I love a good thrift store or flea market and Texas Thrift is right in line with a great thrift store. I came across the store during my search for bed rails a couple of weeks ago. There was no Goodwill within a 30 mile radius that had any. A friend of mine recommended Texas Thrift, and I haven’t stepped food it a Goodwill ever since. They have a wide range of selections, including a plus size row for women like myself. I love the fact that everything is Also categorized by color, so if I need a red blouse, I just go to that section. This is definitely my favorite go-to store before resulting to the bigger stores. The location is a good spot, although you can miss it if you don’t know where you are going. The staff is very friendly and for the size of the store and the variety of products, they keep it fairly clean and organized. Don’t try to walk through on a stocking day because you won’t get far

The pricing is so over the top. And thay are kind of rude. I liked this place a lot when thay oponed but now I only go when my sister goes. It’s to crowed with invetory because its expensive, and the kids are out of control. Also none of the pictures shown look like the store.

Use to be a fan but I’m not so fond any longer. The prices on some of the items are outrageous, especially for clothing. I discovered I can just get new clothes from Ross for around the same price as some of the clothes here. I thought this was suppose to be a charitable place.

The prices are outrageous on a lot of items. 3 and 4 dollars for used coffee mugs. I went in to buy dishes and they had them grouped in sets of 3 and 11. who has that number of chairs at their table? And absolutely under no circumstances would separate the incomplete sets. Also a different time I had a few items I had been looking for for a long time. They didn’t have a price on them so they refused to sell them to me. Apparently the person who does pricing wasn’t there and no one else was allowed to make a call on the price. They don’t care about the customers. I feel it’s a rip off. they shouldn’t take it so seriously. it’s re sale. not high end retail. The only good point is they do have a lot to choose from.

Great thrift store the best in Killeen in my opinion. Memorial Day is 50% off everything! They usually have some sort of sale everyday by the different colored tags.

Great deals at this thrift store and it’s huge with a large variety of items, including lots and lots of name brands. I bought a pair of new Justin’s boots for $ 42 with a market value of around $ 150. I always get good deals.

Selection was 90% clothes and what wasn’t clothes are haphazardly arranged. The floors and shelves are dirty and we found many items to be overpriced. Overall feeling is not one that makes you want to spend money.

This is the best thrift store I have found anywhere! I live in Austin but my boyfriend lives in the country halfway between Killeen and Austin so we normally go to Killeen for dinner and shopping. We both have a lot of luck finding clothes at Texas Thrift. Their prices are great and their tag sales are amazing. I also end up spending over $ 50 and leaving with a dozen different things. There’s no thrift store in Austin or Killeen with a better selection of clean quality clothes. And certainly no store anywhere with better prices!

I discovered this place from my mother in law who goes on 99 cent Mondays. I had gone and as a previous reviewer says it does smell a little funky, but the deals there are very good. I always see my mother in law buying something nice there. I usually go to browse the book sections but I have not gone on Mondays yet as I am working late and it is an hour drive for me to get there but I will eventually get around to going at that time. Overall its a pretty good place to find deals if your strapped for cash.

This thrift shop is absolutely disgusting. It’s filthy and smells terrible. They have a lot of clothes, so if that’s your thing then you’ll be in luck. Most of their housewares, furniture, and home décor is disgusting, stained, broken, scratched, and/or ripped. Why accept broken items and put them on the sales floor? After several visits, I realized it was just the norm for this store. I quit going. Waste of time.

I buy almost everything I wear at this store. The colored tag sales are awesome and military Wednesdays are a great perk for those serving. The Good: Everything. Seriously. The music doesn’t stink, the employees are friendly, the selection is awesome and the prices are unbeatable. The Bad: I never have enough time! It takes a long time to comb through all the stuff to find exactly what I never knew I always wanted. The Skinny: I’m in the middle of massive weight loss and am going down a size every few weeks. I go at least twice a month and will continue to for a long time.

I absolutely love this place! I’ve been here four times and have always left happy; both with what I purchased, and with the experience. The staff members are sometimes a bit curt, and they run around a lot, but the store is fairly big, so I imagine they have their hands full there. It’s never been a bother to me, and when I smile, they smile back. I’ve purchased several dresses, a jacket, and a few old VHS tapes. Each item was in great shape and clean, and I love the diversity among items in-store. The entire middle section is a vast display of clothing, ranging from tops, pants, jackets, and shoes. The left side appears to be baby clothing, and the far back and right side of the room is usually comprised of used household items, antiques, collectables, china, and other such things. A small display in the very front entrance usually houses a nice little arrangement of furniture that they change out quite often. The floor plan is a bit odd, and can get a bit crowded on busy days or weekends, making it awkward to maneuver around others looking to score big. But for the most part, there is plenty to look at, and you can take your time looking while you wait for the sections to clear up. They managed to make a great use of the space they have, and there’s just enough room to house everything in its own little part of the store. When I first visited the store, I thought it looked dirty. Upon closer inspection, I realized it’s not so much«dirty» as it is simple run down. They run a thorough upkeep, and everything is tidy and manages to stay where it’s supposed to(unless you have those special brand of people who like to change their minds and leave stuff everywhere), leaving the store looking decent and easy to navigate. I will continue to come here for the great finds, excellent prices, and wonderful deals! As far as I know, Mondays are Yellow-Tag 99¢ days. Wednesdays are Military Discount Day. I’m not sure if they have any other discounts or deals, but I do know about those two.
