Amazing little place with a great atmosphere and food. Our waitress, Brandi, was the best. Definitely worth the drive for a do-over. Try the Brussels sprouts for an appetizer. Wow!!!

We liked this unique, cozy spot. Great for a date night. While their focus is on wine, their menu highlighting wild game and nouveau dishes is surprising in this small of a town in the middle of the beautiful Hill Country. Definitely worth future visits!

Being the duchess, you’d think I would write the most positive of reviews. For starters, the appetizers of the GOB Father shmear and the nachos(homemade potato chips with blue cheese sauce and green onions) were very good. Service was excellent by our waiter. Here’s the but: My «margarita» flatbread pizza was on the menu as having«garlic, tomatoes, basil, mozzarella.» It arrived without any mozzarella. I was told that the mozzarella was«sprinkled» on the crust but was pretty much not to be found or tasted. Try the chicken sandwich with habanero bacon per my lunch companion. Overall, still a great place to hang out in Kerrville.

LOVED the brussel sprouts appetizer. It was amazing. The ambiance is awesome. Waitresses were very friendly and helpful and food and drinks came quickly. Water kept being refilled quickly. My food came out wrong but within minutes I had my right food. Wine choices were awesome. I have rated this 4 stars because they allow smoking outside and we had 2 smokers next to us for a bit. I wish they didnt but it wasnt too bad as it was breezy that day and not blowing too bad on us.

My Mom and I stayed in Kerrville this last week for a night while out hunting bluebonnets. Grape Juice seemed to be the only nicer above par dining establishment in town, so we decided to hop in and try it. We found Grape Juice to have decent eats and excellent customer service. Their parking is a bit meager — we drove through their ten or so spots to no avail, and ended up parking across the street in the city’s free parking garage instead. We were glad that the option was available. Upon coming in, there isn’t really a hostess per se, but the bartender was quick to greet us and offer us any un-reserved table. We chose a table towards the back, in the corner that was cozy, with a view of the patio,(our first choice, alas, it was full). A nice younger guy brought us cold water, and our waiter was along shortly. We asked our waiter for his recommendation on some white wines, and he did not disappoint. We ordered the two ‘white wine favorites’ on the menu and we liked them both. For the food, we went very different directions. I ordered the pulled pork adobo tacos, and while I thought they were good, they were incredibly spicy. I ate them, but honestly they were just way too spicy for me — which is interesting because the crackeroni my Mom ordered said it had sriracha in it and I asked how spicy that was, and they said not too much, and it wasn’t. The tacos didn’t say spicy at all. They need some consistency on their menu, it appears. Otherwise, the dish was beautifully plated. Their was a really tasty small bowl of nachos in the middle of my plate which helped tame the heat of the tacos, which were placed around the bowl. My Mom loved the crackeroni,(I believe she got the Phoenix, with quail) — she at all of it. For dessert, they didn’t have any gluten free options, which was really disappointing, but they made us a scoop of ice cream with some chocolate and some berries which was nice of them. In addition, my Mom got the pineapple dump cake. While she enjoyed it, it came out cold and she thought it would be much better warmed up. She also thought it had way too many cherries in it. Their space is nice — I’ve seen pictures of their deck outside and it looked really comfortable. I wish we could have sat out there. Otherwise, they have a unique smattering of tables and furniture — spanning couches and chairs with coffee tables in the middle, to half-bench/half-chair seating to full four tops. The space is dramatized by floor to ceiling draperies, and intriguing local photography mixed with beer and wine art. So, I’m giving Grape Juice four stars, but read as 3.5 — I felt three was too low. I think they need to improve their menu descriptions as well as some of their food, their parking, add a hostess stand to give customers ample direction when coming in. Otherwise, this is a charming place to come and enjoy yourself.

Different kind of place. We take all our visitors here at least once. It’s on our list of regular places.

We really enjoyed this! Very eclectic menu but definitely something for everyone. Ordered venison lettuce wraps to share, the Cuban, and grilled 5-cheese sandwich with bacon and tomato. We had the side seasonal berry salad with one entrée and the side chips with beer cheese with the other entrée. Each of these were delicious but the Cuban came with a shredded brisket instead of the traditional pork slices — good but not expected. There is an extensive tap beer selection although we passed on it. We ate on the patio and service was fantastic. We thought the prices were very reasonable and will be back again.

Friendly staff and great food. Our group was well taken care of all night. The menu is hearty abs extensive but go early because the popular items run out. This is one of the few places in town that stays open later, has good customer service and a nice selection of beer & wine. Don’t let the name fool you its way more that Juice!

Cozy wine bar /restaurant. So much to choose from on the menu! We loved the atmosphere. We had lunch, but it seems like a great place to hangout in the evening for some wine with friends.

Tasty food, good service. Not upscale, but not slumming it, either. My parents and I call it «Kerrville Upscale» — cowboy boots are welcome. Had one of the best salads I’ve ever had here(and considering my dislike of salad, that’s saying something). Their hummus was tasty and we left feeling stuffed and sated and at a very reasonable price.

I tend to use Unilocal to find where I should dine when I am traveling in an unfamiliar region. Grape Juice was well-rated, seemed to have a welcoming atmosphere, and an diverse menu. Boy was I wrong. I ordered the Apple Cider Sangria and could not find a single trace of wine in it. Mind you, I make a different sangria every month for myself so I have a good idea how subtle the flavors can be. My sister and boyfriend ordered burgers while I ordered the boar sliders. It took a really long time for such simple items to come out of the kitchen.(I think our server forgot about us). When the food finally came out, the burgers were missing the onions! So we sent them back to the kitchen. I started biting into my sliders only to find out that they were cold! Even the burgers were cold when they came back out! At this point we didn’t even want to bother sending them back. In short, the food was okay. The flavors would have been more potent had the entrees been served while hot. Service was terrible. I almost never tip below 18% because I know working in the service industry is not glamorous, but the waiter should be happy I deigned to tip any percentage at all.

This is a quaint little spot in the downtown area of Kerrville. It strikes me as a cool coffee hang, unfortunately, they only have your basic cup of coffee for sale. Epic fail. Grapejuice could bring in a whole new group of folks if they added lattes and the like.

Food, and atmosphere great! Loved they even had wraps if it was too cold… Speaking of our cold, the waiter was the only disappointment. He was difficult to get back to order or even ask how the food was, probably should be in a different line of work altogether not really a people person

Great beer selection and not just bottled, several beers on tap and most are local brews. The menu is interesting and what we had of it(fish tacos & flatbread pizza) was tasty. I was worried that it might be the kind of place that you couldn’t wear a ball cap or shorts, but we were good there too. Definitely worth the stop!

I was in town for work and wanted something for dinner that wasn’t from a chain, so after a quick Unilocal search, I came to Grape Juice. This is a cute little place that I really wanted to love. I liked the curtains separating the tables, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed. I started with an order of hummus. It came with soft pita slices, which was a surprise. The hummus was smooth and came with an olive tamponade. It was okay, but honestly, Sabra is more flavorful. Serving it with crunchy pita chips would probably have helped. I got the wild boar lettuce wraps for my main course. They were yummy, but I missed the fresh crunch of green onions and water chestnuts that lettuce wraps usually have. The filling was just ground meat with peanuts on top, so it seemed very heavy. Knowing I’d soon be craving something sweet, I got a bacon brownie to go. I was sooooo excited to warm it up and enjoy it later at the hotel. Unfortunately, it was not spectacular. Instead of a moist, chewy brownie, it was a little dry and crumbly. The chewy pieces of bacon did not add anything to the flavor. In fact, I thought they just added a weird, unnecessary texture. Service was good. I’d definitely give this place another try. Maybe I just ordered the wrong stuff.

Huge wine and beer selection, great appetizers and entrees. Love the schmears and the crawfish tacos. And the Boom Boom burger is a yummy twist vs a typical burger

Grape Juice is without a doubt a culinary gem in quaint town of Kerrville. My gal pal was able to snag a dinner reservation — which I hear is impossible during a busy event weekend like the Kerrville Folk Festival. The décor is very coffee shop/wine bistro with local art on the walls, promo signs for local breweries, a bar, table seating, private nooks, and a back patio. The menu is exceptional. You’ll have trouble making a final decision, so I rec multiple shared plates. I did appreciate how there was a small selection of gluten-free, organic and locally sourced items. The cabrito chili was the standout, followed by the brussels sprouts. The quail lettuce wraps sounded interesting in theory but were completely over-salted and had far too much rosemary, so I didn’t have more than a bite. The wine though. Thank you, Grape Juice, for introducing me to Maynard James Keenan’s(of Tool) wine called Chupacabra. Can’t wait to check out the Arizona winery — Caduceus Cellars — and Merkin Vineyards.

A rare find indeed! It’s a beautiful gastropub with gourmet eats. I ordered the lamb t-bones(3 or 5 to a dish) and it came with farro and kale. A simple dish with romesco sauce, it was perfect for something both rich and yet healthy. I also ordered the Chupacabra, a moist and soft macaroni and cheese(think Velveeta mac and cheese) with a topping of pulled pork and coleslaw. A balanced mix of flavors both sweet, cheesy and mayonsiase. There was 20 beers and tap and a vast assortment of wine for both tasting and a storefront to buy bottles to take home. Excellent!
