Great local Pizzaria, been improving greatly with the employees as well as the interior, if you haven’t been in a while, you should give another try! Ask for the specials and you’ll get a better deal! Great for parties as well.

This pizzeria has greatly improved. They are updating and bend over backwards to fix any issue that one might have with them.

I’m being generous with the two stars. The only thing good was the price was good and the place was almost empty so lots of seating. I ordered a pretty plain pizza off the board. It was basically an Hawiian that had olives. I was super hungry and so looking forward to this pizza. When it came it was overcooked and crunchy dry. The Canadian bacon was little strips of cut ham not the nice thin slices. If it was just not cooked so much it would have been okay. Not great but okay, but I left pizza on the table as it wasn’t even worth taking home. I will not go back as I can’t remember having a worse pizza.

Canned mushrooms on pizza? A charge of $ 0.50 for to go orders?(I’m assuming this is because of the box…) Eh, I don’t know. It was good enough because I was famished but I wouldn’t stop here again. The pepperoni was also subpar. The best part of this whole visit was a very sweet gal named Mercedes who complimented me on my shoes. I’ll always take a compliment. Of course.

We moved to Keizer 6 months ago and have been coming here primarily. We love the pizza. Its always done right and delicious. Tonight, they messed up our order. My husband told me when they noticed there was no green peppers on half of it, the guy just sprinkled some cold ones right on top. There was also No tomatoes. No big deal, they offered to remake it. Of course mistakes happen sometimes. And then they messed up the remake too. No tomatoes. When I went to pick up the pizza, the cook was chewing gum right there In the kitchen. Name one restaurant that let’s the kitchen staff chew gum. Eww. Apparently that same guy chewing gum was the one with the bright idea to sprinkle cold bell pepper on my pizza. What’s happening JCs? I’m Not calling to complain again. I’m not driving down there again. I’m not ok with another remade mistake. The GM needs to sit down with everyone working tonight and talk about what went wrong. Another customer who was also waiting had his order called. They called the number so quiet he didn’t hear. When he went up, half of his order was missing and 2 of his pies had been sitting on the counter for 10 minutes. I really want to say I’ll go back. Probably never on the weekend again.

Not too impressed. Standard pizzeria fare, dumpy atmosphere, Slipknot blazing on the jukebox. Won’t return.

Got a large pizza to go. Totally dried out and over cooked. Didn’t realize it until we got to our destination. Very disappointing. Used to love this pizza. Don’t plan on eating there again.

This review is only for the pizza. I don’t prefer to eat there, but only take out. The best in town in my opinion. Great crust, and plenty of toppings on each. Prices are competitive with other pizza places in town.

Love the crust which is thin. I like older style building and this one is huge so I enjoy it. They also have good appetizers. I can’t give five stars because some of the deals for two toppings and half and halfs make the prices vary up to 5 dollars even, I know other pizza places can be similar but that’s being cheap to me. Anyways there giant pizza is also something I’m dying to try for a group or party.

Crust was doughy and I found a long semi-curly blonde hair in the melted cheese after heating up leftovers. Ugh, no thank you!

My family and I love JC’s. We order to-go here a couple times a month. Their pizza is spendy at about $ 20 for one large pizza and additional fee for to-go, but very worth the cost. Our favorites are the Water Boy, Cheerleader and The Coach. Like others, the only reason i downgrade to 4 stars is because of the dingy building/location. With remodeling, this place can be worthy of so much more. I enjoy the low lighting atmosphere and the big fireplace by the tables but the rest needs upgraded pretty badly. Also, the employees could work on their customer service – not very personable but great at making amazing pizza.

I never have written a review, but i felt like i had to. This used to be my favorite pizza place when i was little, but tonight i was greatly disappointed. i just had the worst pizza i have ever eaten in my whole life; frozen pizza tastes better than this. It had no flavor at all, seriously nothing. The card board box it came in probably had more flavor than this pizza. I felt like crying after eating it.

I love the pizza & spuds! Best pizza in Keizer the only reason I give it a 4 is because the inside looks kind of old it needs some remodeling or something. & once I went & there was a table that wasn’t clean & we were the only ones there so I don’t see why someone couldn’t go clean it. But yea pizza is great!

Best pizza in Keizer! I love the cracker bottom crust and the amount of toppings… 4 stars rather than 5 because of the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant. A new coat of paint, better lighting and a splash of personality on the walls would make this a regular hang out spot… It’s great if you’re taking it home though :)

This pizza has forsaken me and is far from my savior. I would even part seas to go to a different pizza place even if they adored false idols. Their pizzas should be crucified and hopefully never resurrect. The ancient scrolls on the bathroom walls show much racism. Upon first bite of their cold, no flavor, no chicken offered pizza I’ve now decided on becoming Jewish. Thanks JC.

We went there Monday night. After kicking our way through garbage all the way up to the front door we looked down and the entire ground around the front door was covered in about 200 cigarette butts. When we walked in it was like a big empty warehouse completely quiet inside. No music just a small television with a cartoon playing. Two employees were sitting there eating pizza at the order counter. We ordered our pizza that came to us wrong. But we we’re not going to be picky and took it anyway. The pizza was a big cracker lightly sprayed with tomato sauce if there was any. Everything was piled in the center of it. 3 inches of the entire outer rim of the Crust was completely bare! The crust was hard and burnt on the bottom and too hard to bite through. Either the owners are absent or they just don’t give a rats ass about their business. They need to hire a new manager and clean up their storefront! seriously!

I haven’t been here in probably 10 years and it’s been 20 years or more since I ate here. What I remember was a dark pizzaria with terrible pizza. Now they have painted all the walls white and added a bunch more lights. Now it’s nice and bright. It has a huge dining area so it would be great for family get togethers. And now to the important part, the Pizza. Like I said it used to be terrible. But now it’s quite good. It tastes just like Pietro’s Pizza to me which I love. My family quite enjoyed it here now and we will be coming back.

I can’t comment on the food, because I didn’t eat here. But I did walk in with the intention of eating… but shortly after entering what appeared to be an abandoned adult shop, I left… Please for the love update your interior it’s quite frightening.

Just moved here to Keizer, decided to try pizza here. The pizza was sooooooo good, one of the best pizzas I have had in a long time! The price was good we took two kids and there were a couple of video games to keep them entertained. So why not 5 stars? We walked in hoping to get relief from the 90 degree heat and it felt about 2 degrees cooler inside, very humid and hot inside, we asked if they could turn the ac on, they said it was on :-/also we asked for paper plates and I kid you not the plates were a little bit bigger than a tea cup saucer, the pizza draped over the ends. We asked for bigger plates and the guy simply said«oh I can’t do that» ooooooo k a bit odd but pizza was so good we made due with what we had. We have been back twice in two weeks, this will be our regular stop for pizza

This place has good pies. BUT, they do not have white sauce pizzas, they do not have chicken pizzas, and they do not have bacon. My favorite pizza ever is a white sauce chicken bacon. SO I was let down right at the counter. HOWEVER! They have the best crust I think Ive ever had. I have worked at plenty of pizza places, and eaten at even more. This place hands down has the best dough. They put tons of cheese on the pizzas. Great for value! They do no use timed conveyer ovens. Had I noticed right away I would have requested my pizzas be well done, because I didn’t feel the toppings were cooked enough. But the dough and cheese definitely were. I got 2 large 2 toppings and spuds to go for 40 bucks. Perfect price for a house full of college age people.

I must have come at a bad time compared to all these other reviews, because the food and experience I had was absolutely repulsive. I went with my friend for her brother’s 9th birthday party years ago and had never been here before. I figured I’d try it, and I love arcades so hey. Why not? Big mistake. The crust was oily and overdone, the sauce was bland, the cheese was rubbery and the service was nonexistent. Not to mention dirty tables and floors. :/ I seriously doubt I will give this place a second try.

One of my favorite pizza places. The thin-crust style takes me back to my youth. The setting not the greatest in town, but I put up with it for the greasy pepperoni. Sometimes the juke box is a little louder than it needs to be.

I have to say in the Salem/Keizer area this is one of my favorite pizza places, of course it’s a close race with some of the other places mentioned in other reviews. We’ve been here multiple times and are never disappointed. We usually get the JC’s Special(I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called) and occasionally a side of «spuds.» Personally for me the spuds are a bit too salty but my husband loves those seasoned fried potato slices. The pizzas are reasonably priced for what you get and I think the one order of spuds is an appetizer that could easily be shared by at least four people. Pizza crust is thin and crunchy but always perfectly cooked. The ingredients are fresh and generously portioned on your pizza. I do think the sauce could use a little more pizazz but it’s not terrible by any means. The atmosphere in this place is causal with lots of seating. I like the exposed beams and the fire pits throughout the place. Seating areas are divided up into different sections so even if it’s packed in one area there are still other sections you can sit and not be bothered by the sound from the group. This place is great for parties, as there seems to be one ever time we’ve been there. One downside is on a busy night or with multiple groups it can get pretty loud. For $ 200 you can order a GIANT pizza! The pizza pan is almost as tall as I am when it’s on it’s side! Don’t forget to order 3 days in advance for this monster! Whenever we go there I always wonder if it ever actually got ordered. Then low and behold on our last trip to JC’s there was a large party and sitting on 2 tables pushed together was the monster pizza! What a sight that was! Overall I’d recommend you give this place a try, if you don’t like crowds go one evening during the week and enjoy!

For those who love Walery’s Pizza in West Salem but are far away, look no further than J. C’s Pizza in Keizer. The food is virtually identical — the pizza’s prices, tastes, and style are practically the same. The setting and scene is similar as well — large families, «little league» sponsored memorabilia, and beer /salad. The restaurant is neither as big nor does it feature as good a parking as Walery’s, however its location along the busy River Road is far superior than the remote West Salem Edgewater location. The service is often apathetic(full of HS boys working) so therefore its recommended to do to-go(even though there is a .50 cent charge :()
