I’ve been a member of this gym for around 2 years or so. I got to the gym when I could and I certainly wouldn’t consider myself a gym rat. The establishment was always clean and the staff very friendly. Also many many workout options.
Now with all that said here’s why I cancelled my membership. Several months ago my bank had a «Breach» and with no notifications sent me and my wife new cards, and cancelled the old ones. Fine, thanks for looking out. However, it left me with the inconvenience of having to notify all the business and services who auto withdraw from my account.
Now as you could imagine there were some I missed when the payments are on auto sometimes you just don’t thing about it. Edge Training & Fitness was one of them.
All of them EXCEPT Edge Training & Fitness, notified me of a missed payment and I corrected it right away.
Last night I got a phone call from a collection agency about my missed payments. A freaking COLLECTION AGENCY! I don’t get sent to collections. I pay my debts, my credit rating is everything to me. I was furious absolutely furious. Edge Fitness and Training has my address, email, and phone number. A courtesy call, or letter or something would have been nice. But a call from a collection agency straight out of the blue sent me sideways.
This is why I gave the business an «OK» rating. The person I spoke with at the gym was very nice and apologetic, she even took off many of the fees. I gave her my new card number, paid my debt and then cancelled my membership. If a member misses a payment then I think a friendly reminder is in order, not let it build for 4 months and then go straight to collections with no notification. Either someone dropped the ball (and I acknowledge my part in this) or that’s a billing policy I choose not to be involved with.

Been going to this gym for a couple weeks now and what I like about this place is that it’s really CLEAN. Staff is always helpful and nice, always greeting their customers. Equipment is all up to date and there’s always someone cleaning every day. The downside is it’s busy between 5−8pm week nights but that’s a given for after work workouts.

Great price for what you get! Certain times can be super busy but overall it’s great. Clean & lots of machines.

DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM! The costumer service is horrible and their billing department is down right unethical. There are tons of hidden fees and they make it near impossible to leave without a ton of charges. Save yourself the grief and pick another gym.
