This place is truly awful. My wife’s MacBook pro was freezing up randomly so we took it in for diagnostics. They shot down the hard drive, and hard drive cable as being the source of the problem. They made the repairs and offered a 30 day warranty on parts and service. About 5 weeks later, the freezing issue returned. We took it back for additional diagnostics and they concluded the logic board was now bad and wanted $ 345 to have it replaced at an off site repair facility. Since we had already spent well over $ 300 trying to have it repaired, we decided that it wasn’t worth it. When we picked it up from round 2 of diagnostics, the MacBook no longer turned on at all even though the battery was brand new. We discussed the issue with them and they took no responsibility for the now worse off MacBook. We decided to have an official Apple store take a look at the MacBook after this and they ended up charging us $ 280 to have it sent in and have everything replaced that seemed faulty. They replaced the logic board and the display for $ 280 including shipping plus they give you a 90 day warranty. Don’t be fooled by Got Mac. They are not an authorized Apple retailer or an authorized Apple repair facility. They do not always use genuine Apple parts and having them make repairs on Apple products that are still under warranty will void said warranty. Leave it to the pro’s at the Apple store in Farmington, you will pay less and your product will be in the hands of Apple certified repair technicians.
