Mayfield Family Healthcare

Communication could be improved. Overall, good enough.

I haven’t needed a doctor in a while, but I recently developed a cough that would not go away. I used the website
to see what options were close to home. After looking over the various reviews, I selected Mayfield Family Healthcare.
The entire process of getting seen (I was not actually seen by the doctor, but a PA (Michelle), which was fine) was smooth and painless. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful and I was given an appointment for the same day. I arrived a little early to fill out the new patient paperwork. Having completed this I waited just a few minutes before my name was called, before my scheduled appointed. Wow, can’t remember the last time this happened at a doctor’s office.
The appointment went fine and I was given a prescription for antibiotics. I also schedule a follow-​up appointment for a physical.
After a few days on the antibiotics my cough started to clear up and about a week later it was gone. Hurray!
The appointment for the physical, also with Michelle, went as smoothly as my initial visit.
Bottom line is that I’m 100% satisfied with Mayfield Family Healthcare.
