Sorry, but a 9AM opening time doesn’t mean the doors are unlocked at 9:15. That’s rude to your customers, and this is how you lose business.

I came here like a month ago to do my eyebrows… All I’m saying is if you like uneven, unshaped, and f***ed up eyebrows than this is the place for you. I stressed to the lady to please not mess up my eyebrows and she did :) and when I saw my eyebrows and saw she hadn’t cleaned my eyebrows up at all I had asked the darker Dominican lady with glasses to please remove the hair above my eyebrows and she said that I would have to pay extra because that’s apart of a facial wax??? Makes no sense. Point is they messed up my eyebrows, don’t ever do your eyebrows there. I should’ve just waited a few days to go see my eyebrows lady Saba at dadeland mall. My eyebrows are everything to me and because of the employee at hair cuttery I have to wait like months to get them to a stage where I can go back to Saba so she can fix them. They’re really bad right now.

I had not had a haircut in 3 years after moving to Miami and Rosie did an amazing job! Took me long enough but I finally found a stylist!

I’ve cut my hair here twice and I have not been disappointed. They listen to what I want(which is key! Because I hate when they do their own«creation» with my hair) And the price is affordable $ 30 – 35 for long hair) Now, I’ve never done hair color or an edgy hairstyle with them. But they’ve cut and styled my guy’s hair and he didn’t come out looking ghetto, or too corporate-ish. He came out with a James Franco style both times. So I was happy. Big points go to paying attention to what you want and following through.

Absolutely awful! I don’t live that close but was in the area. I had blonde hair for almost my whole life and recently went brunette. Brown hair fades quickly on me though so I decided I wanted to go back to blonde but a darker blonde. I had done this once before by using semi-permanent dye. I just moved to Miami recently and didn’t know where to go to get my hair done and didn’t want to waste a ton of money. I was in the shopping center and saw Hair Cuttery so figured I would pop in. They let me know they could do what I was looking for and there was no wait. My hair stylist was Sandra. She told me my hair was crooked and that it was 2 different shades of brown. I told her to go ahead and cut it and that I wanted to go dark blonde. I also showed her a picture of my hair in the past when it was dark blonde. She put the dye on and we waited. When she went to wash it out she said it was really golden. I was a little nervous it was going to be super blonde but having super blonde hair in the past I wasn’t too concerned. When I looked in the mirror it was red. She explained we needed to dry it to see the real color. After drying it my hair was a reddish brown. I was so annoyed since it was nothing like what I asked for and I would never want red hair. After cutting and doing a treatment on my hair she kept telling me that my hair was dark blonde and that it would fade. I explained that it was not what I wanted at all. She told me to let it go for a couple days and come back in if I was still unhappy. I asked the lady at the counter what color my hair was and she said brown. I left paying $ 89(she gave me $ 10 off for being unhappy). The next weekend my hair was still red and I was miserable so I went back in. I showed Sandra a couple more pictures of what I wanted. She put some kind of product in my hair to make it lighter. After that my hair was a light red almost orange color. Then she suggested we dye it back to light brown and add highlights which I agreed would be fine. After that my hair came out brown with a couple blonde highlights but for the most part still looks brown. It still is not what I wanted but is way better than the red so I accepted it. Then they charged me $ 50 for the highlights. I explained why I shouldn’t have had to pay for the highlights since I was just coming back in for Sandra to fix my hair but they explained I didn’t have to pay for the dye again but that I still had to pay for the highlights. Well after spending almost $ 150 and still not having the hair I wanted I must say I am one unhappy customer. I could have gone to a nicer hair salon for that much and had them do it properly the first time!

I’ve gotten tired of paying an arm and a leg to get a decent haircut and since the last couple of times I got my hair straightened at higher end salons, I was mostly dissatisfied with it, I decided to do my hair more affordably. I called in the morning and they made an appointment for me in the afternoon. I came in about 10 minutes before my appointment time and my stylist was finishing up someone else. I expected to wait a lot longer but I was in the chair discussing my do by my appointment time. My stylist was Felix who is phenomenal. I recommend asking for him. He’s super knowledgeable but also really attentive to what I wanted. I brought pictures of what my short hair looked like before and he asked me to grab some photos of what it looked like from the back so he would be sure he was doing what I wanted. We started with the cut. He did a great job of styling it exactly like I wanted it, with a fantastic shape and bounce. He was also really fun to talk to, like the kind of person you become instantly best friends with. He put in my keratin, not skimping on product and leaving it in for the right amount of time. One of my biggest pet peeves is having to shell out a couple of hundred for this stuff and the hair stylist leaves it in for 15 minutes so she can get to her other clients. When he went to blow dry and iron it, we moved to the back room so the smoke wouldn’t fill the room, which I thought was really thoughtful to other customers. I’ve done the straightening thing enough times to know when the treatment is being done well and when it works well. My curly hair returns to it’s natural shape the second it touches water, and even at other salons, as soon as they do the second rinse, I start to see waves in there. But not this time. This time it was straight as an arrow even right after re-rinsing it. He made sure to leave in the conditioner for the appropriate time too, about 15 minutes. When my hair was dry again, he took a little bit of weight off the back since my hair has a lot of volume. I didn’t even ask him to, but it shows his level of expertise. The woman working the front was also really courteous and checked up on us a few times. I would 100% recommend this place and I’ll definitely go back to Felix to let him work his magic. I couldn’t be happier.
