Nothing spectacular here. I’m not much of a soft taco guy, but there didn’t seem to be much flavoring. I just wanted to try some place new.

Food trucks have really seen a change in culture these past 5 years, so it’s actually such a different feeling when you eat at a taco truck in the local gas station parking lot and is not run by 27 year-old second gen Asians with degrees in Biology and Early Childhood Development trying to sell you some banh mi tacos or whatever crazy concoctions they come up with nowadays. How is it different? Trucks like these don’t solely focus so much on getting Unilocal reviews, rather they just cook the food how they know how to. There’s something refreshing about that. Maybe it’s just me, but when I go to places like these I tend to not think too much about whether the food is seasoned enough, whether it would’ve been better if the asada should be chopped in larger size(it’s the perfect size here btw) or any other stuff like that. Sometimes you just want to sit and eat; and that just feels damn good! That’s how I felt when I ate here, and I’ll definitely come back.

The meat is always tender and seasoned perfectly. I recommend the quesadilla, burritos, or tacos. Not slamming the other menu items. These are just what I’ve tried so far(with pork and beef) and they are absolutely delicious.

Not the same truck as a couple years ago and the best Taco Truck I’ve found in Seattle area anywhere to date. Tasty, reasonably priced, quickly made, friendly serviced, simple mexican tacos. Can’t ask for much more than that! Guacamole sauce is also quite good(better at Aca Las Tortas but still good here) and while I’ve tried tacos carnitas and pollo tacos I always go for asada. Most taco trucks and restaurants cook the asada to an inch of it’s life, dry, chewy, lacking flavor. Not so, here. Been 4 times and every time was delicious and perfect with lightly grilled onion on side and sliced radish. delicious quesadilla also with sliced tomato, sliced avocado lettuce on side. One of these days will try the burritos and tortas but haven’t gotten tired of the tacos yet. Highly recommended.

The best taco truck I’ve found yet. The burrito’s are large, inexpensive and very tasty. They make their own hot sauce, and it is some of the best I’ve ever had. Will continue to eat here regularly as long as it has its current owner/operators.

The taco truck sits in the parking lot of a Chevron. I was the only patron during lunch time that wasn’t a Spanish speaker so that seemed promising. There is a large shed that has bench tables which serves as indoor seating and there is also a picnic bench right next to the truck. Owner was nice and friendly and cooked to order. We ordered a carne asada burrito and adovada tacos. The tortillas were delicious and for a total of $ 12($ 6 per order), this was a really decent lunch. I was really craving Mexican food and having grown up in San Diego and lived in Tucson, this satisfied that craving. The carne asada was well seasoned and tender. The burrito itself had a lot of rice and beans that served as a filler which wasn’t bad. The adovada had great flavor and coupled with grilled onion and also thinly sliced radishes, it was also tasty. Tacos came with rice and refried beans that were also good. We got two types of sauce– one was a red chili based sauce that had a really good kick to it and the other a green avocado cream. Both complimented the food well.

I’m not a big fan of Mexican food, but I love their beef tongue burrito.

The name of the truck now is Taqueria La Raza, but there are signs saying That Taco Truck as well. It seems this truck has changed hands a couple times. Great tacos and pollo asado. Had the adovada(marinated pork) tacos and it was fantastic. All it needed was a tiny bit of grilled pineapple and it could have come straight from the Yucatan.

Turns out this truck has a new owner as of 3 days ago. Seems like a nice guy. The«spicy pork» taco was full of tender juicy pork. Not spiced to my tastes and it had pineapple on it — but more than worth the $ 1.50 I paid. I suggest giving it a try.

I went late afternoon, no line, ordered 3 tacos(steak, chicken breast and spicy pork.). Delivered fast(3 – 4 min) All tasty but my fav was the spicy pork. Great lunch for under $ 5.

An embarrassment to taco trucks anywhere. Our first and last time. We had been shopping for hours and were starving. We spotted this place in the parking lot of a Shell gas station. So we thought we’d give it a try. I love tacos! But not theirs. The tacos tortillas were slimy and undercooked. My torta was very dry. The carne tasted like dog food, not that I’ve eaten it but it might of been. The bread was so dry. The other ingredients didn’t taste fresh at all. We had ordered 6 tacos and a reg. torta. We barely finished three tacos and half the torta. I was so disapointed that we waited at least 15 minutes for this.(We were the only people there) Later my bo and I suffered tummy aches. Never again will I visit the Shell Taco Truck!

WIthout further ado, I re-present my First taco truck experience at it’s proper address, and(according to my research) proper name. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - My name is Riss, and up until last Friday, I had a secret… I had never been to a taco truck. That’s right, I was a taco truck virgin. I’m not sure how to review this place, since I was treated to lunch by someone whom I know to drool and breath heavily when describing good taco experiences, and this one didn’t really grind his gears in that sort of way. Located in the parking lot of the Shell gas station at this address, parking is surely a bit of a challenge if the gas station is hopping, but they have set up a few tables and such to allow for«here» dining. Service was not as fast as i would have expected, but there was a fair size lunch crowd still hanging round and ordering when we arrived. I was the sole Caucasian and woman, and Don was the sole«non Mexican» male present. That’s gotta mean something, right? The apparently specialize in sandwiches, which I didn’t know taco trucks did, but OK. They have *cough eye roll* witty *sigh* names for them, like the«Jennifer Lopez», etc. A bite or two of tacos and about a quarter of the massive quesadilla and it was about all I could eat. I wouldn’t say I was amazed, but I wasn’t really disappointed either. so… just like your virginal experience of a different variety *wink* isn’t the best you’ll ever have(or at least I certainly hope to God it isn’t for you), neither do I expect this to be my best taco truck experience. Oh, and as an added bonus, they are independent Avon dealers!
