I haven’t actually had work done by Mr. Cowan — however, I will say that he is unquestionably dedicated to making things right. When talking to him, the first thing he did was bring up the negative review on Unilocal.This was for nothing more than allowing me to research him and give him the opportunity to explain the situation — and even after hearing his explanation, reading the response(btw, don’t sign a contract without reading it because then you’ll get the wrong paint color — and it’ll be your fault) it seems as though the homeowner was just disappointed. It happens. It’s also very emotionally charged, as the homeowner is throwing a lot of dirt on Bruce for literally just trying. I applaud the response from the business owner in being equally transparent which is something that is a lost art. I’d rather have someone tell me everything upfront(which even the complainant admits is the case) than be burned by the bigger companies that don’t have their livelihood at stake with every job.
