Dartbrook Lodge

This review has been a long time coming such is my happy anticipation to write it. After visiting their Dartbrook Rustic Goods shop last summer and being captivated by their unique and beautiful offerings, my friend’s mother suggested that when we planned our trip for this year we should stay at Dartbrook Lodge. She sure knows her stuff so who am I to second guess her expertise?
Each of the accommodations are fully outfitted with their creations and ADK-​style touches from wooden beds, tables and dressers made from local woods, to handcrafted bath soaps made by a local soap artisan, to decorative touches.
We were in the South Center house which had a bedroom with a Select Comfort bed and a portable ac unit, screened in porch, living space with a free standing gas fueled stove (it was too warm for that), cedar closet, a kitchenette and one bathroom with a stand in slate lined rain shower. Everything was immaculate and well thought out. Just perfect.
I look forward to many more visits to Dartbrook Lodge and the beautiful High Peaks area. They are both not to be missed. :)))

Went up to Adirondacks for few days to enjoy Mother Nature and go on nature walks. Stayed at Dartbrook Lodge in the Halcyon Cabin. It was amazing. Its super quiet up there and it’s a great place to relax and unwind.
Met the owners and they were super sweet and down to earth. Staff were friendly and helpful. Keene town is cute. ADK café is right next door. There is also a deli nearby (within walking distance). They have wide selections of sandwiches, organic products, coffee/​teas, and everything else.
They have different cottages. Check out their websites for pictures and layouts for each cottage. Great for couples, small or big family get-​away.
