I love this store! Great prices on crafts and if you have a coupon… You’re really getting a deal! I found some great holiday items today and some great things for the house too.

This place is glorious. I went for butcher paper and saw they have lots of great stuff for home décor and craft projects. We were in a hurry, so I didn’t have a chance to look like I wanted to. The staff was very helpful so I’ll definitely be back.

I visited this HL location yesterday and was very happy to find that the store was the EXACT same layout of my Dunwoody store just reversed. That made things SO easy to find! Very clean store and good location.

Went in last night with my mom to look for some decorations and envelopes for a baby shower. Employees were nice and helpful. They had a nice variety of ribbon for a decoration Mom is making. Employees took the time to help us find items even though the store was about to close. I like the company values. They close earlier than other stores in the area so employees can get home to their families. Some folks may not like some policies but I didn’t see employees whining and griping about birth control. Wish folks would judge a store based on shopping experience and not politics.

Hobby Lobby is great, with the exception that you’re likely to spend hours here(and actually, they could use better signs to indicate what’s in each aisle, cuz there’s so much!) As someone that has craft ADD, this place provides tons of different activities — I find a new hobby every time I come in. They also have a great selection of party décor, frames, decorations, baskets, paper… whatever you could think of! And if you’ve got a smartphone, they always have a 40%-off-one-item coupon on their website.

I just love Hobby Lobby. They always have everything i need, the store is clean, employees are friendly and don’t bother you, the aisles are wide and not claustrophobic, and they support Christian rights :) Yes please.

I came in here to grab one thing and ended up spending 3 hours and filling my cart full of crap I didn’t even need. The store and the aisles are broken down by theme. They have everything from children, teen, cowboy, sports and even zebra crap. I didn’t know I needed a porcelain hot pink crown until I got here but I literally fought off 2 other people for it! I thought Ikea was bad but this place is an ADD wonderland! Everything is on sale, they sell drinks and candy to keep your energy going and the staff is friendly.

Okay so I’m torn here. The prices are great and I can always find something I need at this place at the cheapest price around. I’ve had a really GREAT experience with an employee in the framing department(young male) and then quite the snooty/unhelpful experience with a different framing specialist(young female) and then another great experience(older female). I’m a young female, go figure! So, only suggestion here, tell the young female employees to be nicer to the young female shoppers. You may not like your job but no need to be rude when I’m being nice to you, jeez! ALWAYS check online for a coupon. Their mobile app is SO easy and you can just show it at the cash register. I swear half of the store is always 50% off. Do check every item as sometimes there’s wear and tear with people rummaging through merchandise and returns and such. I always respect a store that is closed on Sundays, even though that’s when I always have time to shop!

Here’s one of my hobbies: I like doing 1000pc jigsaw puzzles of dead musicians. I don’t do the same puzzle twice(these deserve to be framed and passed down), so I’m always in need of new puzzles. I figured there’s a good chance Hobby Lobby was having a mad puzzle sale on Black Friday. After all, isn’t it a place for people with solitary and/or domestic hobbies? Well, sort of. I quickly discovered that it’s also– if not mostly– for women who just like to shop and decorate their houses. The store is huge, like Michael’s and TJ Maxx combined and tripled. They carry a lot of cutesy, decorative stuff. Photo frames alone take up about 4 whole aisles and are granted a special display area. Soo where are the jigsaw puzzles? Occupying a modest 1⁄3 of an aisle in Siberia of a corner. I had to ask THREE employees to locate them. And the jigsaw puzzles they carried were so sad. I think I saw only one Ravensburger(the mac daddy of jigsaws), and a lot of the pictures were lame. Definitely no dead musicians. I think the message Hobby Lobby is sending me is clear: jigsaw puzzling as a hobby is dead along with your favorite musicians. Psh, that ain’t gonna stop me from throwing my jigsaw + wine parties. I was quite alright because there was so much to look at. I ended up browsing for close to an hour(!) and got some stuff for my bathroom. Not relevant to any of my hobbies but cheap and useful. So while Hobby Lobby didn’t fit my original purpose and I wasn’t bursting with creativity and inspiration in there, it’s the place to go for generic decoration stuff around the house. I’d come back here to get materials if I’m doing crafts.

There’s nothing that I love more than Hobby Lobby for all my craft supplies!!! They’ve got everything you need for baking, sewing, scrapbooking, home decorating… you get the idea. Their prices are usually cheaper than the competition’s(conveniently located a few blocks away) It seems as if everything eventually goes on sale, so don’t ever pay retail! But if you must, there’s always a printable coupon that they offer on their website for 40% off. Their employees are usually very nice and helpful with the exception of the last time I went there. I asked a stocker where the sequins were. She told me they were in the«craft section»(um, what? The entire store could be called the«craft section» can we be a little more specific?) and then she gave me some random aisle number off the top her head.(how’d I know? Because I just came from there and it didn’t have sequins) Clearly she didn’t know what she was talking about, no worries cuz the place is practically crawling with employees and I managed to find one that knew what she was talking about. *phew*

Where do all of the old ladies in Marietta go to get fabric? IDK, but do they have to drive all the way up to Kennesaw? If so, that’s dangerous for them and us! The city of Marietta should look into this. This store is great, it has everything I need in one store. I don’t have to hopscotch around town for fabric, home décor, greeting cards, good gift items(for mostly women) floral thingys, scrapbooking doo-das, etc, etc. I like it better than Jo-Ann’s really, since it’s not so overwhelming for an old broad like me; however their fabric selection isn’t as big as Jo-Ann’s. I also like the older school feel of it. Call me old-fashioned, but I still like for someone to hand-write my fabric order. They have good weekly sales and you can usually find a 40% off coupon online… hmm what should my next sewing project be?
