I hated dentists until I met Dr. Dorantes. He is absolutely brilliant! He is so knowledgable and efficient at what he does, and he always has your best interest in mind. I can’t say enough good things about this place.
In the past few months, I’ve had cavities filled, a root canal done, and my wisdom teeth extracted here and each time I was so impressed with the doctor. He takes the time to educate you about the procedure and executes them with no pain or issues whatsoever. I have to mention how helpful and kind his staff is too.
I will be coming back here with whatever dental needs I have in the future and will recommend this place to family and friends as well.

Lakeview Smiles helped me when I thought no help was available.
I went to Dr. Dorantes and straight asked him to pull a tooth that another dentist had previously treated. I was convinced it needed to come out. After 2 crowns, a root canal and several years of discomfort, I was done. I wanted it out. Dr. D persuaded me that the tooth was still solid and salvageable. He removed the old crown, put on a temp and then I waited 2 weeks for the new crown to come in. I knew that it would be better, but how much. The new crown went on last night. I cannot believe how much better it feels in just 24 hours. There is no pain, pressure, tightness or soreness. Like a crying baby that finally went to sleep. I am so thankful.
The entire staff at Lakeview Smiles is friendly to a fault. Careful, reassuring and pleasant. My first visit was 2 years ago after a relocation to Kenmore. A broken filling sending me to a new dentist. Afterwards, Dr. D called me that night to make sure that I was comfortable and there were no additional problems. The Dentist called me. Himself. On Friday night. My future referrals and references will all be to go and see these kind people. Lets face it, nobody loves having their teeth worked on. But, Lakeview Smiles has earned my trust and appreciation.

I have nothing but positive things to say. I had been putting off going to the dentist for several years until the other day when my tooth cracked and I didn’t have a choice. Without having a primary dentist I called my insurance company and they suggested Lakeview Smiles. I am SO glad they did. Not only were they able to squeeze me in to be seen, they were also able to fix my issue quickly. Dr. Benjamin Dorantes is very open and honest about what needs to be done and took the time to make sure I understood everything before starting the work. He even called me at home later that evening to make sure I was still doing well! The office staff is incredibly friendly and the customer service is amazing. I would (and have already) recommended this place to friends and family.

The staff at Lakeview Smiles are very friendly and Dr. Benjamin Dorantes is great! Instead of charging me for a crown (like 2 other dentists tried to do) he informed me that it did not need a crown and fixed my broken tooth perfectly in like 5 minutes! I was shocked and expecting a big ordeal with this tooth, but Dr. Dorantes fixed it right up and I was out of there! Yay!
