I wish I could leave no stars. I’ve never experienced such rude and mean service from anywhere ever before. I was trying to plan a party there and rent the upstairs, spending probably close to a thousand dollars there. I have been trying to set up an appointment for almost 4 weeks and was finally told I could come in during a certain range of days. So I did and apparently Matt was not there to help us, even though he said he would be. Go to 4 days later and we still haven’t heard from him. So i sent an email asking if we were going to be able to get it done because well, we’re planning a party I need time to plan! And his response was for me to «use some common sense» because I came in «when they were preparing for a party». Wow. Unreal. Stay away. Far far away.

Gotta have a Calzone. I haven’t found anything else like it in Kenosha… build your own or make it in the style of one of their pizzas. They’re huge and delicious.

So my best friend had her birthday party on the second level. Everyone had a wondeful time and I thought it was a great party. A few days later I check my bank account and they charged me $ 12 on a $ 6 bill. And like an idiot I didn’t think to grab my copy of the recipt so jokes on me. If you ever do go there, grab your recipts just in case…

My sister and I went here for dinner tonight. We got the friend green beans for a starter. We enjoyed the crunch and the green beans weren’t mushy like you might think. They also came with a yummy sauce. Unfortunately, I could tell they were not homemade because their breading was completely uniform. Then I got the chicken pot pie entrée. It came with salad(nice mixed greens and good ceasar dressing) and a bread basket(which the waitress forgot to give me, until i was nearly finished. She brought it over with a to-go box so I could take it home.). My sister had the meatball bomber and she was really pleased with it. There was a bunch of mozzarella melted on top(not enough marinara for my taste) and she was crazy for the meatballs. The waitress/bartender was really nice too. This is a solid B type of place. I will also say that there is a lot of potential too though. Like another commenter said, their menu items often are great ideas and pretty original, but the execution is a little below amazing. I do hope more people start coming here, and they can grow and improve. The owner is a really good guy.

Had a cocktail while a local band played on «beach party Night» Didn’t really want to dress in Beach wear in february in Wisconsin, but I appreciated the grass skits taped to the bar and table, cute. Bartenders are nice enough, but no one said hello when we entered the bar. Didn’t notice that they had food, but looking at other review apparently they do, wish I would have known as we actually left because I got hungry. Place looks really clean, and I would totally come back to meet friends– lends it self to groups very well.

I recently held a memorial gathering for 65 people at Main Street Pub and the owner Matt and his staff were attentive and on the ball for catering to a large group. The food, pizza especially(everyone was raving about it) was delicious, great service, and good beer. I am eternally grateful for everything and would definitely recommend Main Street Pub for a night out. Thanks Matt! From my heart for making my friends and family feel welcomed and well taken care of. Sincerely Kim and family

Let’s start with the positive– this place has a classy feel to it. Hardwood floors, tasteful décor, wine racks behind the bar. Plenty of options for your cocktail of choice. The potential is absolutely there. Now for the negative. My husband and I came here for dinner and the food is mediocre at best. Its not a question of the options, but of the execution. The Horse Shoe sandwich and Cubano are excellent ideas(well known sandwiches that you can’t get anywhere else around here), but because they’re very cheaply done they’re nothing to write home about whatsoever(I wish we would have ordered the pizza). The ham comes off tasting rubbery in the Cubano and there was very little pork(the best part). The Horse Shoe is an excellent idea, but it’s made with a very(obviously) cheap frozen hamburger patty and has no finesse. We also had the artichoke dip which was extremely greasy(not creamy, but literally a pool of grease with the artichoke pieces and some shredded cheese on top) and SEASONED tortilla chips(odd pairing). If these sandwiches were really done right and the recipes prepared well, there’s no doubt in my mind this place could be great. As for now, we probably won’t return. The owner is nice, the service was efficient, but there are much better restaurants/pubs in town that have the same ambiance and better food.
