Krawl Off Duval

Open Christmas Eve, nice chill atmosphere with great beer and a great staff. Unlike some bars in key west the inside of the bar smelled nice and clean :) they have quite a few Florida beers on draft to include cigar city :)

Great beer, awful bartender!
Was in Key West for work. Based on awesome reviews I stopped in today for some craft beer. I had some work to do as I drank, so I asked where I could plug in. Bartender seemed a bit annoyed but offered that I could use outlet under bar. He seemed annoyed but ultimately let me use outlet. He recommended great choices and the beer was awesome as the service was fast. When I asked to check out I gave him my company card. Since my company is located in Amsterdam and has a European chip it sometimes gets declined unless they enter the number manually. The bar was dead and there was 2 local patrons who were very nice sitting at bat with full beers. He runs my card and tells me it was declined. I told him that it sometimes happens since its foreign card and he needed to enter numbers manually since it had the chip. He gasped acted like I was a problem to him and then stated it still wasn’t working. Then he asked for a customer number. I told him this has never happened just asks for the manual entry. He opened wallet and said I’m just going to buy your 9 $ drink with a huge attitude. I told him I didn’t need him to as I had other methods of payment just wanted to use this card. It went thru when he entered manually and we left. Overall he didn’t need to have an attitude or make me feel bad my card «declined» when it actually wasn’t. He didn’t have a packed bar nor did I take more than 4 minutes of his time to settle bill. Bad service ugly attitude but great beer. Maybe it was one off but no one deserves or likes to be treated this way. Disappointment overall based on service.

Good selection of beer and the service was exceptional! Raul is so awesome and made us feel right at home. Cool spot just off of Duval; we’ll definitely make our way back here.

Best place for a beer in KW. Katrina the bartender was awesome. If you like craft beer this is the spot. Great happy hour and awesome beer selection.

It’s a small bar but wonderful vibe and excellent beer choices. It is a great place to escape the craziness of Duval.

Was super excited to find this craft beer bar as we travel for breweries. We were here on a Sunday afternoon with some locals (mel fishers relatives) and met the sweetest bartender. I forget her name but she is there on sundays, has an english accent and makes great crock pot food for happy hour. They welcome dogs!!! Met some great ones there! Beer selection is awesome!!! Must stop here and have pint!

Craft beer is not as common in Key West as it is in other cities, including my hometown of Buffalo, NY. So I was thrilled to discover Krawl Off Duval and try some of their taps. They have a great variety of craft beers from around the country. The bartenders are knowledgeable and willing to offer suggestions or samples to help you make a decision.
Another perk: it was not quite as busy as some of the other Duval bars. In fact, the only other people in there were locals, not tourists. I suppose that’s the sign of a good bar!

Best new bar off of Duval period! Lovin’ the BOGO happy hour! Please do yourself a favor a go there, you will not regret it!

We didn’t eat here. We just drank. Lol. Bartenders were incredibly friendly and provided good drinks. We hung out there all day. They even let you order take out from across the street and bring it back to the bar and eat it. Pretty cool. next time we are in the mood for plenty of drinks and a chill spot to hang out all day, we will def come back here. :)

The bar does have good beers on tap but the girl working the bar extremely over charged us for two drinks. It was nearly twice the cost of any bar that was on Duval. There are better bars where you don’t have to worry being taken advantage of.

I love their selection of draft beer that they change frequently. The spot is very tiny but I love it! A cool vibe! And it’s wasn’t full of tourists. +++ one bathroom and only a few seats, but you should check it out for their beer choices!

Jasmine the bartender made our visit spectacular. She was friendly, beer knowledgable and a great host. The bar itself has about 24 drafts, a really nice mix or craft and some imports. Happy hour is killer and for craft beer fans, one of the highlights of my stay.

Cute place off Duval street. I love that the «craft» beer is actually craft beer. 80% Florida breweries. Great place to have a good beer and relax. One of only a few good, craft beer bars in KeyWest.

Been there a couple times in the last few months great spot, super friendly, great choice of pops! and they didn’t mind we went nuts watching our ball game!!!

Small place as others have said but they have a GREAT beer selection including one of my favs — Monk in the Trunk.
Super friendly bartenders and regulars to chat with too! I wish we had found this place prior to our last night in town.

Tiny, tiny, tiny place. But, they have Omission Lager, my favorite. But if you’re a glutard, only this and Angry Orchard for the glutards.
Lots of fans for this non-​air conditioned space. Bartender wanted to be super accommodating.
All in all, nice place

Great bar for beer lovers with its wide and interesting selections. Half a block proximity to Duval St. which suits me just fine. Great music! Really great music! And if you’ve got a better suggestion they just might let you rock your playlist. Then there’s the service; probably the nicest staff in town. Really down to earth, friendly and professional.
My wife and I were just about ready to head in for the night but decided a nightcap would be a good idea. Hey, we were on vacation. Two and half hours later we were comfortably buzzed and having great conversation with the bartender and some locals. Krawl Off Duval is a true locals’ joint that welcomes outsiders with open arms.
Big thumbs up to the awesome bartender that sails all over the world! You were great! Keep up the good work and may the winds be ever in your favor.

We stopped here after lunch at the Café across the street for some of their craft brews.
Really, the selection was nothing special and I expected more but what they did have was perfectly fine and the server/​bartender was SO friendly it gets 4 stars from me.
It’s divey, run down, with one co ed bathroom upstairs which barely locks so girls be warned, but it made for a comfortable air conditioned place to have a cold drink before heading back to our room.

Was down this past weekend celebrating my friend’s 40^th and we stumbled upon Krawl during Happy Hour. Bartenders were great and there was a great craft beer selection. When we ordered drinks during Happy Hour, we were given a ticket for an additional drink to use during Happy Hour again. Great idea, so our beers didn’t get warm.
Small bar, but they have a nice porch and table on the side where we used their bean bag toss.
Definitely visiting again during our next trip.

Fantastic.
I travel like crazy (view my check-​ins) and I gotta say, this place is one of the best craft beer joints in the whole US. And it blows me away that this place is in little olé Key West, home of hillbilly tourists, frat boys, and PBR.
If you know your beer, ignore the mediocre and negative reviews. Most of them wouldn’t know beer from horse piss. This is not a place to learn about beer. If you don’t know what you like already, don’t expect the bartenders to teach you. And yes, if you come in irritated that they don’t have Bud, Miller, Coors, and other mass-​produced, tasteless American shit beers, you WILL get attitude. And you deserve it.
But for beer snobs like myself, it’s heaven.
