The Court is the smaller of the complexes at King of Prussia and is accessible from the Plaza by walking down a(mostly) covered pathway on the Neiman Marcus side of the mall. The Court isn’t quite as glitzy as the other side, but it still has its attractions(namely, Sur La Table, Urban Outfitters, and Macy’s). I usually only make the trek to this side if I specifically need something from one of the stores in the Court, and it’s just as nice as the Plaza, albeit with fewer stores. There is always more parking available(in my experience) on this side of the mall, presumably because people don’t want to walk too far to get to the main complex.

This is what I always refer to as the«small mall.» It also happens to cater to an older crowd and its a lot calmer in this mall than in the Plaza.

The Court is the smaller of the two malls that make up King of Prussia Mall, but we find we spend most of our time on this side. For anchor stores, we tend to frequent Macy’s, but Bloomingdale’s is the other anchor store here. The other stores we like on this side include Brighton, Old Navy, Pottery Barn for Kids, and Restoration Hardware. As for restaurants, this side as The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen, and Legal Seafood. There is also a Starbucks and an Auntie Ann’s here as well. About the only reason I go to the other side of the mall(The Plaza) is to go to the Apple store. For us, this side of the mall is much more manageable, especially with younger kids, and has many of the stores we like. And if our kids are good while we go shopping, we tell them they get to play for a bit in the indoor play area down on the first floor!

One of the things we have missed since we moved from coast to coast is the large, beautiful malls of the East. Of course, they are designed for whiling away the hours on a cold, blustery day when you don’t want to be cooped up and you need a little moderate exercise. When we come back to visit, The Court at King of Prussia is always one of our stops! This is truly a destination mall and beyond being able to find absolutely everything we might have forgotten to pack, we wax nostalgic to a time when we were able to visit nearly every weekend.

This side of the King of Prussia Mall isn’t as fly as it’s bigger brother, the Plaza. The Macy’s is great, but I rarely buy anything else from this side of the KOPM. Everything here is lesser, and sometimes even a duplicate store of one that can be found on the cool kids’ side.

The lesser-traveled side of the King of Prussia Mall… lots of nice stores(Banana Republic, GAP, etc. etc.) and plenty of space to move around.

Not necessarily 50%, more like 25 of the mall. Only reason I come to this side is cause I work here, banana republic, urban outfitters, and the more upscale H&M. Besides that not to much to see here. Should all change in the next few years though when they start construction on connecting both buildings. Finally, we won’t have to walk outside anymore.
