Boyfriend surprised me with a massage and scalp treatment the first day we arrived. I could see why he was confused when I said all I wanted was a massage. They have a huge menu with many add ons to choose from. I showed up a little early and took advantage of the spa amenities such as the hottub to unwind a little more before my treatment. The facility was very clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. My therapist, I think was Mary? has amazing hands! She worked on my shoulders for a long time which they needed. She was respectful of my needs and privacy. Also, kudos to Tiffani at reception! She has great customer service skills which are not seen often enough!

The quality has really gone down hill at the ritz spa in key biscayne. I have been here several times and the prices go up and the quality goes down. I do not mind paying a premium price for a premium service however the services are not at all worth the cost at all. The massages are good but over priced and the pedicure I got was one of the worst I’ve ever had, and for $ 65 I expected A LOT more. Will probably not be returning again.

As a local I use the spa about once a month. I have been a local for 10 years. Recently I purchased a package there, as I do when I go, and found that the quality had dropped a bit. It’s still clean and beautiful. The staff still super attentive and pleasant. But the amenities offered were not of ritz quality, and those wonderful ritz pa-zazzz was not there. First of all the staff is less in numbers. Scheduling things together becomes an issue. Second in the relaxing lounge they used to have wonderful healthy fresh muffins and fruit. Wonderful tea and coffee. No more muffins and the tea label is a cheaper brand than the one prior. It’s like being in the spa of a JW Marriott. Banana chips and nuts for a snack while you wait. A little disappointing especially since their prices went up slightly.

What a magical oasis this place is… Amazing, the hotel, pool and beach are spectacular. I had one of the best massages EVER from a totally adorable guy name Rene. The staff was super friendly and I can’t wait to return for a longer stay!

Great spa. Not too big. Very comfortable relaxation sitting areas. The property is lovely and has great restaurants and bars at the hotel to gather after. Had a spa day with 5 girlfriends. They did a great job of scheduling us so we could spend lots of time together and also have our treatments. I had a package that included a signature massage and a beyond organic facial. The therapists were great and very friendly. Locker room facilities were beautiful with any and all amenities available. Only drawback — locker rooms were too hot. I will be back !!!

I enjoyed a 50 minute Swedish massage here and used the other facilities as well. It’s a very nice spa with lots of little amenities that make it feel like luxury. It has that wonderful spa smell that is their signature scent. The teas that are available at the Ritz are out of this world. They are by far the best tasting teas I have ever had. Terrific! There’s a nice whirlpool as well as a sauna and steamroom for you to enjoy during your time at the spa. I loved the waiting room when I was preparing for my massage. Serene and comfortable with plenty of that tasty tea as well as coffee and water. My massage was with Juan, I think. He was pretty good– although a little too chatty for my liking. I prefer to just listen to the relaxing music and not have to focus on idle conversation. He did stretch my spine and it felt amazing. I didn’t think I had much tension in my lower body but he proved otherwise! So the result was terrific. It’s $ 150 for 50 minutes plus the automatic 18% so — a bit spendy– however, having use of the full spa is a treat and of course you can walk the gorgeous grounds of the Ritz which is fabulous too. So if you’re not staying in the hotel, be sure to give yourself several hours to soak up the experience and make it worth it!

I came here for a spa day a while back and was completely let down. The entire time I felt rushed through the experience and I felt like the treatment I received was not worth the money my husband spent. Not Ritz quality ATALL. The lady that did my facial did not stop talking the ENTIRE time! It was the furthest thing from relaxing. She kept asking me personal questions and making observations about myself that made me feel uncomfortable. The same thing happened when I went to do my manicure & pedicure. The lady just wouldn’t be quiet! Like I’ve said before, when you go to the spa, you want serenity, peace, quiet, and a way to disconnect from everything. The worst thing at a spa, for me, is for someone to be talking about problems or life issues while you’re trying to get away from them! The massage was nothing worth returning for either. Save your money or go somewhere else!

The hotel is lovely and quiet, but the spa is ok – nothing special at all. It is not at all what I expected from the Ritz Carlton. The spa in Naples Ritz Carlton is 10X better! The spa is several dark, small compartments and the service is ok. I had the«On the Go» that was a mani, facial and massage(ea was 25 min for $ 180) and it was not worth the money. I realize I was at the Ritz and a total splurge, but I expected a Ritz manicure to be special in some way to what I normally receive the Chicago area. NOT at all… it actually was the worst mani I’ve ever had, but I didn’t want to point out that the manicurist missed several spots on my nails. Weird. The gal who did the facial was great though. This was a girlfriend’s getaway and I would most definitely chose the Naples location over this one. Kis Biscayne was way pricier and the beach was dirty. I’m not picky at all, just love time to get away, but when I walked down the shore to the lighthouse,(½ hr walk) there was trash everywhere – shocking and gross. Food at the restaurants was very good – drinks super weak though.

Sure, the prices keep going up here, but really, this spa is the best you will find in the area. I’ve been going since they opened and the staff are expertly trained, friendly, and though it’s a very luxurious spa, it is not intimidating at all and I’ve always felt right at home in the locker room or in the relaxation room which is super comfy. The massage therapists are great and cater to your specific needs. I always enjoy the deep tissue massage with a reflexology add on. I’ve used the gym there a few times and it’s pretty good, as well as the classes. The setting is just gorgeous and it’s never too crowded, even when the hotel is full. Only complaint is that they don’t do any discounts for locals, which means I have to go less often since their rates keep going up.

i cannot believe it had taken me this long to visit the rckb spa. i consider myself very up to date with the spa life and this little piece of heaven has quickly moved to the top of my list as a favorite! if youre looking for trendy, modern, zen this is not the place for you. this is old world charm and class. like a real adult space, like mom’s living room — look but dont touch yet still cozy, comfortable, and inviting. the spa facilities are filled with long dimly lit hallways, the locker room is big yet still private with a great sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and plenty of showers. the relaxation room is bright and has water, coffee, tea, fruit and pastries to snack on. the 80 minute massage was absolutely wonderful. i felt like a million bucks when i was done. not a worry or care in the world just pure relaxation. they validate parking(still $ 12 w validation) and allow use of pool, fitness center etc even if youre a miami spa month guest.

Some people define themselves as conservative, or trendy, or free spirited. Well, I like to think that I’m just a Ritz type of girl. To me nothing evokes images of glamor and pampering quite the same as the posh Ritz Carlton brand. The oceanfront Key Biscayne Ritz is quite possibly paradise and the spa is no different. I love spas and have been fortunate to go to many of the Miami area spas. This one easily ranks in my top three. The employees are very attentive and the treatments are top notch. The space itself is comfortable, spacious, and clean. The massages are out of this world and you have use of the whirlpool, eucalyptus steam room, lounges, and sauna for the day. They have a special at the moment for 2 mini treatments for $ 100(get the neck and shoulder massage) which is a great deal for this particular property. Valet is validated at the spa and you will only have to pay $ 10.

I spent a day being pampered at this immaculately clean spa. My sister had a massage scheduled, I did a few rounds of steam/sauna/jacuzzi with a few restful breaks relaxing in a robe with a book in the extremely comfortable lounge. $ 35 for using the spa facilities is a very fair price(the price as most other spas and bath houses). My sister loved her massage treatment(I found the treatment prices to be extremely expensive — but, it’s The Ritz). I will return next time I’m in Key Biscayne.

this is the ideal resort spa: a perfect place to spend an hour or an entire day of your vacation. i booked several treatments here while staying at the ritz-carlton key biscayne for a birthday, and it was fantastic! i had such a great time, i think it actually was what got me hooked on spa days, to tell the truth. damn you ritz, for encouraging the development of expensive habits!(^(oo)^)/“ locker rooms and changing areas were impeccably clean, therapists were professional and skilled, and the attitudes of the staff throughout the spa facility were friendly and helpful. oh, and the robes come in fun tropical colours like orange sherbet and lime green instead of boring white or cream. what more can a piggy ask for? i want to go back! can we go back please? please please please? with bacon?(^(oo)^)v
