Mr Nino’s III Family Restaurant & Pizzeria

Best pizza and service in town. Every time i order everything comes out right, never had a problem with either picking up or delivery.

Got take out for a family dinner, and they hit the spot. The pizza has got what you need: flavorul sauce and soft crust. Two larges and chicken tenders for $ 32, fed six nicely with a few slices leftover. Not bad. If you want something quick and simple in the area, I would highly recommend them.

i ordered a few dinners from here and also ordered a Chef Salad which they forgot to deliver. I called back and the guy (asked for Manager) on the phone gave me the option to have a credit or get it delivered. I opted for the credit, it wasn’t a big deal and i didn’t want the delivery guy to have to come all the way back just for a salad, i had enough food. So two weeks later I ordered a Pizza and ask for the $ 5.25 (or close to that) credit and the manager starts giving me a hard time «I’m not having a pie delivered for 7 dollars (or whatever the amount/​difference was) …i couldn’t believe this guy was giving me a hard time. He already had the difference in money. He tried getting me to order more food and the only way i got that pie after all this going back and forth was to order a large bottle of soda. That was the last time i ordered from this moron.

The food was sub par very bland no flavor at all. I had it delivered which came at a decent time. But it looks like the driver ran over my meal and then reversed over it again. Sauce is on my carpet now. No wonder he took off as soon as I gave him the money.

Nasty manager/​owner!!! Living around the corner, it is very convenient ordering from this place however, can they ever just get the order correct??? We had ordered a pizza and there was barely any sauce on it. We called and they sent a new one with so much sauce just slopped on top of the cheese, it wasn’t even edible. Everytime we ordered dinners, the containers tops are crushed and the sauce is everywhere. The past 2 times we ordered, they made the same mistake. The first time we just ordered again and paid, the second I called. We had just moved and picked up food togo and took it home, unfortunately, after a day of moving I wasn’t going back. They guy I spoke with on the phone that refused to give his name, never apologized for the error just said o well, we were busy tonight. I told him I wanted a new one delivered, we moved about 15 – 20 minutes away he responded with «yeah, for a million dollars, you think I’m going to China for you» I paid cash so they couldn’t refund my card and he didn’t seem to understand that I won’t ever be ordering from there anymore so a credit does me no good. Very poor customer service skills. They also charge you for any little thing extra (dressing, sauce etc) I understand mistakes can happen but they happen too often here. Also, a simple apology goes a long way. Only reason they are busy is because there is nothing else around over there.

One of the best pizza’s I’ve ever tasted!!! This is the kind of pizza taste I want to grab after a long day at work for some comfort food because I know I will never be disappointed.

Family & Friends that live in Kearny, NJ (or near this area), DO NOT ORDER FROM Mr. Nino’s Pizzeria III. We have been ordering from this establishment for the past year. Tonight we went to oder, we politely asked from some ketchup packets to be delivered with our order. The cashier asked what was ketchup so we replied with «Ketchup for our french fries». 5 minutes later we get a phone call from the owner of Mr. Nino’s III saying that we cursed at the cashier, using the F word. We never would curse anyone. For some reason the owner called us a FCKING a**hole and liars. What kind of restaurant owner would call back their faithful customers and curse at them and say all these unnecessary remarks. We just wanted some Pizza from our favorite Pizzeria here in Kearny, NJ but I guess at Nino’s they don’t value loyal customers. Bye Bye!

I have been going to NIno’s Pizzeria since i was in high school. The service is always great and the staff is always friendly. The food is delicious, the service is exceptional and the people are always helpful. I have eaten there and ordered from there. The whole experience is great.

What can I say. Ninos is the best! The staff kills it. Adriano is now a great friend of my family. The food is always delicious. They deliver. Accept credit cards. Will make you whatever you want to eat. Well maybe not anything. Best part is that it’s BYOB! Enjoy

Sadly I’d have to bring their stars down due to poor service :(. My husband works down the block so I often order delivery when I’m visiting him. I have ordered the Philly cheesesteak roll good number times and I make sure to always ask for ketchup. Not once did they ever include my ketchup even after I asked them not to forget this time because they ALWAYS do. Will not be ordering from this place again. I’d rather give my business to somewhere that’s willing to spare me few packs of ketchup. because after all I only asked about twenty+ times. tsk

I have to say I’m a HUGE fan of there food BUT very dossapointed with the service by the nasty counter girl and the rude manager on staff tonight. The delivery boy was very nice, the only person who was. My mother in law bought a 16 $ meal that she had asked for extra sauce on. THEY LOAD THE WHOLE THINK UP WITH SAUCE AND THE WHOLE TOP OF THE TRAY SUNK INTO THE FOOD AND STUCK TO HER MEAL. When she called to complain and simply ask for money back or a new meal, the manager on tonight was so rude I considered not odrring from here anymore. I’ll tell ya, 3 days ago she ordered 60 $ worth of food and than tongue she calls and the manager tells her «well next time don’t ask for extra sauce» such a shame.

Every time I order from Nino’s, the entire experience is pleasant. The people who answer the phone are nice, the food comes quickly, the delivery people are nice, the food is great. They take credit/​debit cards. I’ve never ordered anything from there that I didn’t like. They’re just as nice if you go eat inside. Very clean restaurant and newly remodeled within the last few years. I highly recommend them.

Stay away. FAR FAR AWAY. Our pizza arrived cold, it was not the first time either. After a wait time of over an hour. (Not the first time either) When I called to complain the manager was rude, didn’t want to give me a credit and instead offered to deliver another pie. I refused the pie as I was not willing to wait for another hour for another cold pie. I told him that I wanted a credit as this was not the first time I had to call and complain about a cold pizza, he flat out refused so I told him I would never order again and would post a negative review on Unilocal,he proceeded to yell at me and say that «this is what I get when I order from Harrison»… Seriously? It’s a 5 minute drive from my house… Mr. Nino’s this is what you get for being plain ol terrible to your costumers! YOU SUCK and so does your pizza!

Nino’s used to have the best penne and chicken in vodka sauce. We used to look forward to it on Fridays. I guess we will have to look for another spot. Who ever the cook was, bring him back please!

I’m extremely pleased with the service, both in house and when I order in. I ordered the eggplant parmesan with vodka sauce because the server said it was life changing. She was right. I ordered it to my house and lo n behold, it was just plain tomato sauce! So I called them and they actually sent a whole other dinner. And they told me to keep the dinner I had, that maybe someone I live with would eat it. That’s good business. Customers for life!!!

No good. Soggy and oily pizza. Did not like it at all. The middle of the pizza was like a chunk of cheese. The cheese was not good quality.

We order from here about once a week. I always get the same sandwich — fresh mozz and roasted red peppers. Always amazing. Tonight — not so good. Something, I believe the red peppers are extremely salty. So salty the sandwich is inedible. We call to let them know and barely got a sorry. Definitely no offer to make it right. So now I’m out dinner and still hungry. Work on your customer service, Nino’s. Just lost me as a customer.

Ordered a pepperoni slice during a quiet Sunday afternoon –I was starving — thankfully I received it in 5 min.
Pizza: It’s edible but the sauce needs work and personally the crust should be a little more crisp.

The set-​up: you moved out of town a few years ago but haven’t forgotten how damn good their pizza is. You’re let out of jury duty early and it’s the perfect opportunity to swing by for some lunch. But you only find a spot on a side street and only have 5 minutes before street cleaning will tag you with a ticket.
You rush around the block and walk up to the spot you’ve been to a hundred times before. But you see that Mr. Nino’s has been replaced by a Subway. The feeling is like having a loved one abducted. Subway?! But then you recall another Unilocaler mentioning it moved down the block some.
You trek a wee bit more and there it is… all new and cool and busy as hell.
The pizza was even better than I remember. Highly recommended: their chicken-​n-​broccoli slice.

Of all cuisines & foods I have sampled, pizza is by far the hardest to impress me, but Mr. Nino’s produces fresh slices each time I go — hard not to be wowed by the taste of their food.
Staff is friendly, but a bit dismissive. Prices are right — Great local choice for good pizza.
