Excellent! The chopped sandwiches are a huge portion of meat. They definitely don’t skimp. The sides are generous too and very decent. Sausage and brisket were quite good. We enjoyed this way more than Clem’s which is near by.

Pork chop friday is too inconsistent now days. Today, I was given a pork chop that was burnt to a crisp. Ended up throwing half of it away. Also, there are better places around here to get ribs and brisket. This place just lost a regular.

Nothing special and was very disappointed. Ribs were dry, chicken was charred, Mac and cheese was worse than kraft, and the bread they served was generic white bread from a grocery store. This place needs to step it’s game up.

I had a catering from them at work today and the food was amazing. We had catering to serve our students in honor of Thanksgiving! It was completely delicious. While the owner was a bit of a control freak, it felt perfectly ok for her to take the lead. Her controlling nature to how set up and serve, only showed how important her business is to her. We did have to wait for a little while because traffic was the worst at lunch time, but that is the only reason I give this place a 4 star rating instead of a five star rating.

Food is excellent. I frequent ichiban for lunch during the week and it is always consistent. I cannot think of a better buffet in the area. Wait staff is quick and friendly and the resteraunt is always clean. Only thing I could suggest is a better paint job, the bright crayola colors make it look like an elementary school cafeteria

The staff seem friendly, but the food just isn’t that good. The best thing we had was the sausage and the fresh onions and pickles. The ribs were just OK, but the brisket was really disappointing. It was more like a pot roast than smoked barbecue. The sides were also nothing to write home about — the macaroni and cheese, in fact, was super boring. The house sauce was thick and very sweet, more ketchupy than a good barbecue sauce should be.

One of the best rib joints that I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Ordered a pound of the pork spare ribs because let’s face it, it has a hell of a lot more meaty flavor than the overrated baby back! Anyway, the meat was perfectly seasoned and not overly sauced. It’s always nice to meet a pit master who lets the natural flavor of the meat take the front seat of the meal, and not drowning in a pool of sauce. Had us a small order of potato salad and cole slaw too. Both were hits as well, but I’ll be dreaming of the ribs tonight that’s for sure! Highly recommended!

Meh. Nice people. Mediocre food, at best. The meat was mushy, which was a weird texture. Moist, sure, but it didn’t maintain its full flavor or… meaty texture during the cooking process. I can’t explain it another way, just odd. Had the ribs, pork, and ribs, and I wasn’t impressed. The sides were along the same lines. Green beans from a can, not too much flavor, and potato salad was not anything special. From the reviews before, I expected more. Sure, the portions are huge, but what good does a large portion of sub par food do? I have three stars because they really are nice. Family run.
Also, there were dead bugs underneath the pickle and onion cooler. Which is not appetizing.

Good barbecue. I had the sausage and ribs which were amazing. The barbecue sauce was very good as well. The sides were good but not great. The baked beans were a little bland. Other than that every person I went with thoroughly enjoyed their food. I will be back!

I recently went here to try se new barbecue. I have to say, I loved their smoked brisket! It was delicious and practically melts in your mouth. Their beans are good as well. I love potato salad but I have to say I felt something was missing. It wasn’t bad it just tasted a little bland. The BBQ was a little to tangy for me too. The sausage was good, I’m glad they give you options if you don’t like jalapeños in your sausage. I will definitely come back to eat here or take out.

The food is amazing, BUT…
Businesses will succeed or fail based on their employees. When counter staff is rude, dismissive or downright lazy, no matter how good the food is… People will stay away.
I pray that this doesn’t happen to Sticky Bones, but given tonight’s service, one has to wonder.

Never had a bad meal here. Quick, friendly service so you can get in and out easily. The Friday smoked pork chop is a don’t miss event. They are big enough to share and done perfectly. Some of the best BBQ in central Texas. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Best BBQ in town. It’s rare to find a place that does quality Brisket, Ribs and Sausage, but Bone’s nails all three, and you get to add the Porkchops on Fridays.
I’ve eaten at every BBQ place in the area and Bone’s is the only one to get repeat business from me.
