Roma Pizza

I love this place! Ate here a few times now. So far we’ve tried the M.A.N, barbecue, and chicken alfredo pizza, plus the crab dip. Everything has been so tasty. Lots of cheese and meat on every bite! Plus the pizzas are ridiculously cheap.
The décor is fun and a little bit quirky. Staff has been always so nice and very attentive. I’ve never had to wait to order, drinks to be filled, or the bill. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

So it really just depends on what you’re there for. The food is good but it’s a bit over priced and I found a better Italian place closer to where I live. However, this is a great place if you are here to drink and have a good time on Saturday nights. They normally have Karaōke going and the atmosphere is real relaxed. Some good and bad singers but every so often you have great singers and it just makes for a good night and good times.

Go for the pizza and wings! We ordered the chicken alfredo pizza add spinach and bacon and it was bomb! The chicken was ACTUALLY chicken and the bacon was real bacon as well. From first bite to last swallow, this pizza was delicious.

Solid food. The atmosphere isn’t that great, and the bar area seems like an 80’s dive bar, but they really seem to take pride in their food. Every dish I’ve had was a solid four. The burgers are probably the best in town. The fish tacos were tasty and flavored right, and not bad for being so far from San Diego. I’ll definitely eat here some more.

Food was average. Chicken turnover had too much sauce. Gyro was good and steak and cheese was small and average. The Oink n moo burger was fair and fries were few and not cooked enough. Heard pizza was great and will try that next time.

The food is good as is the service. Only downside was the trivia. Very bland and boring.

Awesome staff, a great selection of beers and the food is great. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich is incredible, it’s a must get. Their wings are the best in King George. The owner will go out of his way to make sure you received your order exactly as you want it or he’ll give it you free. I ordered the oysters, he asked how I liked them and I simply didn’t enjoy them. It wasn’t anything they did incorrect, I simply didn’t like them. He took it off my check even though I asked him not to. Best place to eat and drink in King George/​Dahlgren.

Sunday brunch at the local restaurant and bar. Bloody Mary made with all the good stuff, just right for the morning after foggyness from a great Saturday night. Omelet ordered with anything you want, as long as it’s in the kitchen you can get it. Can’t beat it. Great place, better people!

Great food, great friends, good service, very reasonable prices, a favorite King George local spot for pizza and wings!

I ordered the steak and cheese sandwich. It was «OK». Fries was stale which was cold like it was just sitting out. Onion rings was good.

Ordered delivery a few weeks ago and everything was serviceable. «Dined» in tonight and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The small, dirty, dilapidated dining room was full of people who hadn’t been served their meal yet (one hour of waiting for us) but were being pacified with refilled beverages placed upon wobbly tables. The service was faking the happy through and through, none too concerned about anyone’s discontent. Poor. Won’t be back.

The staff was great until the awful food came out. This is one of the few places to eat in this town and it is only good for the pizza… sometimes. We ordered nachos once they barley had meat or cheese on them. Most recently we ordered their «special» bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos, they came out with canned pineapple in them, yuck!!! Who does that? We also ordered fries the tasted resheated. Do not go unless you want pizza and beer. If your food was better you’d get more buisness and could update your run down bar.

Nice little hidden gem in King George. Food is always on point and the staff are one of a kind. There is a great bar area and game room. If you ever get the chance to stop in when passing by don’t miss it!

Had the pizza regular crust — it was delicious– lots of cheese. Also had the baked spaghetti it too was scrumptious. A lot better than what you would expect to find in Dahlgren. Definitely will be back.

Very friendly staff and good food too. I have been there a number of times and enjoyed the chicken souvlaki, chicken philly sub and the individual size pizza. Very laid back atmosphere and good prices!

Fun, relaxed, and a great place to go just to hang out (a far cry from 6 years ago) It’s probably the most lively restaurant in Dahlgren. Their pizza is always tasty but make sure to order the butter crust with it. Their Athenian Salad is pretty good, too.

The food is extremely hit and miss. Its all average to the point of boring, but the quality varies with how busy the kitchen is. The pizza in particular is much much better if you order it off rush. Other items vary just as wildly in there quality. This is the closest bar to the base, and they have a decent tap selection. Its convienent if you are living on base, and that is just about the only reason to go.

We’d been in the car for hours, checked in at our hotel and asked about delivery options. My kids wanted pizza, so I ordered from them.
Pricing — where I’m from, a large pepperoni for eleven bucks is ridiculously inexpensive. Even with the three dollar delivery fee it was cheap enough that my expectations were very low.
Staff — They were very nice on the phone, apologetically explained it would be over an hour for delivery, and I was glad that they were honest and upfront. An hour later a knock on the door and a delivery guy handed me two very got pizzas. Hotter than any other delivery pizza I’ve ever had.
Pepperoni pizza — nothing glamorous, right? Wrong. Maybe just because the pizza was so hot, the abundance of cheese was in this incredible semi liquid state and mixed with their delicious sauce.
Buffalo ranch pizza — whoa. Hold on to your hat. This thing was amazing. I’ve never had another pizza that tasted this good that wasn’t authentic brick oven gourmet at 3x the price. I’m wordsy, but I am having trouble describing just how delicious this pizza was. The sauces, cheese and crust engulfed the white chicken meat that was moist and… ugh I want more like right now.

This establishment delivers to base which is a huge plus for them. Located right before the naval base.
We haven’t dined it yet but i’ve seen the inside. Big bar area and multiple tv’s for your viewing pleasure.
We had a buffalo chicken pizza and appetizer sampler delivered. Both were really tasty and served as a better option than pizza hut or dominos.

Moved into the King George area about 2 months ago, and was looking for a good pizza place. While Domino’s is a decent back-​up, we like a local place for our pizza.
I had been here 2 times already with my office, and really liked what we got. One trip we got the M.A.N. (mentioned in another review), and the second trip we got Scotty’s experiement with a Sicilian pizza (based on the urging of someone in our group). Both times, I was execptionally impressed.
This past weekend we ordered for delivery (which I was surprised they do, and very pelased) a personal-​sized chicken alfredo pizza and a large «Club» pizza (turkey, ham, bacon, cheddar and mozz cheeses, and surprisingly no sauce). We loved them both, with my wife (who doesn’t like red sauces) falling in love with the Club.
I’ve become a huge fan, and looking forward to trying the rest of the menu, to include the Thursday Pad Thai special. This has definitely become our new pizza place!
