Found this gem on our way to Big Beach, and said we would stop on our way back to our condo… Let me tell you… So glad we did!!! $ 6 for a very generous cup of sorbet! We had a mixture of lemon and mango. Made fresh daily, all natural, no additives! Super refreshing and delicious! Guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Found this gem at Saturday’s, Maui Swap Meet. Mango Sorbet served atop frozen lemonade. A more refreshing treat, I think, could not be found on the island. Perfect for a sunny Island day. Check their Facebook page for other locations. Portion sizes are generous and it’s all homemade!

The best dessert/​snack experience on the South shore! And very refreshing on a hot beach day. Drive past the Kea Lani, and just as you enter Makena you’ll see the stand on the ocean (makai) side of the road. He usually has a little sign up, and being right next to Po’olenalena Beach there is usually plenty of parking.
For $ 4 you get three scoops of any of the four flavors of sorbet: mango, mixed berry, piña colada, or chocolate. You can sample them to make your choice, but you can’t go wrong, as all three are delicious. The mango and chocolate are my favorite. The chocolate is made with coconut milk and is so smooth and rich, and the mango seriously just tastes like a cool, fresh mango. Nothing artificial, fresh and natural, friendly service, and compostable cups and spoons. What’s not to love?

Awesome Italian ice! Nice smooth consistency (unlike shaved ice). Had the mango, piña colada, and mixed berry. Great natural flavors. A stand that uses compostable dining ware. All very good on a warm Hawaiian day! I think chocolate with the piña colada also would have been quite good!

This guy was great! His dessert was the best I had on my trip to Maui. I almost don’t want to review this because I hesitate to let the secreat out. This will be one of our first stops when we return (hopefully his mobile operation will be in the same place!) I love fresh, REAL food… and this is it! YUM!

A wonderful dessert experience! Dairy free (no artificial stuff like those shaved ice guys) and so yummy. I always look forward the the his local island flavors hand crafted small batch Italian Ice.

Skip the shave ice and try this treat instead! This Italian ice is delicious and so fresh and natural. You can get free samples to decide on which flavor you want or if you can’t decide, get your three scoops in different flavors. I really liked that it was made naturally without artificial colors and flavors and you can taste it! I had a mix of mango (made this morning) and mixed berry. Cool and refreshing, a perfect treat for a warm Maui afternoon. Prices are reasonable too, you get a large serving for 4 bucks. The flavors change so it is a fun surprise to see what is on the menu. I also sampled piña colada flavor and that was creamy and delicious.
