Domino’s Pizza

This time, I used the online order by web for pickup. My 3 stars is on the online ordering process.
Good points:
It was pretty easy, didn’t have to give out a lot of personal information, just name, phone number, and I did provide email but I don’t know if that was optional. There was an option for «I want emails from Dominos on specials» but you could unclick that. My pizza was ready when I went to pick it up. WHOOPEE!!!
Bad points:
The online ordering pretty much «presumes» you want LARGE. It doesn’t really give you the option for small or medium, but if you click under «CUSTOMIZE» then you can change to small or medium. But who would think to do that? To me, «Customize» means whether you want extra cheese or special crust or additional ingredients to the standards they offer. Who would think «customize» would include sizes? So, that’s my THUMBS DOWN point. They don’t make it easy for you to order medium or small online. You have to hunt for it!

So tonight I tried to use the new online app awesome coupon for 50% any pizza. I was having trouble with figuring out how to order half one kind of pizza and half another. Called the store. Very nice young lady explained to me how to do that online using the app and it worked!.. all the way up until the end, when the app error coded us at check out after spending 15 min trying to order. Called the store agian spoke with very nice young Women named Elva, after explaining our frustration she offered to honor the online deal and saved us over $ 10 on this pizza. The reason I give 5 stars to this domino’s is that even though we had issues with ordering, this location has great staff like Elva which provided me with excellent customer service and and a happy experience in the end.

Fast and friendly there staff had our pizza done in no time flat great tasting pizza delivery or carry out, they offer different sauses, they make wings pasta and more

Service has always been awesome when either picking up a pizza or having one delivered. Staff is always friendly, professional and seem to enjoy their jobs.

Delivers quick, Always friendly staff, we usually order the Pasta, and are only disappoint when its all gone! :-D

Got delivered wrong order. Called and got great customer service, offered my order be delivered again or gift card. Took less then 2 mins on phone. Mistakes happen!

Dominos is always a favorite
Great menu and garlic buttered crust
but boy do they need work
They need to make rates reasonable for the common family it’s not a restaurant it’s fast-​food remember this
And make sure it’s arriving hot for delivery
And stop charging for sauces

It’s easy to give this Clearwater location 5 stars. First is the excellent overall Pie itself. nobody in the TC really makes a better pizza for the money that’s a given but I’ve actually not found a better pie even at the $ 20+ places.

I usually have a pretty good experience here, and for the most part haven’t ever had any gripes. I ordered a week or two ago when they were running their 50% special for any large pizza. Any pizza for $ 9 was a steal. So I got two pizzas, a regular pepperoni and a Hawaiian. When my order arrived the delivery person was polite but much to my dismay my pepperoni was over cooked and almost burnt, but the Hawaiian was perfect. I went back on the site and reviewed my experience not expecting much, just letting them know that they shouldn’t send burnt pizzas out the door and forgot about it. Well here it is 2 weeks or so later and I received a hand written letter in the mail from dominos addressed to «Pizza Lover». I opened it up and found a gift certificate for one large pizza. I was honestly a little concerned since I had forgotten about the review and didnt know why I was getting a hand written note & Gift certificate in the mail until my husband reminded me about the review. Its really nice to see that they do read the reviews and care about customer experience.

After spending the entire day moving furniture, we were just too tired to cook or go out to eat. We decided Domino’s was our best option, since they are less than a mile away. I thought about driving there, but decided to do the «online ordering». The first thing I did was check out the menu, and discovered that Domino’s now makes «Artisan» pizzas! Having recently eaten at a new local artisan pizza establishment, I thought it would be interesting to compare selection, quality, and price.
We ordered the Italian sausage/​pepper pizza with extra sausage. We could follow the progress online on Domino’s website during the entire process, and from the time our pizza was ordered until the time it was delivered was 21 minutes. The pizza was delivered hot, the driver was courteous and polite, and even with the added sausage, delivery charge, and tip, the pizza still cost way less that at the artisan pizza place! The pizza was a little larger than at the «other» place, too. As for taste — it was every bit as good — even better. The crust was a little thicker and more filling.
We ate in peace in our family room and opened a nice bottle of wine to enjoy with our pizza. We will definitely try Domino’s artisan menu again!

Thanks Dominos for not letting me use the restroom. What secrets are hiding in there? No soap for the employees maybe? Next time I will get my pizza from one of the many other pizza joints in Tri Cities. Regardless of whether the pizza was good or not, the wait was torturous.

We typically eat one pizza when it comes to delivery and that is Round Table (Why change a winning formula). However we noticed the adds last year that the whole chain had a make over and the situation came up where we needed a quick dinner between outings. As a big fan of thin crust, I was dying to try out their new formula. We stoped in for a quick carry out and I ordered a couple of their medium thin crusts.
The inside area is small of course, since this location is not a dine in establishment. The smell of pizza sauce and crust bakeing was apparent. They had a small selection of drinks in a cooler in the corner. They had two people working the ovens and counter so they were moving pretty rapidly (must have been a few orders for delivery).
I asked about specials and the waitstaff was helpful enough but didnt offer anything that enticing. I went with the plan of the two thin crusts and was told it would be about fifteen minutes. Worked out perfect cause I had a chance to run down the street and grab drinks. I got back about ten minutes later and they were pulling out and boxing our pies.
We got home, set the kids up and dug in. Our pizza was a tad overcooked and a little burnt on the bottom. The crust had an odd taste that I didnt particularly care for. It was thin but was very generic tasting. I was hoping that they had changed somewhat after the big media campaign. The toppings were sparse (probably pre-​measured) and the sauce was kinda bland. I guess for the price it was probably a decent deal. I mean you get what you pay for right.
That is exactly how I felt about this Domino’s. It was cheap and cheap tasting. It did the trick for a quick meal though, so for that I can give it a couple stars. In the future, I wont get a pizza when we need a quick dinner. Fast food would be a better option. And since I wont be in a hurry to get a quick made pizza, I will make time to try one of the better tasting places out there.

Domino’s is top notch these days. Best tasting chain pizza for the value.
The crust has a nice garlic butter coating, sauce is nicely flavored and textured, and the toppings are balanced well.
We’ve never had bad or slow service.

I think Dominoe’s did a pretty good job at the revamp to their sauce and their crust wasn’t bad either.
