food poisoning! I spent the entire afternoon and evening vomiting and pooping my brains out! I don’t think the chicken and seafood were fresh. They were spoiled. They even looked weird. My wife banned me from the bed as she said I didn’t have enough time with nothing coming out.
I hope to hear back from someone at this restaurant soon with a full refund as this is just unacceptable! I used to love Popeye’s but no more! AVOID!!!

I love Popeye’s, esp the mashed potatoes and gravy… Would have been nice if they would have included them in my order. Would have liked my bisquits as well. Check your order before you leave. They can’t seem to get it right in the drive through. Had a family meal tonight and was really annoyed when we sat down at the table without the food we ordered, and paid for…

We love Popeyes, but we live in Katy and every time we have gone thru the drive they at this location, they get the order wrong. How can the same location get your order wrong every time? If you go, you may want to go in and make sure they give you the right order and if thru the to go, make sure you check what you get before you leave.

This Popeyes never seems to have fresh (just cooked) chicken tenders. They always seem to be slightly stale from sitting in the warmer.
Today they messed up our order pretty bad. Of the 3 things were ordered, one was correct. The 2 piece mild combo had the spicy chicken. The 3 piece chicken tender meal and 3 pieces of regular chicken (not tenders).
Something always seems to be off here.
They are very friendly when correcting the orders, but…

We were excited to have a Popeyes close up our house but the food was so dry! Both the fries and chicken were dry and cold. Definitely not the best location we’ve been to unfortunately!
