The staff were very friendly but it seemed like the flow was off. Everyone seemed to be working really hard but we waited a long time for anyone to acknowledge us walking in or to get waited on at the table. Everyone at the bar had empty drinks and seemed quietly disgruntled. The food was good, not sure if the two portion sizes thing is helpful or confusing?

The dinner I had last night was amazing! I chose the 4 course dinner. It is perfect for someone who wants to try a little bit of everything.
The only complaint was the chewy calimari. My friend had the gorganzola steak, it was the best steak ever. The service was excellent.

This small, quaint, and perfect neighborhood bistro style restaurant is wonderful. The wife and I had been curious for some time, and finally gave it a shot. It rates light years above the median shown. We started with calamari that was perfectly prepared in a fragrant fresh sauce and was amazing. The artisan bread and warm oil dipping sauce was beautifully delightful. For dinner I had crab and scallops. The crab smelled fresh and was moist and delicious. The scallops had a perfect seare and were moist and delicious. The wife had chicken Marsala and quite simply loved it. Chicken was moist and tender, and the sauce was fabulous. The vegetables were crunchy and not raw. We sat at the counter and watched everything; no microwaves, no cans, and everything was fresh. A must try for sure, and worth every dollar! Oh yea, almost forgot. Service was perfect.

Went on an apparently busy Friday night at 7 which was right in the middle of rush hour dinner. Found the restaurant through opentable and made a reservation there. Relatively small intimate sized restaurant. Seated right away by a very friendly host/​waiter gentleman. Great friendly guy. Food was good. Really enjoyed the texture of the pasta. Seafood tasted fresh and all the food was well seasoned.
Salad on the other hand was not fresh. Wife ended up picking out 1⁄3 of the wilted browny mush (if uve seen older salad u know what I’m talking about) salad out. Maybe a bad batch? For how fresh other things tasted surprised to see something as simple as a salad served this way.
Very slow service. Waitress was very nice but the sequence and time it took to get our food from the kitchen was tediously long. Took at least an hour before we got our main dish and sporadically delivered our soup salad and appetizer.
Overall food was good except for the salad and maybe go when it’s not peak time for service.

I forget how great this place is. Anything with the walnut cream sauce is so good. Desserts are amazing and pasta is super fresh. We had the steak gorgonzola and it was one of the most tender steaks I have had in long time. And Paolo wasn’t even in the kitchen! He has trained his staff well. And such a reasonable price point. Staff is great. Really responsive.

We went to celebrate our anniversary. I ordered a signature pasta dish and it was a bit dry and not much sauce. I expected more from a signature dish. Our guests wanted the waiter to know it was our anniversary in hope that they would do something special. They just congratulated us. It was a disappointing anniversary dinner, and we will not be returning.

The food lived up to all the hipe I read, however the service was poor. We initially waited almost 10mins before we acknowledged by our waiter (we are a party of 7).

Great food and service! We both had the early dining special and enjoyed it. I had the chicken gorgonzola and my husband had the chicken marsala. Both were excellent!
This was our first time here. We plan to come back. The early dining special is about $ 22 for a four course meal. It is worth the price.

I placed an online order for spaghetti & meatballs & a small caprese salad. When I came in, I was told that they got the order, but couldn’t see what I had ordered. I had to sit down & wait for them to actually start my order. And when I first came in, I had to stand there a while until someone even helped me.
The food here is very mediocre. The salad was fine, I mean how hard is it to slice some tomatoes & mozzarella?
The spaghetti was awful. They ran out of meatballs so they substituted the bolognese sauce. I could have made a better spaghetti for less than half of what they charged me.
This restaurant is way too overpriced for where it’s located at & for the quality of food you’re getting. Ridiculously bad.

First time at Paolo’s tonight. We had a great experience. We were greeted by County as soon as we walked in the door. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Service was fast, food tasted great. They did everything they could to help our 1 year old daughter be content :) nothing I can say that would have improved anything. Sorry we didn’t get the waitresses name, she was very friendly and attentive. Thank you all! We’ll be back!

I have been a customer of this restaurant since I was 11 years old and I hope they stick around forever! Their summer specials are delicious but you can always find something great to eat here. It’s a cozy setting and a wonderful break from the chain restaurants that seem to rule Kent. Love love love

There is not enough praise for the food from this restaurant. The menu, while a touch small, is executed wonderfully. The dessert menu is also wonderful. If you want real Italian food and a polite, professional experience, please go here. They are so, so great and the food is beyond wonderful. My only complaint is that they aren’t open between their lunch and dinner service, but… it’s worth the wait if you don’t mind waiting to go in.
The food and service have always been beyond excellent the many times I go in there. They seem to actually care about the feedback their customers provide and will interact and engage with you. It’s very nice to have such a wonderful place so close by that serves real Italian. Totally worth the trip in.

Absolutely love coming here. One of the top Italian restaurants I have been to. Everything is made to order, therefore taking a little longer to receive the meal (authentically Italian). I also loved that they heat up the oil now for the bread prior to dinner. I would suggest to get their minestrone soup (it is the best EVER) it is pesto based, a must try you will fall in love. I would suggest to make a reservation it is a smaller restaurant that fills up fast. I haven’t had anything i did not enjoy, last time I got the ravioli with walnut cream sauce, so delicious! I will be a life time customer!

I’ve tried it twice. Food wasn’t great, just ok and yes it was pricey for italian food. Service was ok but I felt like «please eat fast and get out of here» it wasn’t that the servers were not pleasant and professional, they were but you know how you get this feeling that you are just not really welcome? Yes we will take your money but please get out now.
anyway I am glad that we have Kent Station and there are more options now!!!

This «small» place gets pretty good business during the evening (maybe cause it’s one of the few Italian places in Kent?).
The food quality isn’t very good and the prices are pretty expensive. There is a pretty big wait time if you don’t make a reservation and come in the later half of the evening.
The Gorgonzola I had tasted like something you could make from Costco.

I was excited to try this place out because I have driven past it for your years. Walking in it looks like an old school mom and pop places. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. The food prices were pretty steep. I ordered the the seafood fettuccine. The plate it came out was kind of small. The food very very bland. Just noodles and seafood. No cream sauce and no seasoning. The house Pinot grigiot is delicious and only $ 5.50. Glad I tried it but I’ll be surprised if I come back.
