There’s nothing like being able to touch the yarn, to see the colors before you buy it. For the longest time there wasn’t really much of an option aside from craft stores, unless you were lucky enough to be making a trip out of town. I have to admit, since this shop opened I haven’t really had much money to buy yarn, but I’ve definitely enjoyed the benefits of being able to really meet the yarn before I make my decision. Having time to sit and enjoy the company of other knitters was definitely fantastic when I had the time to stop by. It’s just too bad I don’t have time more often. While the selection of yarns available has seemed kind of small, it seems like it’s growing immensely every day, and they’re always willing to add an order for something special in with their next shipment, so even if they don’t have exactly what you’re looking for, they can get it. They also carry the Knit Picks needles and at least some of the other accessories. They’ve got plenty of the interchangeable«options» needles in the nickle plate, harmony wood, and zephyr acrylic, which is fantastic, especially if you find you don’t have something on hand(or lost or broke it as I often have) and need to pick up an immediate replacement. With great yarn, great tools and accessories, and a great staff, this shop is definitely a favorite of mine!
