Dear God, I have a new obsession. Please let my kitchen look like this store… someday. Oui! Oh my, it’s beautifully designed to separate you from your wallet. It’s broken down by color, all of which are lovely. I was especially taken by the cassis and Caribbean! Oh how my wish list just grew! But I’ll have to save my pretty pennies first(or Euros!) cuz these are pricey, make no mistake. We are talking $ 260 for an 8 quart Dutch oven, and so on. So my collection will have to be a gradual build, that’s for sure. But like Joanna said in her review, they offer additional discounts in the 30% range which is no small savings at those prices, resulting in REAL outlet savings, not just a glorified mall price– and they warranty their products up to 100 years, even discontinued lines. WOW. I hope when you visit, you are lucky enough to have Holly assist you. I don’t know if she was a manager, but girl knows her stuff, is so helpful and laid back without any pressure. She must know these cast-iron and stoneware beauties sell themselves. She even mentioned a no-knead bread recipe that can be risen overnight, then cooked off in their Dutch oven(due to the extraordinarily tight seal with the lids). She then showed me her pics of doing so at home on her iPhone. It looked extremely crusty and artisan! Very cool. She was as nice as can be even with my battery of questions. Really liked her! In any case, it was a soothing and eye-opening visit. I was simultaneously relaxed and frenetic; don’t ask me how! Lol I can’t wait to start my collection. It’s just one more reason I adore France! Vive la France!(And vive Le Creuset!)

Getting ready to make thanksgiving my b$*!ch means a stop at the Le Creuset factory store since hell no am I paying $ 350 for a pot, no matter how good it is. I scored a monster 7qt dutch oven that I’ll have forever, at about 50% off regular price, plus a giant pair of turkey forks. The staff was extremely helpful too, pointing us to the best deals and making sure nothing was chipped or scratched. They often run specials with 25−35% off the outlet price and there is a clearance table in the back that is 40% off. Usually«outlets» offer dubious savings but this one is the real deal. I scored the Mercedes of cookware at a Honda Civic price.

For an outlet store its A-Okay. Unlike most other outlet stores there is hardly any sale pricing. I guess its assumed that all prices in the store are already discounted. However for a new customer, it’d been great if someone mentioned that. I’m not a newbie to outlet shopping. I scanned bar codes with my smart phone to check local deals to see if the pricing was good. By the way, this area is a huge bumpty blocking 4G signals and local WI-FI. So I had to walk around trying to find a decent signal. Many of the items on the shelves were priced at about 10−20% off their normal pricing but the store wasn’t running any super special deals. I found a set of glass containers with a plastic pop top for storing at almost 40% off but the pricing wasn’t as good as the same containers found at Oneida(recently) for 60% off with free shipping. There is a lot of good stuff to view here and if Le Creuset is a favorite brand, it might be more worth your time to check out. In store staff are pretty sweet and like to check up on you from time to time. Understand that amongst other outlet stores, they hardly get walk in customers.

Oh man. I don’t have nearly enough room in my kitchen for all the goodies I’d love to bring home from this place. We stopped in yesterday and I decided I needed… something, finally, to start building a little collection. Settled on 4 ramiekins. Went to the register where I was asked if I had my coupon. Um, no. The very friendly salesperson had a basket with coupons — scratch the circle to see what you win! I was planning to buy anyway so the extra 25% off let me get a few more things. Quite nice. Folks are very friendly and the store is well-laid out with a nice selection. Some items are pretty expensive but I suppose I’d rather pay outlet prices, especially on sale items and if they have coupons you can use. Now, since I think I may have a small addiction blooming, I will definitely be back to buy, rather than the browsing we used to do.

Black Friday at Le Creuset was successful. While I couldn’t get one of the amazingly beautiful orange dutch ovens that I’ve been orgasming over from afar(it was slightly cheaper here but I wasn’t ready to drop the dough just yet), I still managed to come out with some GREAT products for amazingly low prices. I bought a casserole dish and some other goodies in cactus green(this color is being discontinued so they’re trying to get rid of what they have in stock) and barely paid anything for them compared to what their original prices were. Holler! Also — the sales girl(who was in pj’s; I LOVE that the store allowed them to do that on such a hectic day) was super friendly and very helpful! She was walking around with a calculator, pricing things out for me(a bunch of stuff was 40% off). Groovy chick, she was. Double holler! Finally — the store was one of the few that night/morning that was NOT crowded. Triple holler! Do people not know how amazing Le Creuset is? Shooooot. If you don’t…sucks to be you.
