This place has been in business for a long time. It started out as a OK steak joint alternative to Nafies across the bridge. It was recently redone (2010) and now has more of a closed restaurant /​dingy nightclub feel. There are palm tree’s, neon lights, and chairs shaped like ladies shoes. The waitstaff was small, but attentive. This all gets a 2 or 3 star rating.
GO FOR THE RANCH AND FILLET.
The food was the gem in this place. We ordered the house ranch on iceberg salads and that was the best ranch I have ever had. My father wanted his lettuce colder. We ordered rolls and they came out steaming from the oven. My brother and dad got the fillet and I got a rib-​eye. The steaks were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. They give you everything you need for your potato on the side. Overall great food experience.
Now we just need someone to redo the atmosphere again.

Sanford’s is one of the best steakhouses in the world, little on in a tiny town in Oklahoma. If you are within a 50 mile radius of Lake Texoma, I highly recommend this restaurant! You will not find a better steak… not even in New York, seriously!
Great food and a fun and «warm» atmosphere. It’s like dining at your best friends house, only with awesome service!
Also, ask for Dustin’s fried jalapeño’s! You will not regret it!
