Travelodge Killeen

Horrible room, reserved the room 6 months in advance, and still got a smelly smoking room, burn holes in everything, even the bed, tub and sink. Did not even think they had rooms with ash trays any more. Said this was all they had for me. Toilet ran all night, would never stay in this place again. Desk would not honor the price for my reservation. Asked for an extra towel to wash my hair, and was told I had to turn in the dirty one to get another one. Place needs to be bulldozed. Please do not stay here, even if it costs a few dollars more, but next door was l0 dollars cheaper, and the staff, rude as they were, would not honor even that. Terrible stay. Does not look as good as the pictures!!!

It’s a converted Motel into a Wyndham group, clean rooms, new furniture, etc. but it’s still a motel at heart. The checkin still uses the imprint your card machine, the room is still the same layout, you can’t shut the door to the bathroom without stepping into the tub, the doors, windows and infrastructure is so 1980’s
Service– fair at best
There are signs in the rooms about how much things cost if you take one, like a towel
The cable tv is poor service, wireless is hard to connect.
In short they charge the same price as a hotel but it’s still a motel at heart

Very clean room and a comfy bed… bathroom is a little small. We checked in and within ten minutes of us being in the room they called to check to make sure we where happy…
Pool is perfect temp but could be cleaned more often…
Located near lots of restaurants and shops.

Don’t expect outstanding service at front desk. I asked for batteries for my remote and they said to bad.

Location on the map was wrong. It looks like a ok place.

I stayed here again in December 2011 for about a week and ended up with bed bugs. I am never staying here again.
