What a fabulous wine shop! The owner really knows and loves his wine. The shop is nicely laid out and has an extensive selection of great wines at all prices. He also has some cute gift items as well as cheeses and chocolates. Don’t let the outside stop you from venturing in but be ready to walk out with some great wine to enjoy! This is a very nice wine shop.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff plus great wines at reasonable prices, plus a fine bakery in an elegant setting that invites lingering and visiting. Friday night wine tastings are fun and educational.

I found this amazing wine shop while visiting family in Kilmarnock. Its knowledgeable staff found me two tasty and inexpensive whites from New Zealand and Italy. They also have a full selection of wines in higher price ranges. Plus a free wine tasting every Friday at 5. Recommended!

I’m specifically writing this review about the Wine Specials store. It is just a couple of doors down the street from the original Specials location. We were greeted instantly when entering the store by a very nice and knowledgeable employee. She helped us find the perfect wines for our occasion among the many varieties they sell. This store is comparable to other wine stores as far as pricing is concerned, but the atmosphere is well above the rest by being both cozy and inviting.
