Called Not Just Rugelach to see if they could help with a basket of baked goodies for my aunt — my uncle had just passed away. When I spoke to Jeffrey, he was terrific — first, expressing his condolences to the family, then asking how many people and what age range would be stopping by my aunt’s house, then making recommendations on what they could put together(pies, rugelachs, cakes & cookies) for my price range. To top it all off, he personally delivered the order to my aunt even though delivery is not part of their service. While I did not get a chance to sample the goodies(I live in Austin), everyone there loved the food and variety of what was included in the basket. They would definitely recommend to friends and so would I.

This place has very good baked goods. The granola is perfectly sweetened and the bread is delicious. The pies are perfect as well! I would give them 5 stars, but I had a really hard time redeeming a living social deal here because of the owner’s insistence that only a printout of the deal was valid(not the iPhone app). He/She should have written that on the«Terms and conditions» so people could comply! After a long argument and 2 calls to the owner, they finally accepted me writing down the info instead of a printout. Jeez. I’ll definitely be back, though.

oh so yummy. try the chicken pot pie for 5 bucks, big chunks of white meat, can’t be beat. chocolate chip cookies have lots of what look like dark mini chips, my favorite. they are crunchy, not the soft kind, but so tasty. bought the pumpernickel bread, interesting. has good texture, enough raisins, but fell apart one day later, before and after being toasted. hmmm, weird.
