I have to give this place 5 stars because the food is so awesome! Perfect spot for lunch, I adore the pasta salad, the seven layer salad and several of the sandwhiches but it’s the SWEETS you come for, try them all you won’t be disappointed! The party platters are wonderful for events and gifts!!! My only complaint is I wish they’d extend the hours!

This place is super cute and everyone that works there is very friendly. I really wanted to like the place. Unfortunately, my food was not very good. I had the tuna melt which was ok, and the broccoli cheese soup which was simply awful — watery and bland. Perhaps it was just an off day? The desserts looked really good.

Awesome restaurant. Has an old time feel with great food and atmosphere. We were a party of 3 and had a great time! Will be back.

I do enjoy this little sandwich shop, located quaintly in downtown Kinston, NC. It is situated in a petite little«peach house» that actually has some history to share. The clientele consists mostly of local business people looking to grab a quick bite. The sandwiches are tasty, and the soups are always fresh. Don’t leave without trying one of their homemade desserts, as these are always sure to please. Expect to spend between $ 5 — $ 12 for your meal after adding in drink, soup, and dessert. Most locals complain that they’re overpriced; however, you must remember that these ARE Kinstonians, who are used to $ 5.00 Bojangle’s meals and $ 3.00 Taco Bell. ;-) Just sayin… Overall, I would recommend this quaint little eatery; however, don’t bypass Queen Street Deli up the road, it’s sure to please and consists of a slightly more elevated clientele and ambiance.

Stopped in on our way to Beaufort around lunch time. There was a solid local lunch crowd, which is always a good sign, saying good things about the sandwiches and salads on the menu. My wife tried the chicken salad on a hot croissant, and I the zinger chicken panini(grilled chicken with some sort of eastern Carolina, vinegar based spicy sauce). Both items were great! They also have espresso in case you’re looking for a mid travel pick me up.

Super nice folks. Great selection of sandwhiches. I ate here with a group of people from work, everybody had something different, and everyone really liked what they had. We took over a room upstairs so we wouldn’t bother anyone else, and the staff were super-accommodating. Very, very fresh ingredients, the roast beef in my French Dip was extremely tender and perfectly cooked. Even free wi-fi. Nice atmosphere in a nicely restored old house. Kind of a hidden gem; I’ll definitely go back when in town.

Went to the Peach House today for a working lunch as a suggestion and I was thrilled to have agreed to try it out. Kinston is not known for it’s good eats(sorry Kinston folks) but thankfully I have now found the Peach House and will be returning for future good eats. The Peach House is set in a little house, go figure. It is equipped with a cute little front porch where you can dine outside and the inside has various rooms with little tables. You order and pay at the counter, take a number and it is then brought to your table. Peach House has tons of options that range from salads, soups, quiche, sandwiches, and a yowza amount of desserts. I ordered the special which was the grilled chicken caesar salad and it did not disappoint. My co-worker got the ham and cheddar quiche. We were both very happy with our meals. The staff was very sweet and wanted to be sure that we not only were happy with out meals but were happy with our entire experience. I look forward to coming in again to indulge in dessert and will also utilize the Peach House for their catering and box lunches for work events as they advertise this as one of their specialties! There was also a sign that they are open for breakfast at 9am although I did not see what they serve but I will be finding out! :)
